In combination with additive manufacturing, which facilitates great flexibility of the implant design, it is possible to selectively adjust the microstructure of the material in the process, thereby control the corrosion and fatigue behavior. In the present study, conventional hot-rolled (HR) pure iron is compared to pure iron manufactured by electron beam melting (EBM). The microstructure, the corrosion behavior and the fatigue properties were studied comprehensively. The investigated sample conditions showed significant differences in the microstructures that led to changes in corrosion and fatigue properties. The EBM iron showed significantly lower fatigue strength compared to the HR iron. In particular, graphitic carbon nitride g‐C3N4 has been investigated extensively in the past decade. However, the family of carbon nitrides is not limited to C3N4 and new CXNY are now being explored due to their different bandgap energy, morphology, and overall physicochemical properties. Here, homogenous and semi‐transparent C1N1 thin films are fabricated using guanine as a nontoxic molecular precursor. They are synthesized in a simplified chemical vapor deposition process on top of fused silica and fluorine doped tin oxide coated glass substrates. The chemical and structural studies reveal that C/N ratio is close to target 1, triazine vibrations are visible in vibrational spectra and stacking of the film is observed from glancing incidence X‐ray diffraction data. The (photo)electrochemical properties are studied, the film is a p‐type semiconductor with a good photoresponse to visible light and a suitable catalyst for hydrogen evolution reaction. We refer to the method Extended Dynamic Mode Decomposition (EDMD), which approximates a nonlinear dynamical system as a linear model. This makes the method ideal for control engineering applications, because a linear system description is often assumed for this purpose. Using academic examples, we simulatively analyze the prediction performance of the learned EDMD models and show how relevant system properties like stability, controllability, and observability are reflected by the EDMD model, which is a critical requirement for a successful control design process. Subsequently, we present our experimental results on a mechatronic test bench and evaluate the applicability to the control engineering design process. In this model, active robots move on a set of passive tiles, called configuration, with the geometric shape of rhombic dodecahedra on the adjacency graph of the face-centered cubic sphere-packing. We show that the exploration problem is equally hard in the hybrid model and in three-dimensional mazes, in which tiles have the shape of cubes and are positioned at the vertices of $\mathbb{Z}^3$. Thereby, a single robot with a constant number of pebbles cannot solve this problem in the hybrid model on arbitrary configurations. We provide algorithms for a robot with two pebbles that solve the exploration problem in the subclass of compact configurations of size $n$ in $\O(n^3)$ rounds. Further, we investigate the robot's capabilities of detection and hull construction in terms of restricted orientation convexity. We show that a robot without any pebble can detect strong $\O$-convexity in $\O(n)$ rounds, but cannot detect weak $\O$-convexity, not even if provided with a single pebble. In this paper, we show that deep reinforcement learning (RL) can be used to efficiently learn flow scheduling policies for different workloads without manual feature engineering. Specifically, we present LFS, which learns to optimize a high-level performance objective, e.g., maximize the number of flow admissions while meeting the deadlines. The LFS scheduler is trained through deep RL to learn a scheduling policy on continuous online flow arrivals. Wie Grundschulen den Übergang zur weiterführenden Schule gestalten, wurde bislang jedoch kaum erforscht. Auf Basis des Forschungsstands werden relevante Maßnahmen identifiziert. In einer online-Befragung an 106 Grundschulen in Nordrhein-Westfalen wurde erfasst, inwiefern diese Maßnahmen tatsächlich umgesetzt werden und als wie relevant bzw. schwierig ihre Umsetzung erachtet wird. Die Ergebnisse werden verglichen mit Daten einer Studie, die 2002 an 71 Grundschulen durchgeführt wurde. Es zeigt sich eine hohe Stabilität der Gestaltung in den letzten 15 Jahren.
