In this work, we demonstrate that polycrystalline MAPbI<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>s undergo drastic changes in optical properties at moderate field strengths with an ultrafast response time, via transient Wannier Stark localization. The distinct band structure of this material - the large lattice periodicity, the narrow electronic energy bandwidths, and the coincidence of these two along the same high-symmetry direction – enables relatively weak fields to bring this material into the Wannier Stark regime. Its polycrystalline nature is not detrimental to the optical switching performance of the material, since the least dispersive direction of the band structure dominates the contribution to the optical response, which favors low-cost fabrication. Together with the outstanding photophysical properties of MAPbI<jats:sub>3</jats:sub>, this finding highlights the great potential of this material in ultrafast light modulation and novel photonic applications.</jats:p>"}],"status":"public"},{"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"article_type":"original","user_id":"23547","department":[{"_id":"2"},{"_id":"307"}],"_id":"25892","status":"public","abstract":[{"text":"The tetratopic linker 1,1,2,2-tetrakis(4-phosphonophenyl)ethylene (H8TPPE) was used to synthesize the three new porous metal–organic frameworks of composition [M2(H2O)2(H2TPPE)]·xH2O (M = Al3+, Ga3+, Fe3+), denoted as M-CAU-53 under hydrothermal reaction conditions, using the corresponding metal nitrates as starting materials. The crystal structures of the compounds were determined ab initio from powder X-ray diffraction data, revealing small structural differences. Proton conductivity measurements were carried out, indicating different conductivity mechanisms. The differences in proton conductivity could be linked to the individual structures. Although changes in theta (4–8 Hz) and alpha frequency power (8–12 Hz) were shown to reflect attentional and sensorimotor processing during balance tasks, information about the effect of stance leg on cortical processing related to postural control is lacking. Therefore, the aim was to examine patterns of cortical activity during single-leg stance with varying surface stability. EEG and force plate data from 21 healthy males (22.43 ± 2.23 years) was recorded during unipedal stance (left/right) on a stable and unstable surface. Using source-space analysis, power spectral density was analyzed in the theta, alpha-1 (8–10 Hz) and alpha-2 (10–12 Hz) frequency bands. Repeated measures ANOVA with the factors leg and surface stability revealed significant interaction effects in the left (<jats:italic>p</jats:italic> = 0.045, <jats:italic>η</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>p</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup>2</jats:sup> = 0.13) and right motor clusters (<jats:italic>F</jats:italic> = 16.156; <jats:italic>p</jats:italic> = 0.001, <jats:italic>η</jats:italic><jats:sub><jats:italic>p</jats:italic></jats:sub><jats:sup>2</jats:sup> = 0.41). Furthermore, significant main effects for surface stability were observed for the fronto-central cluster (theta), left and right motor (alpha-1), as well as for the right parieto-occipital cluster (alpha-1/alpha-2). Leg dependent changes in alpha-2 power may indicate lateralized patterns of cortical processing in motor areas during single-leg stance. Under some technical assumptions, we give an algorithm to span the isomorphism classes of principally polarized abelian varieties in the isogeny class of E⁹ . The varieties are first described as hermitian lattices over (not necessarily maximal) quadratic orders and then geometrically in terms of their algebraic theta null point. We also show how to algebraically compute Siegel modular forms of even weight given as polynomials in the theta constants by a careful choice of an affine lift of the theta null point. We then use these results to give an algebraic computation of Serre’s obstruction for principally polarized abelian threefolds isogenous to E³ and of the Igusa modular form in dimension 4. We illustrate our algorithms with examples of curves with many rational points over finite fields. For early education, increasingly, the setting of a kindergarten is targeted. However, when cHRI and research are brought into a kindergarten, a range of ethical and related procedural aspects have to be considered and dealt with. While ethical models elaborated within other human–robot interaction settings, e.g., assisted living contexts, can provide some important indicators for relevant issues, we argue that it is important to start developing a systematic approach to identify and tackle those ethical issues which rise with cHRI in kindergarten settings on a more global level and address the impact of the technology from a macroperspective beyond the effects on the individual. Based on our experience in conducting studies with children in general and pedagogical considerations on the role of the institution of kindergarten in specific, in this paper, we enfold some relevant aspects that have barely been addressed in an explicit way in current cHRI research. Four areas are analyzed and key ethical issues are identified in each area: (1) the institutional setting of a kindergarten, (2) children as a vulnerable group, (3) the caregivers’ role, and (4) pedagogical concepts. Im Beitrag werden deskriptive Befunde aus dem Projekt BiFoKi (Bielefelder Fortbildungskonzept zur Kooperation in inklusiven Schulen) zu den Zuständigkeiten von allgemeinen (N = 170) und sonderpädagogischen Lehrkräften (N = 24) sowie Schulsozial­arbeiterinnen (N = 11) an inklusiven Sekundar-­ und Gesamtschulen präsentiert. Sie deuten auf eine Persistenz traditioneller Rollenmuster und Aufgabenverteilungen hin. Bei den befragten sonderpädagogischen Lehrkräften können zwei unterschiedliche Rollenmuster herausgearbeitet werden. However, the distribution of tasks that goes beyond the cooperation of teachers and special edu­cators in the classroom has rarely been investigated systematically. This article presents preliminary find­ings from the BiFoKi project (Bielefeld Training on Co­ operation in inclusive Schools) on the responsibilities of general teachers (N = 170), special educators (N = 24) and school social workers (N = 11) in inclusive secondary and comprehensive schools. They indicate the persistence of traditional role patterns and task distributions between these three groups. Two different roles of special educators can be identified. Currently, no literature study contains a systematic differentiation and evaluation of existing approaches, which is a prerequisite for practitioners to select a suitable approach. This research aims at defining differentiation criteria as well as generally applicable requirements for evaluation. A four-step approach is used: systematic literature review on approaches for impact analysis of engineering changes (1), categorization and prioritization of approaches based on reoccuring elements (2), derivation of context specific requirements for evaluation (3), and evaluation of approaches (4). Besides conventional methods of inserting Trojans into a design by a malicious entity, the design flow for field-programmable gate arrays (FPGAs) can also be surreptitiously compromised to assist the attacker to perform a successful malfunctioning or information leakage attack. The advanced stealthy malicious look-up-table (LUT) attack activates a Trojan only when generating the FPGA bitstream and can thus not be detected by register transfer and gate level testing and verification. However, also this attack was recently revealed by a bitstream-level proof-carrying hardware (PCH) approach. In this paper, we present a novel attack that leverages malicious routing of the inserted Trojan circuit to acquire a dormant state even in the generated and transmitted bitstream. The Trojan's payload is connected to primary inputs/outputs of the FPGA via a programmable interconnect point (PIP). The Trojan is detached from inputs/outputs during place-and-route and re-connected only when the FPGA is being programmed, thus activating the Trojan circuit without any need for a trigger logic.
