text: 'Social media plays a significant role in disaster management by providing
valuable data about affected people, donations and help requests. Recent studies
highlight the need to filter information on social media into fine-grained content
labels. However, identifying useful information from massive amounts of social
media posts during a crisis is a challenging task. In this paper, we propose I-AID,
a multimodel approach to automatically categorize tweets into multi-label information
types and filter critical information from the enormous volume of social media
data. I-AID incorporates three main components: i) a BERT- based encoder to capture
the semantics of a tweet and represent as a low-dimensional vector, ii) a graph
attention network (GAT) to apprehend correlations between tweets’ words/entities
and the corresponding information types, and iii) a Relation Network as a learnable
distance metric to compute the similarity between tweets and their corresponding
information types in a supervised way. We conducted several experiments on two
real publicly-available datasets. Our results indicate that I-AID outperforms
state-of- the-art approaches in terms of weighted average F1 score by +6% and
+4% on the TREC-IS dataset and COVID-19 Tweets, respectively.'

  text:
Abstract
Online reviews have profound impacts
on firm success in terms of sales volume and how much customers are willing to
pay, yet firms remain highly dependent on customers’ voluntary contributions.
A popular way to increase the number of online reviews is to use product testing
programs, which offer participants free products in exchange for writing reviews.
Firms that employ this practice generally hope to increase review quality and
secure higher product rating scores. However, a qualitative study, experimental
study, and multilevel analysis of a field study dataset of more than 200,000 online
reviews by product testers combine to reveal that product testing programs do
not necessarily generate higher quality reviews, nor better product ratings. Only
in certain circumstances (e.g., higher priced products) does offering a product
testing program generate these benefits for the firm. Therefore, companies should
consider carefully if and when they want to offer product testing programs.

  text:
The development of motor competencies is necessary for participation
in the culture of sport, exercise, and physical activity, which in turn supports
the development of a healthy lifestyle. A lack of physical activity in childhood
and deficits in motor performance emphasize the relevance of interventions for
promoting basic motor competencies. However, there are research desiderata with
regard to such interventions. This article describes an intervention program for
promoting basic motor competencies in middle childhood (around 6 to 10 years of
age). The intervention was investigated in a longitudinal study from June 2019
    to January 2020 (n = 200; 58% girls, M = 8.84 years, SD = 0.63) at three primary
schools. The intervention was conducted once a week in physical education (PE).
The comparison group participated in regular PE. The intervention showed significant
effects on basic motor competencies in object movement but not in self-movement.
The results demonstrate that positive effects on basic motor competencies can
be achieved with the help of a relatively simple intervention. Further longitudinal
studies are desirable as a means of substantiating the results and developing
evidence-based concepts to support children in their development in the best possible
    way.

text: A novel immobilized chiral dirhodium catalyst, Rh2(S-PTTL)3(S-PTTL-linker)∼SBA-15
(8), has been prepared via click reaction of azide-groups on functionalized SBA-15
with the dirhodium complex Rh2(S-PTTL)3(S-PTTL-alkyne) (6) containing an alkyne
moiety. During the synthesis of this complex, one chiral ligand of the parent
Rh2(S-PTTL)4 catalyst is exchanged with an analogous chiral ligand system containing
an alkyne moiety, which to a great extent maintains the intrinsic catalytic performance
of the catalyst. The heterogeneous dirhodium catalyst is characterized by FT-IR
and 13C solid-state NMR to validate the successful immobilization. The catalytic
performance of the heterogeneous catalyst 8 is investigated in the asymmetric
cyclopropanation of 3-diazooxindole with different aryl alkenes that form spiro-cyclopropyloxindoles
which serve as precursors for pharmaceuticals. The resulting heterogeneous catalyst
shows high catalytic activity and significant enantioselectivity. Importantly,
it can be readily recovered and reused at least four times without significant
    loss of its catalytic performance.

text: A novel specific spin-labeling strategy for bioactive molecules is presented
for eptifibatide (integrilin) an antiplatelet aggregation inhibitor, which derives
from the venom of certain rattlesnakes. By specifically labeling the disulfide
bridge this molecule becomes accessible for analytical techniques such as Electron
Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) and solid state Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP).
The necessary spin-label was synthesized and inserted into the disulfide bridge
of eptifibatide via reductive followed by insertion by a double Michael addition
under physiological conditions. This procedure is universally applicable for disulfide
containing biomolecules and is expected to preserve their tertiary structure with
minimal change due to the small size of the label and restoring of the previous
disulfide connection. HPLC and MS analysis show the successful introduction of
the spin label and EPR spectroscopy confirms its activity. DNP-enhanced solid
state NMR experiments show signal enhancement factors of up to 19 in 13C CP MAS
experiments which corresponds to time saving factors of up to 361. This clearly
shows the high potential of our new spin labeling strategy for the introduction
of site selective radical spin labels into biomolecules and biosolids without
compromising its conformational integrity for structural investigations employing
solid-state DNP or advanced EPR techniques.

