Therefore, bond experiments with different bond tool grove geometries have been conducted for copper and aluminum wire on direct copper bonded (DCB) substrates to investigate the impact of geometric parameters on bond formation and bond quality. The wire material depending impact of geometry changes on the bond formation and deformation was quantified. Additionally, a bonding parameter design of experiments (DOE) has been conducted for the reference and the most promising groove geometry. Higher shear values were achieved at reduced vertical tool displacement for most bonding parameter combinations, compared to the reference tool. This behavior allows for reducing ultrasonic power to obtain equal shear values; consequently, mechanical stresses in the interface decrease. A challenge is how to relate theoretical-combinatorial aspects to empirical frequency aspects, given that fraction concepts are usually not available at primary school. In the frame of a Design Based Research approach we have designed and realized a teaching sequence consisting of seven lessons to develop statistical reasoning about uncertainty of grade 4 students (age 10-11). To supervise their learning processes we collected data on different levels: (a) written pre/post-tests, (b) working notes after each lesson and (c) interviews after the teaching unit. A high frequency oscillation causes a metallurgical bond deformation in\r\nthe contact area. Due to the numerous physical influencing factors, it is very difficult to accurately capture\r\nthis process in a model. Therefore, our goal is to determine a suitable feed-forward control strategy for the\r\nbonding process even without detailed model knowledge. We propose the use of batch constrained Bayesian\r\noptimization for the control design. Hence, Bayesian optimization is precisely adapted to the application of\r\nbonding: the constraint is used to check one quality feature of the process and the use of batches leads to\r\nmore efficient experiments. Our approach is suitable to determine a feed-forward control for the bonding\r\nprocess that provides very high quality bonds without using a physical model. We also show that the quality\r\nof the Bayesian optimization based control outperforms random search as well as manual search by a user.\r\nUsing a simple prior knowledge model derived from data further improves the quality of the connection.\r\nThe Bayesian optimization approach offers the possibility to perform a sensitivity analysis of the control\r\nparameters, which allows to evaluate the influence of each control parameter on the bond quality. Dafür müssen die Fachkräfte in der Lage sein, den Lernstand der Kinder adäquat einzuschätzen. Die hier berichtete Studie analysiert die Genauigkeit von Einschätzungen frühpädagogischer Fachkräfte (<jats:italic>N</jats:italic> = 49) von Leistungen vier- bis sechsjähriger Kinder (<jats:italic>N</jats:italic> = 160) in 17 Items im Bereich Mengen und Zahlen. Zur Aufklärung von Varianz in der Einschätzungsgenauigkeit wurden das Geschlecht, der sozioökonomische Status und die mathematische Leistung der Kinder im Bereich Mengen und Zahlen sowie das mathematikdidaktische Wissen der Fachkräfte als mögliche Merkmale erhoben. Es zeigte sich im Schnitt eine mäßige Einschätzungsgenauigkeit mit einer leichten Tendenz zur Überschätzung der Leistungen. Als einziges einflussnehmendes Merkmal auf die Einschätzungsgenauigkeit stellte sich in dieser Untersuchung die Leistung der Kinder im Bereich Mengen und Zahlen heraus: Die Einschätzung der frühpädagogischen Fachkräfte war genauer, wenn die Kinder bessere mathematische Fähigkeiten zeigten. Frühe mathematische Kompetenzen entwickeln sich u.a. in der Auseinandersetzung mit Fragestellungen, die sich im Alltag ergeben. Dabei begleiten Eltern als primäre Bezugspersonen den Großteil der frühen mathematischen Entwicklung. Bedeutend ist dabei die Fähigkeit von Eltern, mathematische Kompetenzen ihrer Kinder einschätzen zu können. Auf dieser Basis können sie mit ihren Kindern adäquat interagieren und mathematische Lerngelegenheiten ermöglichen. Ziel dieser Studie ist es, zu untersuchen, wie genau Eltern die frühen mathematischen Kompetenzen ihrer Kinder einschätzen und wovon die Genauigkeit der Einschätzung abhängt. Dazu wurden Daten von 131 Kindern im Alter von 4 bis 6 Jahren und ihren Eltern erhoben und analysiert. Es zeigte sich eine mittlere bis gute Genauigkeit in der elterlichen Einschätzung. Neben der tatsächlichen Leistung des Kindes nahmen der sozioökonomische Status (SES) der Familie und das Geschlecht des Kindes