Im Projekt BiFoKi[ii] (Bielefelder Fortbildungskonzept zur Kooperation in inklusiven Schulen) wurde eine Fortbildungsmaßnahme für inklusive Schulen entwickelt, die sowohl die intrainstitutionelle Kooperation innerhalb der Schule als auch die interinstitutionelle Zusammenarbeit mit den Eltern der Schüler*innen mit und ohne sonderpädagogischen Unterstützungsbedarf adressiert. Die Fortbildung zielt u.a. darauf ab, durch eine im Jahrgangsteam gemeinsam geplante und verantwortete Elternarbeit eine einladende Atmosphäre zu schaffen, Kommunikationswege an diverser werdende Bedarfe der Eltern und der Schüler*innen anzupassen und Eltern stärker in schulische Bildungsprozesse einzubeziehen. Zur Evaluation der Fortbildung wurde eine quasi-experimentelle Studie mit einem Prä-Post-Kontrollgruppendesign realisiert. Längsschnittliche Daten liegen für 55 Lehr- und Fachkräfte vor. Die Ergebnisse der varianzanalytischen Auswertung zeigen, dass sich die Einschätzungen zur Kooperationsbereitschaft der Eltern sowie das selbstberichtete Kooperationsverhalten im Bereich der Erziehungs- und Bildungskooperation in der Interventionsgruppe nach der Teilnahme an der Fortbildung signifikant positiver entwickelt hat als in der Kontrollgruppe.   [i] Mit dem Begriff Eltern sind hier alle erziehungs- bzw. sorgeberechtigten Personen gemeint. Abstract To implement inclusive education successfully, it is crucial that teachers and other school staff are trained to cooperate effectively as a team and to involve parents in educational processes. In the project BiFoKi (Bielefeld Training on Cooperation in inclusive), we developed an in-service training for inclusive schools that addresses the intra-institutional cooperation within schools and the inter-institutional cooperation with the parents of students with and without special educational needs. The training aims to prepare grade-level teams to create a welcoming atmosphere, adapt communication ways to the diverse needs of parents and students and to involve parents more strongly in school educational processes. To evaluate the effectiveness of the training, a quasi-experimental study with a pre-post control group design was implemented. Longitudinal data is available for 55 teachers and other professionals. However, in certain contexts, repeating negations undergo adaptation, which over time mitigates the effort. Here, we ask negations hamper visual processing and whether consecutive repetitions mitigate its influence. We assessed the overall attentional capacity and its distribution, the relative weight, quantitatively using the formal Theory of Visual Attention (TVA). Here, we employed a very simple form for negations, binary negations. Negated instructions, expressing the only alternative to the core supposition, were cognitively demanding, resulting in a loss of attentional capacity in three experiments. The overall attentional capacity recovered gradually but stagnated at a lower level than with assertions, even after many repetitions. Additionally, negations distributed the attention equally between target and reference stimulus. Repetitions slightly increased the reference' share of attention. Assertions, on the other hand, shifted the attentional weight towards the target. This existing research suggests that SA effects on language skills tend to be volatile, while the impact on various aspects of learners’ personal, academic, and professional development may be longer-lasting. Yet, learner perspectives on the dynamics and durability of such effects, in particular in the context of short-term SA programs, remain largely unexplored. This study hence investigates the near-term impact of short-term SA programs as experienced by students within the first months and years following their sojourns. A qualitative case-study design is employed to examine the accounts of four American students of German, who studied abroad in Austria for four weeks and were interviewed repeatedly over a period of up to 40 months after their sojourns. The results suggest that, from the students’ perspective, many effects deteriorate in the near term, although the overall sojourn experience still appears influential. Abstract in German Nur wenige Forschungsvorhaben haben sich bislang den mittel- bis langfristigen Auswirkungen studentischer Auslandsaufenthalte gewidmet; die bisherige Datenlage deutet jedoch darauf hin, dass die Auswirkungen auf sprachliche Kompetenzen eher unbeständig sind, wohingegen die persönliche, studiums- und berufsbezogene Entwicklung der Lernenden länger von einem Auslandsaufenthalt beeinflusst wird. Die Dynamik und Beständigkeit derartiger Auswirkungen wurden jedoch kaum mit Blick auf kurze Auslandsaufenthalte (≤ acht Wochen) sowie aus der Perspektive