Diese Frage steht im Zentrum aktueller Debatten um die Rechte der Natur – und sie stellt zugleich eine besondere Herausforderung für die ästhetische Praxis im Anthropozän dar.\r\nDer Aufsatz untersucht, welchen spezifischen Beitrag Environmental Sound Art zu gegenwärtigen umweltpolitischen Debatten leisten kann, und nutzt dafür feministische und postkoloniale Theorieansätze als analytisches Werkzeug. Im Zentrum steht dabei die Frage nach der Repräsentationsdynamik zwischen Komponist*in und nichtmenschlichen Subjekten sowie das daraus resultierende Problem der Anwaltschaft. Am Beispiel von Jana Winderens Soundscape-Komposition \"Spring Bloom in the Marginal Ice Zone\" (2017) diskutiert der Aufsatz die Rolle der Komponistin als Anwältin für ein Ökosystem und dessen Bewohner*innen sowie die Grenzen und Möglichkeiten ästhetischer Positionen, nichtmenschlichen Entitäten ›eine Stimme zu verleihen‹. We utilized a dataset of quantum emission signals ranging from 604 to 629 nm, emitted from WS₂ monolayer nanobubbles on gold substrates, categorized into four spectral bands (604.06–608.24 nm, 611.07–616.34 nm, 617.42–623.35 nm, and 624.16–636.57 nm). Our methodology involved signal preprocessing through normalization and moving average smoothing, followed by transformation into 128 × 128 RGB images using Continuous Wavelet Transform (CWT) with Complex Morlet wavelet. Three convolutional neural network architectures (ResNet50, VGG16, and Xception) were implemented and evaluated using fivefold cross-validation across six possible band pair combinations. All models demonstrated exceptional classification performance, with VGG16 achieving the highest overall mean accuracy of 99.4%, followed by Xception (99.1%) and ResNet50 (98.2%). Perfect classification accuracy (100%) was consistently achieved for spectrally distant band pairs, particularly Band 1 versus Band 4 (20.5 nm separation), while the most challenging classification involved adjacent bands (Band 2 vs. Band 3, 6.27 nm separation) with VGG16 achieving 96.5% accuracy. Statistical analysis using Friedman tests confirmed significant performance differences among models (χ\r\n                    <jats:sup>2</jats:sup>\r\n                     = 8.67,\r\n                    <jats:italic>p</jats:italic>\r\n                     = 0.013). Xception demonstrated remarkable computational efficiency, achieving optimal convergence in as few as 2 epochs for certain band combinations while maintaining ultralow training loss values (8.23 × 10⁻\r\n                    <jats:sup>6</jats:sup>\r\n                    ). Deep learning models, particularly when combined with CWT preprocessing, provide a robust framework for quantum emission signal classification with significant implications for quantum photonics, quantum cryptography, and quantum sensing applications. Our approach bridges the gap between classical machine learning and quantum materials characterization, establishing quantifiable metrics for evaluating spectral distinguishability in quantum information systems. The main problem is that direct measurement, from both quantitative and qualitative point of view is challenging. While there are methods to assess solution strength and wettability of ionic liquids with cellulose materials, the main challenge lies in the combination of a solid substrate and an applied liquid, limiting the number of accessible methods. We demonstrate in this paper that an in-situ solid-state NMR spectroscopical approach is capable of monitoring in real-time the mobility of ionic liquids in cellulose-based substrates. Specifically, we employ 1H → 13C cross polarization magic angle spinning (CP MAS) NMR spectroscopy to examine mobility changes over varying exposure times in paper samples treated with ionic liquids. Through this approach, we capture the temporal evolution of IL signals, which in turn provide insights into mobility changes of ILs and also allow for identifying changes in cellulose crystallinity. Several diagnostics were employed to characterize the spray and nanoparticles. \r\nIncreasing DG flow (6 - 12 slm) results in smaller droplet sizes (DS), cooler flame temperatures, shorter high-temperature droplet/particle residence times, and smaller agglomerates in the size range of 5 - 12 nm with narrower primary particle size distribution, corresponding to higher mass fractal dimensions, as supported by TEM and SMPS analysis, resulting in more compact agglomerates. BET and TEM confirmed decreasing primary particle sizes with increasing DG flow. Raman and XRD analyses predominantly identified maghemite, which shows a bimodal distribution of crystallite sizes, while SS1 samples have a greater proportion of larger crystallites.\r\nThe self-preserving size distributions of agglomerates with a geometric standard deviation of 1.5 are reached faster with increasing DG flow. The barrier effect of DG observed in SS1 leads to slower droplet combustion kinetics, higher temperatures, and delayed precursor release, which, along with downstream flow recirculation, result in significantly higher agglomeration rates outside the visible flame. SS2 demonstrates improved atomization, more stable flames, and finer, uniform nanoparticles with less carbonaceous residues (CR). Accurate Finite Element Modeling (FEM) of joints is essential in the design of complex mechanical systems such as automotive body-in-white (BIW) structures, as it plays a critical role in evaluating their performance. Although well-established techniques exist for modeling rotationally symmetric joints, there remains a significant gap in effectively modeling non-rotationally symmetric joints. These joints are particularly relevant in the automotive BIW, where they can better accommodate anisotropic loading conditions. In this study, strategies for modeling non-rotationally symmetric joints were explored using finite element simulations in LS-DYNA. The findings demonstrate that discrete beam elements can capture the anisotropic characteristics of such joints. Two models were tested: a single-beam model for stiffness periodicity every 90°, and a three-beam model for stiffness periodicity every 120°. Force responses, stress distribution, and sheet bending behaviors were analyzed, confirming that discrete beam elements can accurately represent direction-dependent stiffness. This is partly due to missing powerful lead-free piezoelectric ceramic parts in the commercial market. There has been much research on lead-free materials but developing them into marketable parts seems to be an ongoing process. The actual exemption of ROHS has expired, but as the new exemption has already been requested, ceramic suppliers keep on selling lead containing products. Nevertheless, these should be replaced by lead-free alternatives for environmental and health issues. \r\nThis contribution focuses on exploring the technological readiness level of lead-free hard piezoceramics for prestressed ultrasonic transducers. A small series of bolted Langevin transducers was set up with standard PZT material and three commercial lead-free variants. Results of the building process from individual ring ceramic characteristics to transducer load tests are presented. The main finding of this study is that the lead-free materials technically can compete with the standard PZT for medium-power applications. Some adaptations in the ultrasonic system must be done: the geometry must be altered to fit resonance frequency, and higher voltages or thinner ceramics are needed to achieve the same vibration level at low load. For reaching same power, the volume of lead-free ceramics must be 1.5 to 3 times larger. As already promoted in literature, mechanical losses at high vibration levels are smaller for the lead-free materials. However, the success of techniques depends on various parameters, such as the task, language model, and context provided. Finding an effective prompt is, therefore, often a trial-and-error process. Most existing approaches to automatic prompting aim to optimize individual techniques instead of compositions of techniques and their dependence on the input. To fill this gap, we propose an adaptive prompting approach that predicts the optimal prompt composition ad-hoc for a given input. We apply our approach to social bias detection, a highly context-dependent task that requires semantic understanding. We evaluate it with three large language models on three datasets, comparing compositions to individual techniques and other baselines. The results underline the importance of finding an effective prompt composition. Our approach robustly ensures high detection performance, and is best in several settings.
