The theoretical basis methodological approaches in philosophical anthropology, phenomenology, analytical philosophy, communicative philosophy, existentialism, ethics of justice, and ethics of care determine the study’s theoretical basis. Originality. For the first time, a systematic analysis of the anthropological dimension of ecocide has been carried out based on ecofeminist methodology. The specifics of the Ukrainian resistance to ecocide were revealed as part of a single struggle – an anti-imperial and ecological struggle for independence and prosperity. It is emphasized that during the war, the opposition to ecocide is a component of the fight for national sovereignty and territorial integrity of the country, and therefore, the ideas of pacifism in this period are subordinated to this primary goal. After the war, preventing threats of ecocide should become an integral part of the struggle for stable peace and prosperity. Ecofeminist pacifist perspectives should be a priority among the most essential goals for that period. Conclusions. Ecofeminist methodological assessments offer valuable insights into the anthropological dimension of ecocide in wartime and post-war contexts, highlighting the complex interplay between gender, violence, and environmental destruction. Racism is also evident in the depiction of\r\nJesus Christ, who traditionally is portrayed as 'white' in Christian art, although he must be read\r\nbiblically as a Person of Color (PoC). Examples such as the “Wales Window for Alabama” (1964)\r\nby Ronald John Petts and the contemporary icon by Kelly Latimore “Christ in The Rubble” (2023)\r\nshow Jesus as PoC and address racism and social justice. Children’s Bibles continue to be\r\ndominated by ‘white’ depictions of Jesus and the people around him. Works such as the chil-\r\ndren’s Bibles by Desmond Tutu (lyrics) / Laure Fournier et al. (illustration) (2010), Sören Dalevi\r\n(lyrics) / Marcus-Gunnar Petterson (illustration) (2022), Willemijn de Weerd (lyrics) / Marieke ten\r\nBerge (illustration) (2022) and Andrea Karimé (lyrics) / Anna Lisicki-Hehn (illustration) (2023) of-\r\nfer more diverse and racism-sensitive depictions that contribute to the promotion of diversity\r\ncompetence and positive identity formation. It emphasizes the need for teachers to familiarize themselves with the\r\nspecific pedagogical and hermeneutical approaches of the three monotheistic religions in\r\norder to be able to use the didactic Holy Scriptures appropriately in the classroom.\r\nExamples from current religious education lessons show misunderstandings and\r\nsurprises that arise due to insufficient knowledge. Histories of Tax Evasion, Avoidance and Resistance shows how different groups and individuals around the globe have succeeded or failed in not paying their due taxes, whether in kind or in cash, on their properties or on their crops.\r\n\r\nIt analyses how, throughout history, wealthy and poor taxpayers have tried to avoid or reduce their tax burden by negotiating with tax authorities, through practices of legal or illegal tax evasion, by filing lawsuits, seeking armed resistance or by migration, and how state authorities have dealt with such acts of claim making, defiance, open resistance or elusion. It fills an important research gap in tax history, addressing questions of tax morale and fairness, and how social and political inequality was negotiated through taxation. It gives rich insights into the development of citizen-state relationships throughout the course of history. The book comprises case studies from Ancient Athens, Roman Egypt, Medieval Europe, Early Modern Mexico, the Ottoman Empire, Nigeria under British colonial rule, the United Kingdom of the early 20th century, Greece during the Second World War, as well as West Germany, Switzerland, Sweden and the United States in the 20th century, including transnational entanglements in the world of late-modern offshore finance and taxation.
