--- _id: '55638' abstract: - lang: eng text: Abstract. Traditionally, joints are cylindrical and rotationally symmetric. In the present study, non-rotationally symmetric joints are used for joining steel and Glass mat-reinforced thermoplastic sheets (GMT). In addition, the study also analyzes the impact of non-rotational symmetric joint rotation on the load-bearing capacity. Single lap joint specimens were fabricated using the In-Mold assembly technique for joining steel sheets with GMT. Tensile shear tests were performed on different orientations of the joint geometry, and it was observed that changing the joint orientation influences the load-bearing capacity. Such data protection has become even more important since the European Union rolled out the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Since app developers are not legal experts, they find it difficult to write privacy-aware source code. Moreover, they have limited tool support to reason about data protection throughout their app development process.\r\nThis paper motivates the need for a static analysis approach to diagnose and explain data protection in Android apps. The analysis will recognize personal data sources in the source code, and aims to further examine the data flow originating from these sources. App developers can then address key questions about data manipulation, derived data, and the presence of technical measures. Despite challenges, we explore to what extent one can realize this analysis through static taint analysis, a common method for identifying security vulnerabilities. This is a first step towards designing a tool-based approach that aids app developers and assessors in ensuring data protection in Android apps, based on automated static program analysis. This model can be prospectively used inside a closed-loop property-controlled flow forming process. To achieve this, optimization by means of a non-linear regression of experimental data was carried out. To collect the experimental data, specimens were produced by flow forming seamless tubes at room temperature. Using a combination of production parameters (like the infeed depth and feed rate), specimens with different α’-martensite contents and wall-thickness reductions were produced. An equation to compute α’-martensite from both specific production-process parameters and micromagnetic Barkhausen noise (MBN) measurements was obtained using numerical methods. In this process, the behavior of the quantity of interest (namely, the α’-martensite content) was mathematically evaluated with respect to non-destructive MBN data and the feed rate that was used to produce the components. A combination of exponential and potential functions was defined as the ansatz functions of the model. The obtained model was validated online and offline during the real flow forming of workpieces, obtaining average deviations of up to 7% α’-martensite with respect to the model.