text: We demonstrate an optical arbitrary waveform measurement (OAWM) system that
exploits a bank of silicon photonic (SiP) frequency-tunable coupled-resonator
optical waveguide (CROW) filters for gapless spectral slicing of broadband optical
signals. The spectral slices are coherently detected using a frequency comb as
a multi-wavelength local oscillator (LO) and stitched together by digital signal
processing (DSP). For high-quality signal reconstruction, we have implemented
a maximum-ratio combining (MRC) technique based on precise calibration of the
complex-valued opto-electronic transfer functions of all detection paths. In a
proof-of-concept experiment, we demonstrate the viability of the scheme by implementing
a four-channel system that offers an overall detection bandwidth of 140 GHz. Exploiting
a femtosecond laser with precisely known pulse shape for calibration along with
dynamic amplitude and phase estimation, we reconstruct 100 GBd QPSK, 16QAM and
64QAM optical data signals. The reconstructed signals show improved quality compared
to that obtained with a single high-speed intradyne receiver, while the electronic
bandwidth requirements of the individual coherent receivers are greatly reduced.

text: Electrical-optical signal processing has been shown to be a promising path
to overcome the limitations of state-of-the-art all-electrical data converters.
In addition to ultra-broadband signal processing, it allows leveraging ultra-low
jitter mode-locked lasers and thus increasing the aperture jitter limited effective
number of bits at high analog signal frequencies. In this paper, we review our
recent progress towards optically enabled time- and frequency-interleaved analog-to-digital
converters, as well as their monolithic integration in electronic-photonic integrated
circuits. For signal frequencies up to 65 GHz, an optoelectronic track-and-hold
amplifier based on the source-emitter-follower architecture is shown as a power
efficient approach in optically enabled BiCMOS technology. At higher signal frequencies,
integrated photonic filters enable signal slicing in the frequency domain and
further scaling of the conversion bandwidth, with the reconstruction of a 140
GHz optical signal being shown. We further show how such optically enabled data
converter architectures can be applied to a nonlinear Fourier transform based
integrated transceiver in particular and discuss their applicability to broadband
    optical links in general.

text: To reduce high-level radiotoxic waste generated by nuclear power plants, highly
selective separation agents for minor actinides are mandatory. The mixed N,O-donor
    ligand N,N,N′,N′-tetrakis[(6-carboxypyridin-2-yl)methyl]ethylenediamine (H4TPAEN;
    1) has shown good performance as a masking agent in Am3+/Eu3+ separation studies.
Adjustments on the pyridyl backbone to raise the hydrophilicity led to a decrease
in selectivity and a decrease in M3+–Nam interactions. An enhanced basicity of
the pyridyl N-donors was given as a cause. In this work, we examine whether a
decrease in O-donor basicity can promote the M3+–Nam interactions. Therefore,
we replace the deprotonated “charged” carboxylic acid groups of TPAEN4– by neutral
    amide groups and introduce N,N,N′,N’-tetrakis[(6-N″,N′′-diethylcarbamoylpyridin-2-yl)methyl]ethylenediamine
(TPAMEN; 2) as a new ligand. TPAMEN was crystallized with Eu(OTf)3 and Eu(NO3)3·6H2O
to form positively charged 1:1 [Eu(TPAMEN)]3+ complexes in the solid state. Alterations
in the M–O/N bond distances are compared to [Eu(TPAEN)]− and investigated by DFT
calculations to expose the differences in charge/energy density distributions
at europium(III) and the donor functionalities of the TPAEN4– and TPAMEN. On the
basis of estimations of the bond orders, atomic charges spin populations, and
density of states in the Eu and potential Am and Cm complexes, the specific contributions
of the donor–metal interaction are analyzed. The prediction of complex formation
    energy differences for the [M(TPAEN)]− and [M(TPAMEN)]3+ (M3+ = Eu3+, Am3+) complexes
provide an outlook on the potential performance of TPAMEN in Am3+/Eu3+ separation.

we first prove the existence of global classical solutions for any choice of <jats:inline-graphic

and all reasonably regular non-negative initial data.
We next
address the issue of determining the qualitative behaviour of solutions under
appropriate assumptions on the asymptotic properties of <jats:inline-graphic
    xmlns:xlink=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink\" mime-subtype=\"png\" xlink:href=\"S0956792521000279_inline6.png\"/>\r\n$B_1$\r\n

    Indeed, for arbitrary <jats:inline-graphic

over the domain; moreover, it is seen that imposing a mild decay assumption on
    <jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink\"
    mime-subtype=\"png\" xlink:href=\"S0956792521000279_inline10.png\"/>\r\n$B_1$\r\n
