Despite the already widespread use of the process, there is still a need for research to understand the mechanisms and design of clinched joints. In contrast to the tool parameters, process and material disturbances have not yet been investigated to a relatively large extent. However, these also have a great influence on the properties and applicability of clinching. The effect of process disturbances on the clinched joint are investigated with numerical and experimental methods. The investigated process variations are the history of the sheets using the pre-hardening of the material, different sheet thicknesses, sheet arrangements and punch strokes. For the consideration of the material history, a specimen geometry for pre-stretching specimens in uniaxial tension is used, from which the pre-stretched secondary specimens are taken. A finite element model is set up for the numerical investigations. Suitable clinching tools are selected. With the simulation, selected process influences can be examined. The effort of the numerical investigations is considerably reduced with the help of a statistical experimental design according to Taguchi. To confirm the simulation results, experimental investigations of the clinch point geometry by using micrographs and the shear strength of the clinched joint are performed. Die Maßnahmen zur Eindämmung der Corona-Pandemie verändern nicht nur den Schulalltag, sondern haben auch Einfluss auf die Kompetenzentwicklung angehender Lehrkräfte im Vorbereitungsdienst, die ihre Berufsausbildung unter veränderten Rahmenbedingungen durchführen müssen. Die aktuellen Rahmenbedingungen können u. a. aufgrund fehlender bzw. eingeschränkter Praxiserfahrungen eine reguläre Ausbildung erschweren, was zu einem erhöhten Belastungsempfinden der angehenden Lehrkräfte beitragen kann. In diesem Beitrag wird Bezug genommen auf Daten einer explorativen Interviewstudie mit Lehramtsanwärterinnen und -anwärtern aus Nordrhein-Westfalen (N = 19), die während der Pandemie im Jahr 2020 ihren Vorbereitungsdienst absolviert haben. While knowledge is acquired during studies, the preparatory service, which takes place predominantly in schools, serves to acquire practical competencies, which include reference to theoretical knowledge and the development of experience-based knowledge. The measures to contain the corona pandemic not only change everyday school life but also have an impact on the competence development of prospective teachers in preparatory service, who have to carry out their professional training under changed boundary conditions. Among other things, the current boundary conditions can make regular training more difficult due to a lack of or limited practical experience, which then can contribute to an increased feeling of stress among prospective teachers. This article refers to data from an explorative interview study with prospective teachers from North Rhine-Westphalia (N = 19) who completed their preparatory service during the pandemic in the year 2020. Digitally supported instructional settings seem to be an important way to continue learning and development processes (e.g., of students, prospective teachers) despite physical distance in both schools and universities since the first lockdown. This paper elaborates on the opportunities and limitations of forced digitization in university teaching on the development of digitizationrelated competencies in prospective teachers. Diese Omnipräsenz digitaler Technologien im menschlichen Alltag macht digitalisierungsbezogene Kompetenzen zu einer Voraussetzung für eine selbstbestimmte gesellschaftliche Teilhabe und ist somit auch eine zentrale Zielperspektive schulischer Bildungs- und Erziehungsprozesse. Lehrkräfte, die Schüler*innen auf das Arbeiten und Leben in einer digital vernetzten Welt vorbereiten sollen, stehen deshalb vor einer doppelten Herausforderung: einerseits – wie jeder Mensch – sich selbst angesichts der Digitalisierung zurecht zu finden und entsprechende Medienkompetenzen auszubilden und andererseits medienpädagogische und digitalisierungsbezogene Kompetenzen zu entwickeln, um Lerngelegenheiten für den Unterricht konzipieren und bereitstellen zu können, die Schüler*innen den Erwerb von Medienkompetenzen ermöglichen. Die Lehrer*innenbildung in Deutschland umfasst drei Phasen: Studium, Vorbereitungsdienst und Fort- und Weiterbildung. Digitalisierungsbezogene Kompetenzen sollen angehende Lehrkräfte schon im Studium erwerben und in den anschließenden Phasen weiterentwickeln. In diesem Beitrag werden zunächst Merkmale einer digital vernetzten Welt als Ausgangs- und Bezugsunkte für Lern- und Bildungsprozesse beschrieben (Kap. 2). Daran anschließend werden Kompetenzbereiche erläutert, denen auf dieser Grundlage ein hoher Stellenwert zukommt (Kap. 3). Nach der Herleitung der Forschungsfrage (Kap. 4) und der Beschreibung der Methode (Kap. 5) werden exemplarische Ergebnisse einer Inhaltsanalyse von Studienordnungen nordrhein-westfälischer Lehramtsstudiengänge dargestellt (Kap. 6) und diskutiert (Kap. 7). Based on automated text mining and unsupervised machine learning, we collect, analyze, and interpret the IS discipline’s comprehensive research on platforms—comprising 11,049 papers spanning 44 years of research activity. From a cluster analysis concerning platform concepts’ semantically most similar words, we identify six research streams on platforms, each with their own platform terms. Based on interpreting the identified concepts vis-à-vis the extant research and considering a temporal perspective on the concepts’ application, we present a lexicon of platform concepts, to guide further research on platforms in the IS discipline. IEEE, 2022."},"publication":"24th European Conference on Power Electronics and Applications (EPE'22 ECCE Europe)","abstract":[{"text":"Cascaded H-bridge Converters (CHBs) are a promising solution in converting power from a three-phase medium voltage of 6.6 kV...30 kV to a lower DC-voltage in the range of 100 V...1 kV to provide pure DC power to applications such as electrolyzers for hydrogen generation, data centers with a DC power distribution and DC microgrids. CHBs can be interpreted as modular multilevel converters with an isolated DC-DC output stage per module, require a large DC-link capacitor for each module to handle the second harmonic voltage ripple caused by the fluctuating input power within a fundamental grid period. Without a zero-sequence voltage injection, star-connected CHBs are operated with approximately sinusoidal arm voltages and currents. The floating star point potential enables to utilize different zero-sequence voltage injection techniques such as a third-harmonic injection with 1/6 of the grid voltage amplitude or a Min-Max voltage injection. Both well-known methods have the advantage to reduce the peak arm voltage and thereby the number of required modules by 13.4 % (to √ 3 2). This paper proves analytically that the third-harmonic injection with 1/6 of the grid voltage amplitude reduces the second harmonic voltage ripple by only 15.1 % compared to no-voltage injection for unity power factor operation and balanced grid voltages. Then it is shown, that the Min-Max injection has the often overlooked advantage of reducing the second harmonic voltage ripple by even 18.8 %. By applying the here proposed zero-sequence voltage injection in saturation modulation, the second harmonic voltage ripple of the DC-link capacitors is reduced by even 24.3 %, while still requiring the same number of modules as the Min-Max injection.
