    \               <jats:p>It has been reported that there is no correlation between
    anterior tibia translation (ATT) in passive and dynamic situations. Passive ATT
    (ATTp) may be different to dynamic ATT (ATTd) due to muscle activation patterns.
    This study aimed to investigate whether muscle activation during jumping can control
    ATT in healthy participants.</jats:p>\r\n              </jats:sec><jats:sec>\r\n
    \               <jats:title>Methods</jats:title>\r\n                <jats:p>ATTp
    of twenty-one healthy participants was measured using a KT-1000 arthrometer. All
    participants performed single leg hops for distance during which ATTd, knee flexion
    angles and knee flexion moments were measured using a 3D motion capture system.
    During both tests, sEMG signals were recorded.</jats:p>\r\n              </jats:sec><jats:sec>\r\n
    \               <jats:title>Results</jats:title>\r\n                <jats:p>A
    negative correlation was found between ATTp and the maximal ATTd (r = − 0.47,
    <jats:italic>p</jats:italic> = 0.028). An N-Way ANOVA showed that larger semitendinosus
    activity was seen when ATTd was larger, while less biceps femoris activity and
    rectus femoris activity were seen. Moreover, larger knee extension moment, knee
    flexion angle and ground reaction force in the anterior-posterior direction were
    seen when ATTd was larger.</jats:p>\r\n              </jats:sec><jats:sec>\r\n
    \               <jats:title>Conclusion</jats:title>\r\n                <jats:p>Participants
    with more ATTp showed smaller ATTd during jump landing. Muscle activation did
    not contribute to reduce ATTd during impact of a jump-landing at the observed
    knee angles. However, subjects with large ATTp landed with less knee flexion and
    consequently showed less ATTd. The results of this study give information on how
    healthy people control knee laxity during jump-landing.</jats:p>\r\n              </jats:sec><jats:sec>\r\n

  text: '<jats:p>The paper presents a cross-European survey on teachers and crowdsourcing.
    The survey examines how familiar language teachers are with the concept of crowdsourcing
    and addresses their attitude towards including crowdsourcing into language teaching
    activities. The survey was administrated via an online questionnaire and collected
    volunteers’ data on: (a) teachers’ experience with organizing crowdsourcing activities
    for students/pupils, (b) the development of crowdsourced resources and materials
    as well as (c) teachers’ motivation for participating in or employing crowdsourcing
    activities. The questionnaire was disseminated in over 30 European countries.
    The final sample comprises 1129 language teachers aged 20 to 65, mostly working
    at institutions of tertiary education. The data indicates that many participants
    are not familiar with the concept of crowdsourcing resulting in a low rate of
    crowdsourcing activities in the classroom. However, a high percentage of responding
    teachers is potentially willing to crowdsource teaching materials for the language(s)
    they teach. They are particularly willing to collaborate with other teachers in
    the creation of interactive digital learning materials, and to select, edit, and
    share language examples for exercises or tests. Since the inclusion of crowdsourcing
    activities in language teaching is still in its initial stage, steps for further
    research are highlighted.</jats:p>'

  text: An experimental study is presented for the reverse micellar system of 15%
    by mass polydisperse hexaethylene glycol monodecylether (C10E6) in cyclohexane
    with varying amounts of added water up to 4% by mass. Measurements of viscosity
    and self-diffusion coefficients were taken as a function of temperature between
    10 and 45 °C at varying sample water loads but fixed C10E6/cyclohexane composition.
    The results were used to inspect the validity of the Stokes–Einstein equation
    for this system. Unreasonably small reverse average micelle radii and aggregation
    numbers were obtained with the Stokes–Einstein equation, but reasonable values
    for these quantities were obtained using the ratio of surfactant-to-cyclohexane
    self-diffusion coefficients. While bulk viscosity increased with increasing water
    load, a concurrent expected decrease of self-diffusion coefficient was only observed
    for the surfactant and water but not for cyclohexane, which showed independence
    of water load. Moreover, a spread of self-diffusion coefficients was observed
    for the protons associated with the ethylene oxide repeat unit in samples with
    polydisperse C10E6 but not in a sample with monodisperse C10E6. These findings
    were interpreted by the presence of reverse micelle to reverse micelle hopping
    motions that with higher water load become increasingly selective toward C10E6
    molecules with short ethylene oxide repeat units, while those with long ethylene
    oxide repeat units remain trapped within the reverse micelle because of the increased
    hydrogen bonding interactions with the water inside the growing core of the reverse
    micelle. Despite the observed breakdown of the Stokes–Einstein equation, the temperature
    dependence of the viscosities and self-diffusion coefficients was found to follow
    Arrhenius behavior over the investigated range of temperatures.

