The iron modification of the silica was performed according to a frequently used impregnation technique from aqueous iron nitrate solution. The materials were characterized by nitrogen physisorption, X-ray diffraction, TEM–EDX, Moessbauer spectroscopy, and temperature-programmed reduction (TPR) and tested in the catalytic decomposition of methanol. It is established that the location and dispersion of iron oxide nanoparticles are affected by the pore topology of the support. The most homogeneously dispersed iron oxide nanoparticles are observed using silica host matrix exhibiting a 3-D channel-like structure and pore diameters about 7 nm, and the thus-obtained composites exhibit high catalytic activity and selectivity in methanol decomposition to CO and hydrogen. For all the samples, characterized with a low mesopore volume and small pore diameters/pore entrances, the formation of larger iron oxide particles, mainly located on the outer surface, is observed. This set of equations allows one to nonperturbatively evaluate light-field-induced intraband and interband excitations and is also well suited for the analysis of many-body effects such as excitonic resonances and carrier-carrier and carrier-phonon scattering processes. In this article we start with a description of an experimental observation of coherent spin photocurrents, then we briefly introduce the theoretical approach and review some results of our theory concerning the microscopic description of the ultrafast coherent optical generation and the temporal decay of charge and spin currents in semiconductor nanostructures. The computed transients show an enhanced damping of the spin current relative to the charge current as a consequence of Coulomb scattering between carriers with opposite spin. It occurs in metric spaces with some demands and resources given at its points. The demands may vary with time, but the total demand may never exceed k. The goal of an online algorithm is to satisfy demands by moving resources, while minimizing the cost for transporting resources. We give an asymptotically optimal O(log(min {n,k}))-competitive randomized algorithm and an O(min {k,n})-competitive deterministic one for the k-resource problem on uniform metric spaces consisting of n points. This extends known results for paging to the more general setting of k-resource.\r\nBasing on the results for uniform metric spaces, we develop a randomized algorithm solving the k-resource and the k-server problem on metric spaces which can be decomposed into components far away from each other.
