<i>Forcierte Form</i>. Punch riveting is a widely used and established joining process in many sectors. The white and brown goods, electrical engineering, construction and, in particular, the automotive industry are some of the sectors mentioned here.\r\n\r\nSince the design and assessment of punch rivet components with regard to structural durability can only be carried out experimentally using prototypes due to a lack of experience and calculation concepts, the improvement of this uneconomical and time-consuming procedure is the goal of this contribution.\r\n\r\nTherefore, a numerical simulation and design method for cyclically loads punched riveted joints shall be introduced. This concept shall be based on the notch strain concept.\r\n\r\nThe following steps are necessary to achieve the goal shown above:\r\n\r\n Tensile tests on all materials involved in the joint for determination of tensile strength and quasi-static stress-strain curves\r\n Estimation of the cyclic material properties from the tensile strength in order to obtain the strain-life curve and the cyclic stress-strain curve\r\n Estimation of mean stress sensitivity from the tensile strength to conduct an amplitude transformation for variable amplitude loadings.\r\n Execution of a 2D forming simulation of the joining process to determine the geometry and the stresses and degrees of deformation present in the connection\r\n Transferring the results of the forming simulation into a static-mechanical load simulation for determining the relation between the external load and the elastic-plastic strain at the critical point\r\n Estimation of the service life by means of the damage parameter Wöhler curves calculated from the strain-life curve\r\n\r\nIn order to verify the simulation and calculation method, service life investigations have been carried out on punched riveted components under constant and variable amplitude load.\r\n\r\nThe test results, as well as the workflow through the fatigue assessment and its accuracy in estimation the fatigue life will be shown in this contribution.","lang":"eng"}]},{"date_updated":"2022-01-06T06:54:23Z","status":"public","year":"2020","title":"Plurality Consensus in Hybrid Networks","author":[{"first_name":"Paresh Kishor","last_name":"Yeole","full_name":"Yeole, Paresh Kishor"}],"user_id":"15504","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"_id":"20221","project":[{"_id":"1","name":"SFB 901"},{"name":"SFB 901 - Project Area A","_id":"2"},{"_id":"5","name":"SFB 901 - Subproject A1"}],"supervisor":[{"full_name":"Scheideler, Christian","first_name":"Christian","last_name":"Scheideler","id":"20792"}],"citation":{"ama":"Yeole PK. <i>Plurality Consensus in Hybrid Networks</i>.; 2020.","bibtex":"@book{Yeole_2020, title={Plurality Consensus in Hybrid Networks}, author={Yeole, Paresh Kishor}, year={2020} }","mla":"Yeole, Paresh Kishor. <i>Plurality Consensus in Hybrid Networks</i>. 2020.","chicago":"Yeole, Paresh Kishor. <i>Plurality Consensus in Hybrid Networks</i>, 2020.","short":"P.K. Previous studies demonstrate both the pervasiveness of social evaluation processes in native and non-native speaker interactions and the impact of learners’ beliefs about pronunciation on their learning and communicative behavior. Adding to these strands of research, this project sheds light on how learners perceive evaluative reactions to their accents by native speakers and the relationship between such evaluations and learners’ reported evaluative, emotional and behavioral responses. The study draws on 8 international students at a German university. The data were collected in semi-structured interviews and analyzed within the framework of qualitative content analysis. The results give insight into conditions and strategies that may support learners in establishing constructive interpretations of the effects of their accents on their social acceptance."}],"issue":"2","publication":"Fremdsprachen Lehren und Lernen","department":[{"_id":"468"}],"type":"journal_article","date_created":"2021-12-07T12:36:20Z","article_type":"original","intvolume":" 49","publication_status":"published","date_updated":"2022-01-06T06:58:02Z","author":[{"full_name":"Müller, Mareike","last_name":"Müller","first_name":"Mareike","id":"71540"},{"full_name":"Settinieri, Julia","first_name":"Julia","last_name":"Settinieri"}],"title":"\"Solange dieser Mann gut Deutsch sprechen kann, ist auch kein Problem...\": Evaluative Reaktionen auf einen L2-Akzent aus Sicht von Sprecher*innen","year":"2020","doi":"10.2357/FLuL-2020-0018","language":[{"iso":"ger"}],"citation":{"short":"M. Since dietary habits are acquired during early life, describing age and time trends of flavonoid intake and major food sources are important for monitoring and disease prevention in later life. We aimed to describe total flavonoid intake and food sources and to investigate age and time trends of flavonoid intake in 3–18-year-olds, from the Dortmund Nutritional and Anthropometric Longitudinally Designed study from 1985 to 2016. Intake was assessed annually using 3-d weighed food records (WFR). Flavonoid values were assigned using the United States Department of Agriculture database. Foods contributing to intake were determined. Age and time trends in total flavonoid and isoflavone density were analysed by sex with PROC MIXED. In total, 1312 children completed 10 758 WFR. Across all ages, daily mean total flavonoid density was lower in boys compared with girls (134 v. 146 mg/4184 kJ) and no difference in median isoflavone density (0·04 mg/4184 kJ per d) was found. The top five foods contributing to total flavonoid intake were apple with peel (15·0/17·1 %), strawberries (5·9/6·1 %), chocolate spread (3·9/3·5 %), orange juice (3·5/3·4 %) and pasta (3·5/3·4 %) for boys and girls, respectively. Overall, in boys, total flavonoid density decreased over the course of age and time. In girls, there was no association with age or time. In both sexes, isoflavone density followed a U-shaped age trend with no change over time. From a public health perspective, the overall observed downwards trend of flavonoid intake in boys deserves attention. Future initiatives should be tailored at maintaining a high flavonoid density as children age, specifically among boys.
