The quantity g(E)/E2, where g(E) is the vibrational phonon density of states (VDOS) of the resonant nuclei, exhibits a pronounced maximum at low energies. Confinement in pores leads to a suppression of the VDOS below 1.5 meV, independent of the pore size. Also in the scaled heat capacity C(T)/T3, we observe a decrease of the peak maximum for low temperatures. Our observations are discussed in the light of experimental and theoretical results on nanocrystals and a recent theoretical model for the boson peak.","lang":"eng"}],"status":"public","type":"journal_article","publication":"Hyperfine Interactions","article_type":"original","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"_id":"41307","user_id":"48467","department":[{"_id":"306"}]},{"keyword":["Surfaces and Interfaces","General Materials Science","General Chemistry","Biophysics","Biotechnology"],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"_id":"42039","department":[{"_id":"314"}],"user_id":"237","status":"public","publication":"The European Physical Journal E","type":"journal_article","title":"Collapse of sodium polyacrylate chains in calcium salt solutions","doi":"10.1007/s101890170093","publisher":"Springer Science and Business Media LLC","date_updated":"2023-02-13T09:09:32Z","volume":5,"date_created":"2023-02-13T09:09:04Z","author":[{"full_name":"Schweins, R.","last_name":"Schweins","first_name":"R."},{"id":"237","full_name":"Huber, Klaus","last_name":"Huber","first_name":"Klaus"}],"year":"2002","page":"117-126","intvolume":" 5","citation":{"bibtex":"@article{Schweins_Huber_2002, title={Collapse of sodium polyacrylate chains in calcium salt solutions}, volume={5}, DOI={<a href=\"https://doi.org/10.1007/s101890170093\">10.1007/s101890170093</a>}, number={1}, journal={The European Physical Journal E}, publisher={Springer Science and Business Media LLC}, author={Schweins, R. and Huber, Klaus}, year={2002}, pages={117–126} }","short":"R. Benzene is used a an additive which acts as a weak swelling agent although most of the benzene molecules are found to reside near the surfactant/silicate interface region rather than in the micelle cores. With increasing relative amounts of benzene, the curvature of the micellar aggregates decreases, which finally leads to a transition from (hexagonally) rodlike to lamellar; a mechanism for this change in curvature is suggested.","lang":"eng"}],"status":"public","publication":"Langmuir","type":"journal_article"},{"title":"Mesoporous aluminophosphates from a single-source precursor","doi":"10.1039/b110662g","date_updated":"2023-03-09T09:03:25Z","date_created":"2021-10-09T10:04:05Z","author":[{"last_name":"Tiemann","orcid":"0000-0003-1711-2722","id":"23547","full_name":"Tiemann, Michael","first_name":"Michael"},{"first_name":"Michael","last_name":"Fröba","full_name":"Fröba, Michael"}],"year":"2002","page":"406-407","citation":{"ama":"Tiemann M, Fröba M. Small amounts of water in the synthesis mixture play a significant role in the hydrolysis of the aluminum precursor (Al[OiPr]3) and are important for the quality of the mesostructured products. The materials exhibit disordered mesostructures, the stability and structural order of which can be improved by a postsynthetic thermal treatment. The products are then stable enough for the removal of the surfactant molecules by acidic solvent extraction, yielding surface areas up to 690 m2/g.","lang":"eng"}],"publication":"Chemistry of Materials","type":"journal_article","extern":"1","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"article_type":"original","department":[{"_id":"35"},{"_id":"2"},{"_id":"307"}],"user_id":"23547","_id":"26003","page":"2885-2891","citation":{"ama":"Tiemann M, Schulz M, Jäger C, Fröba M.