der Studierenden erforscht, was die vorliegende Studie insbesondere hinsichtlich mittelfristiger Effekte fokussiert. Mittels eines qualitativen Fallstudiendesigns werden die Interviewdaten vier amerikanischer Deutschlernender untersucht, die sich vier Wochen in Österreich aufhielten und in einem Zeitraum von bis zu 40 Monaten nach ihrem Aufenthalt wiederholt befragt wurden. Based on this Foucauldian understanding, this exploratory article examines tax education in the United States, Spain, and West Germany from the mid-1940s to the late 1980s. During this period, the USA asserted itself as the champion of tax education and Spain consistently tried to emulate this example, albeit with more modest means and different semantic strategies from as early as the 1960s, when it was still under a autoritarian regime. The FRG, however, completely discontinued its few early attempts at tax education from the mid-1950s onwards. Even during the economic crises and tax scandals of the 1970s, there was no relaunch of the programs. To the best of our knowledge, no suitable data corpora are available for systematic research until now. The Information System Graffiti in Germany project (Ingrid) closes this gap by dealing with graffiti image collections that have been made available to the project for public use. Within Ingrid, the graffiti images are collected, digitized and annotated. With this work, we aim to support the rapid access to a comprehensive data source on Ingrid targeted especially by researchers. In particular, we present IngridKG, an RDF knowledge graph of annotated graffiti, abides by the Linked Data and FAIR principles. We weekly update IngridKG by augmenting the new annotated graffiti to our knowledge graph. Our generation pipeline applies RDF data conversion, link discovery and data fusion approaches to the original data. The current version of IngridKG contains 460,640,154 triples and is linked to 3 other knowledge graphs by over 200,000 links. The present dissertation addresses this research gap using machine learning methods. Implicit expressions are not comprehensible by computers and cannot be localized in the text. However, many texts arise on interpersonal topics that, unlike commercial evaluation texts, often imply information only by means of longer phrases. Examples are the kindness and the attentiveness of a doctor, which are only paraphrased (“he didn’t even look me in the eye”). The analysis of such data, especially the identification and localization of implicit statements, is a research gap (1). This work uses so-called Aspect-based Sentiment Analysis as a method for this purpose. It remains open how the aspect categories to be extracted can be discovered and thematically delineated based on the data (2). Furthermore, it is not yet explored how a collection of tools should look like, with which implicit phrases can be identified and thus made explicit (3). Last, it is an open question how to correlate the identified phrases from the text data with other data, including the investigation of the relationship between quantitative scores (e.g., school grades) and the thematically related text (4). Based on these research gaps, the research question is posed as follows: Using text mining methods, how can implicit rating content be properly interpreted and thus made explicit before it is automatically categorized and quantified? The uniqueness of this dissertation is based on the automated recognition of implicit linguistic statements alongside explicit statements. These are identified in unstructured text data so that features expressed only in the text can later be compared across data sources, even though they were not included in rating categories such as stars or school grades. German-language physician ratings from websites in three countries serve as the sample domain. The solution approach consists of data creation, a pipeline for text processing and analyses based on this. In the data creation, aspect classes are identified and delineated across platforms and marked in text data. This results in six datasets with over 70,000 annotated sentences and detailed guidelines. The models that were created based on the training data extract and categorize the aspects. In addition, the sentiment polarity and the evaluation weight, i. e., the importance of each phrase, are determined. The models, which are combined in a pipeline, are used in a prototype in the form of a web application. The analyses built on the pipeline quantify the rating contents by linking the obtained information with further data, thus allowing new insights. As a result, a toolbox is provided to identify quantifiable rating content and categories using text mining for a sample domain.