"}]},{"page":"1280-1299","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"_id":"27051","publisher":"SIAM","user_id":"15504","doi":"10.1137/1.9781611975994.78","editor":[{"last_name":"Chawla","first_name":"Shuchi","full_name":"Chawla, Shuchi"}],"title":"Shortest Paths in a Hybrid Network Model","year":"2020","status":"public","author":[{"last_name":"Augustine","first_name":"John","full_name":"Augustine, John"},{"full_name":"Hinnenthal, Kristian","last_name":"Hinnenthal","first_name":"Kristian","id":"32229"},{"full_name":"Kuhn, Fabian","last_name":"Kuhn","first_name":"Fabian"},{"full_name":"Scheideler, Christian","first_name":"Christian","last_name":"Scheideler","id":"20792"},{"full_name":"Schneider, Philipp","last_name":"Schneider","first_name":"Philipp"}],"date_updated":"2022-01-06T06:57:33Z","date_created":"2021-11-02T10:01:42Z","type":"conference","publication":"Proceedings of the 2020 ACM-SIAM Symposium on Discrete Algorithms, SODA 2020, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, January 5-8, 2020","citation":{"bibtex":"@inproceedings{Augustine_Hinnenthal_Kuhn_Scheideler_Schneider_2020, title={Shortest Paths in a Hybrid Network Model}, DOI={<a href=\"https://doi.org/10.1137/1.9781611975994.78\">10.1137/1.9781611975994.78</a>}, booktitle={Proceedings of the 2020 ACM-SIAM Symposium on Discrete Algorithms, SODA 2020, Salt Lake City, UT, USA, January 5-8, 2020}, publisher={SIAM}, author={Augustine, John and Hinnenthal, Kristian and Kuhn, Fabian and Scheideler, Christian and Schneider, Philipp}, editor={Chawla, Shuchi}, year={2020}, pages={1280–1299} }","ama":"Augustine J, Hinnenthal K, Kuhn F, Scheideler C, Schneider P. In terms of age trends, TS intake decreased with increasing age. However, self-reported sugar intake in epidemiological studies is criticised, as it may be prone to bias due to selective underreporting. Furthermore, adolescents are more susceptible to underreporting than children. We thus analysed time and age trends in urinary fructose excretion (FE), sucrose excretion (SE) and the sum of both (FE + SE) as biomarkers for sugar intake among 8·5–16·5-year-old adolescents. Urinary sugar excretion was measured by UPLC-MS/MS in 997 24-h urine samples collected from 239 boys and 253 girls participating in the Dortmund Nutritional and Anthropometric Longitudinally Designed (DONALD) study cohort between 1990 and 2016. Time and age trends of log-transformed FE, SE and FE + SE were analysed using polynomial mixed-effects regression models. Between 1990 and 2016, FE as well as FE + SE decreased (linear time trend: P = 0·0272 and P &lt; 0·0001, respectively). A minor increase in excretion during adolescence was confined to FE (linear age trend: P = 0·0017). The present 24-h excretion measurements support a previously reported dietary record-based decline in sugar intake since 2005. However, the previously seen dietary record-based decrease in TS from childhood to late adolescence was not confirmed by our biomarker analysis, suggesting a constant sugar intake for the period of adolescence.
","lang":"eng"}],"date_created":"2021-11-25T12:13:11Z","department":[{"_id":"17"},{"_id":"22"},{"_id":"571"}],"type":"journal_article"},{"user_id":"50923","language":[{"iso":"ger"}],"_id":"27834","page":"11-14","date_updated":"2022-01-06T06:57:46Z","author":[{"full_name":"Drossel, Kerstin","last_name":"Drossel","first_name":"Kerstin","id":"48921"},{"full_name":"Heldt, Melanie","first_name":"Melanie","last_name":"Heldt"}],"status":"public","title":"Medienbezogene Lehrerkooperation.