Einfluss auf die elterliche Einschätzungsgenauigkeit. Of particular interest is the behavior of the magnetization, which counts the number of colors appearing in the distinct blocks. We prove central limit theorems for the magnetization in the generalized high-temperature regime and provide a moderate deviation principle for its fluctuations on lower scalings. More precisely, the magnetization concentrates around the uniform vector of all colors with an explicit, but singular, Gaussian distribution. Massive economic as well as social distress caused worldwide devastation. Closed working sites and vocational schools, as well as working sites, which remained open due to their systemic relevance, led to so far unknown challenges in Germany’s vocational education system. A very good example are the dual apprenticeships, such as trained retail salesman, which were only partially affected by closures. The main goal of education policy was to compensate personal communication and interaction via digital media. Medical students often have problems with Bayesian reasoning situations. Representing statistical information as natural frequencies (instead of probabilities) and visualizing them (e.g., with double-trees or net diagrams) leads to higher accuracy in solving these tasks. However, double-trees and net diagrams (which already contain the correct solution of the task, so that the solution could be read of the diagrams) have not yet been studied in medical education. This study examined the influence of information format (probabilities v. frequencies) and visualization (double-tree v. net diagram) on the accuracy and speed of Bayesian judgments. Methods. A total of 142 medical students at different university medical schools (Munich, Kiel, Goettingen, Erlangen, Nuremberg, Berlin, Regensburg) in Germany predicted posterior probabilities in 4 different medical Bayesian reasoning tasks, resulting in a 3-factorial 2 × 2 × 4 design. The diagnostic efficiency for the different versions was represented as the median time divided by the percentage of correct inferences. Results. Frequency visualizations led to a significantly higher accuracy and faster judgments than did probability visualizations. Participants solved 80% of the tasks correctly in the frequency double-tree and the frequency net diagram. Visualizations with probabilities also led to relatively high performance rates: 73% in the probability double-tree and 70% in the probability net diagram. The median time for a correct inference was fastest with the frequency double tree (2:08 min) followed by the frequency net diagram and the probability double-tree (both 2:26 min) and probability net diagram (2:33 min). The type of visualization did not result in a significant difference. Discussion. Frequency double-trees and frequency net diagrams help answer Bayesian tasks more accurately and also more quickly than the respective probability visualizations. Surprisingly, the effect of information format (probabilities v. frequencies) on performance was higher in previous studies: medical students seem also quite capable of identifying the correct solution to the Bayesian task, among other probabilities in the probability visualizations. </jats:p><jats:sec><jats:title>Highlights</jats:title><jats:p> Frequency double-trees and frequency nets help answer Bayesian tasks not only more accurately but also more quickly than the respective probability visualizations. The as-obtained material allows the immobilization of chiral dirhodium catalysts preserving their enantioselectivity in asymmetric cyclopropanation reactions. As model, microcrystalline cellulose is modified with a polyethylene glycol derived linker, and Rh-2(S-DOSP)(4) is grafted on the material to produce a heterogeneous catalyst. SEM images at different stages of the immobilization show an unchanging uniform morphology, providing constantly good separation characteristics. The modification of the cellulose material with the polyethylene derived linker and the immobilization process are monitored using DNP enhanced H-1 -{\\textgreater} C-13 CP MAS NMR, quantitative F-19 MAS NMR, TGA and ICP-OES analysis, confirming the success of the immobilization as well as the stability of bonds between the used linker molecule and the cellulose material. The fact that the cluster core of [Nb6Cl16(H2O)2]Â·4 dioxane is oxidized but still carries water ligands indicates that within the multi-step reaction sequence of the formation of the cluster-supported acids, the oxidation step happens much faster than the ligand exchange steps.
