  text: <jats:p>Lightweight design in vehicles leads to an increasing use of fibre-reinforced-plastics
    (FRP). To ensure the possibility of detachable joints in those constructions specific
    joining technologies have to be developed. Available technologies are not suitable
    for mass production or are leading to damage in the FRP. The aim of this paper
    is to show the possibilities and the general feasibility of a new process approach
    for the application of functional elements in FRP or hybrid materials during resin
    transfer moulding (RTM) processes. Therefore the movement of the RTM-tool-punch
    is utilised to produce an interlock between the splay stud and the fibres of the
    non-consolidated preform. This enables the application of the elements during
    the RTM-process. The resin infusion leads to the consolidation of the CFRP and
    a further fixation of the splay stud. Pull-out-tests as well as torsion tests
    are showing the mechanical performance of the joints.</jats:p>

  text: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>A finite strain micro‐sphere framework
    for hyperelastic solids elaborated by Carol et al. is extended towards the modelling
    of phase transformations in order to simulate polycrystalline solids under large
    deformations such as, e.g., shape memory alloys and shape memory polymers. The
    implemented phase transformation mechanism is based on statistical physics and
    is not restricted in terms of the number of solid material phases that can be
    considered, though we restrict the provided examples to two phases for the sake
    of conceptual clarity. The specifically chosen non‐quadratic format of the Helmholtz
    free energy functions considered on the micro‐plane level includes Bain‐type transformation
    strains for each of the phases considered. Following the Voigt assumption on the
    micro‐scale, identical total micro‐stretches act in each of the material phases,
    where a multiplicative decomposition into elastic and transformation‐related contributions

  text: "Den additiven Fertigungsverfahren wird ein hohes Potential zugesprochen,
    die industrielle Fertigung von Bauteilen und Werkzeugen nachhaltig zu ändern.
    Dies gilt auch für das hier betrachtete Laserstrahlschmelzen, bei dem metallische
    Werkstoffe in Pulverform verarbeitet werden. Durch den schichtweisen Aufbau können
    dabei enorme Vorteile gegenüber konventionellen Fertigungsverfahren erzielt werden,
    was sich u. a. in einem bis dato unerreichten Maß an Geometriefreiheit widerspiegelt.\r\n\r\nAllerdings
    werden die Werkstoffeigenschaften teils erheblich durch kurze und intensive Wechselwirkungen
    zwischen Laser und Werkstoff bestimmt. Hierdurch können sich werkstoff-spezifische
    Nachteile gegenüber konventionellen Fertigungsverfahren ergeben, die eine weitreichende
    Etablierung des Laserstrahlschmelzens erschweren.\r\n\r\nVor diesem Hintergrund
    zielt die vorliegende Dissertation auf eine Analyse und ggf. Optimierung der mikrostrukturellen
    und mechanischen Eigenschaften laserstrahlgeschmolzener Werkstoffe. Der Schwerpunkt
    liegt hierbei auf einer Ermüdungsbeanspruchung, da Einflüsse prozess-induzierter
    Defektstrukturen unter dieser Beanspruchungsform besonders deutlich werden. Durch
    umfangreiche Untersuchungen können dabei Prozessrouten aufgezeigt werden, die
    für die betrachteten Werkstoffe TiAl6V4 und 316L den detektierten Schädigungsmechanismen
    Rechnung tragen und somit zu einer technologischen Konkurrenzfähigkeit des Laserstrahlschmelzens
    führen."