    Ein weit verbreitetes Problem, welches im Zusammenhang mit Ernährungserhebungen
    auftritt und\r\nzu systematischen Verzerrungen führt, ist das sogenannte Misreporting.
    Um diesem Problem in groß angelegten\r\nernährungsepidemiologischen Studien zu
    begegnen und LER zu identifizieren, wurden verschiedene statistische\r\n(Schätz-)Methoden
    entwickelt. Ziel der vorliegenden Studie war es, Misreporting zu identifizieren
    und LER hinsicht-\r\nlich ihrer soziodemografischen Merkmale zu beschreiben. Weiterhin
    sollte untersucht werden, ob bestimmte Le-\r\nbensmittelgruppen besonders von
    Low-energy-reporting betroffen sind und welchen Einfluss dies auf die Nähr-\r\nstoffzufuhr
    der Bevölkerung hat.\r\nMethoden: Datengrundlage bilden 943 Wiegeprotokolle der
    NVS II. Anhand verschiedener Schätzgleichungen\r\nwurden LER identifiziert. Unterschiede
    im Lebensmittelverzehr wurden absolut und adjustiert für die Energiezufuhr\r\nuntersucht.
    Die Nährstoffversorgung wurde mit den D-A-CH-Referenzwerten verglichen.\r\nErgebnisse:
    Die Prävalenz für Misreporting war abhängig von der angewandten Vorgehensweise
    zur Identifika-\r\ntion von Misreporting. Unter Verwendung des Goldberg-Cut-offs
    mit der Müller-Gleichung stieg die Wahrschein-\r\nlichkeit für Low-energy-reporting
    durch Übergewicht. Ebenso neigten eher Frauen und jüngere Personen aus der\r\nMittelschicht
    bzw. unteren Mittelschicht dazu, ihr Essverhalten nicht plausibel zu protokollierten.
    LER protokollierten\r\nim Verhältnis zur Energiezufuhr weniger Backwaren, Nüsse
    und Samen, Süßigkeiten, tierische Fette sowie Bier,\r\nWein und Sekt. LER hatten
    eine höhere Energiezufuhr aus Proteinen und absolut betrachtet war die Makro-
    und\r\nMikronährstoffzufuhr sowie die Ballaststoffzufuhr von LER signifikant kleiner.
    Nach Adjustierung für die protokol-\r\nlierte Energizufuhr war die Ernährung der
    LER (für die meisten Mikronährstoffe) allerdings nährstoffdichter. Der\r\nAnteil
    derer, die die D-A-CH-Referenzwerte für die verschiedenen Mikronährstoffe nicht
    erreichen, war unter den\r\nLER signifikant höher.\r\nFazit: Da in Studien zu
    Misreporting unterschiedliche Methoden zur Identifikation sowie zum Umgang mit
    LER\r\nangewandt werden, sind die Ergebnisse sind z. T. nicht konsistent. Dass
    Misreporting mit einem höheren Körper-\r\ngewicht assoziiert ist und, dass überproportional
    fett- und zuckerreiche Lebensmittel betroffen sind, wird durch viele\r\nStudien
    bestätigt. Ebenso zeigen mehrere Studien, dass es durch Low-energy-reporting zu
    einer Überschätzung\r\neiner nichtadäquaten Mikronährstoffzufuhr kommt. Für künftige
    Studien ist es sinnvoll einheitliche Standards zur\r\nIdentifikation von Misreporting,
    wie sie durch die EFSA formuliert werden, anzuwenden, die körperliche Aktivität\r\nobjektiv
    zu erfassen und vor allem Misreporting zu minimieren. Hierzu kann das Potential
    der Informations- und\r\nKommunikationstechnologie genutzt werden."

    Sci. 18 (2008) 1249–1267]. The focus here is on the question of how far a certain
    porous medium enhancement in the random diffusion of criminal agents may exert
    visible relaxation effects. It is shown that sufficient regularity of the non-negative
    source terms in the system and a sufficiently strong nonlinear enhancement ensure
    that a corresponding Neumann-type initial–boundary value problem, posed in a smoothly
    bounded planar convex domain, admits locally bounded solutions for a wide class
    of arbitrary initial data. Furthermore, this solution is globally bounded under
    mild additional conditions on the source terms. These results are supplemented
    by numerical evidence which illustrates smoothing effects in solutions with sharply
    structured initial data in the presence of such porous medium-type diffusion and
    support the existence of singular structures in the linear diffusion case, which
    is the type of diffusion proposed in Ref. 29. </jats:p>

  text: In this paper we present the system and circuit level analysis and feasibility
    study of applying microwave Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) systems with
    multipleinput multiple-output (MIMO) reader technology for tracking machining
    tools in multipath fading conditions of production environments. In the proposed
    system the MIMO reader interrogates single-antenna tags, and a high RFID frequency
    of 5.8 GHz is chosen to reduce the size of the reader's antenna array. According
    to the requirements dictated by the performed system analysis at 5.8 GHz, a low
    power fully integrated analog frontend (AFE) is designed and fabricated in a standard
    65-nm CMOS technology for low power passive transponders. Performance of the Differential
    Drive Rectifier (DDR) topology as the core of the energy harvesting unit is investigated
    in detail. A multi-stage DDR power scavenging unit is dimensioned to provide a
    1.2 V rectified voltage for 20-30 kQ load range, with a high power conversion
    efficiency (PCE) for high frequency and low input power level signals. The rectified
    voltage is then converted to a 1 V regulated voltage for the AFE and the baseband
    processor with 30 to 50 μW of estimated power consumption. Transistors with standard
    threshold voltage (VT) have been used for implementation. Measurements of the
    fabricated multi-stage configuration of the circuit show a maximum PCE of 68.8%
    at -12.46 dBm, and an input quality factor (Q-factor) of approximately 10. Amplitude-shift
    keying (ASK) demodulator and backscattering modulator with 80% modulation index,
    operating according to EPC-C1G2 protocol are applied for data transfer. The AFE
    consumes less than 1 μW in the reading mode. The AFE tag chip is 0.55 × 0.58 mm
    2 .
