Embedded in a zeitgeist that favors sustainability, this outlook would suggest high integrated reporting adoption rates among reporting organizations. Our analysis of integrated reporting in Germany from 2008 to 2019 shows, however, that organizations approached integrated reporting with a wait-and-see mentality. This approach cannot be described adequately by the existing conceptualizations of (partial) practice adoption. We therefore develop the notion of wait-and-see-ism, defined as the deliberate and potentially long-lasting postponement of a decision to adopt a practice while its further development is monitored silently. We see limited, though continuous, efforts to prepare for the prospect of adopting the practice of integrated reporting quickly at a later stage. Wait-and-see-ism expands on prior work on partial adoption by emphasizing its temporal dimension. This adds an important yet undertheorized option that organizations can employ to respond to ambiguous institutional demands, thus explaining the stalling of promising management practices. }}, author = {{Endenich, Christoph and Hahn, Rüdiger and Reimsbach, Daniel and Wickert, Christopher}}, issn = {{1476-1270}}, journal = {{Strategic Organization}}, keywords = {{Strategy and Management, Industrial relations, Education, Business and International Management}}, number = {{3}}, pages = {{566--595}}, publisher = {{SAGE Publications}}, title = {{{Wait-and-see-ism as partial adoption of management practices: The rise and stall of integrated reporting}}}, doi = {{10.1177/14761270221078605}}, volume = {{21}}, year = {{2022}}, } @article{46660, author = {{Böhm, Eva and Eggert, A. and Garnefeld, I. and Holzmüller, H. and Schaefers, T and Steinhoff, Lena and Woisetschläger, D.}}, journal = {{Journal of Service Management}}, number = {{4}}, pages = {{216--231}}, title = {{{Exploring the customer journey of voice commerce: A research agenda}}}, volume = {{6}}, year = {{2022}}, } @article{34154, abstract = {{Regulations to prevent ethnic discrimination in accessing the labor market are implemented most thoroughly in the public sector. While the neoclassical assumption of perfect information is surely an important conceptual benchmark for discussing efficient allocations, it is obviously far from describing a rational choice under real conditions. In reality, optimal choices should be considered choices under imperfect information. Thus, decision-makers' information problem can be solved by two strategies. Either they collect an optimal set of information to make an optimal allocation choice under this imperfect information set or they can apply heuristic reasoning. In this paper, we suggest a formal model framework for the example of a simple consumer decision for the allocation of differentiated goods to explore information acquisition strategies in such a simple standard choice situation. Using the model variation under perfect information as a benchmark, we answer the following questions. First and most importantly, under imperfect information, can a heuristic rule substitute information acquisition as an optimal choice? Second, what is the role of risk aversion in the information acquisition process? Finally, we explore the differences to the benchmark, both ex ante the first purchase decision and ex post when repeated purchases and consumption allows for experiences with the choices made. }}, author = {{Burs, Carina and Gries, Thomas}}, keywords = {{information economics, imperfect information, Bayesian learning, risk, heuristics, differentiated products}}, publisher = {{ Paderborn University, CIE Center for International Economics}}, title = {{{Decision-making under Imperfect Information with Bayesian Learning or Heuristic Rules}}}, volume = {{No. 149}}, year = {{2022}}, } @article{33666, author = {{Feng, Yuanhua and Gries, Thomas and Letmathe, Sebastian and Schulz, Dominik}}, issn = {{2073-4859}}, journal = {{The R Journal}}, keywords = {{Statistics, Probability and Uncertainty, Numerical Analysis, Statistics and Probability}}, number = {{1}}, pages = {{182--195}}, publisher = {{The R Foundation}}, title = {{{The smoots Package in R for Semiparametric Modeling of Trend Stationary Time Series}}}, doi = {{10.32614/rj-2022-017}}, volume = {{14}}, year = {{2022}}, } @inproceedings{34317, author = {{Arslan, Kader and Trier, Matthias}}, booktitle = {{Proceedings of the 33rd Australasian Conference on Information Systems (ACIS 2022)}}, keywords = {{Social media, Social media marketing process, Social media strategy, Social media management, Guidelines}}, location = {{Melbourne, Australia}}, title = {{{Towards a Process Model for Social Media Marketing}}}, year = {{2022}}, } @inbook{50382, author = {{Hrnjadovic, Damir}}, booktitle = {{Aktuelle Fragestellungen zu Produktion, Logistik und Controlling}}, editor = {{Betz, Stefan}}, isbn = {{978-3-339-12536-1}}, pages = {{145--191}}, publisher = {{Dr. Kovac}}, title = {{{Aktuelle Fragestellungen zu Produktion, Controlling und Logistik}}}, year = {{2022}}, } @inproceedings{36912, abstract = {{Existing process mining methods are primarily designed for processes that have reached a high degree of digitalization and standardization.
