Stattdessen konzipieren sie u.a. Die Studie zielt darauf, die Rahmenbedingungen näher zu beleuchten, unter denen Lehramtsanwärter*innen im Jahr 2020 ihren Vorbereitungsdienst absolvieren und ihre Erfahrungen zu explorieren.","lang":"ger"}],"publication":"Das Bildungssystem in Zeiten der Krise Empirische Befunde, Konsequenzen und Potenziale für das Lehren und Lernen"},{"citation":{"ama":"Berisha-Gawlowski Angelina, Caruso C, Harteis C. One way to fully tap the potential of a cyber-physical system is the concept of the digital twin, i.e., the real-time digital representation of machines and resources involved – including human resources. The vision of representing humans by digital twins primarily aims at increasing economic benefits. The digital twin of a human, however, cannot be designed in a similar way to that of a machine. The human digital twin shall rather enable humans to act within the cyber-physical system. It therefore offers humans a power of control and the opportunity to provide feedback. The concept of the digital twin is still in its infancy and raises many questions in particular from an educational perspective. The contribution aims at answering the following questions and refers to the example of team learning: Which and how much data should and may the digital twin contain in order to support humans in their learning? To what extent will humans be able to control and design their own learning? How may skills, experiences, and social interactions of humans be represented in the digital twin; their growth and further development, respectively? With cyber-physical systems transcending corporate, national, and legal boundaries, what learning culture will be the frame of reference for the involved organizations?"}],"date_created":"2023-01-09T10:38:42Z","keyword":["Digital twin","Learning organization","Change","Team learning","Professional development"],"type":"book_chapter","publication_identifier":{"isbn":["978-3-030-55877-2"],"eisbn":["978-3-030-55878-9"]},"author":[{"full_name":"Berisha-Gawlowski, Angelina","first_name":" Angelina","last_name":"Berisha-Gawlowski"},{"first_name":"Carina","last_name":"Caruso","full_name":"Caruso, Carina","id":"23123"},{"id":"27503","last_name":"Harteis","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-3570-7626","first_name":"Christian","full_name":"Harteis, Christian"}],"year":"2021","title":"The Concept of a Digital Twin and Its Potential for Learning Organizations","date_updated":"2023-01-09T10:39:26Z","publication_status":"published","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"doi":"10.1007/978-3-030-55878-9_6"},{"language":[{"iso":"ger"}],"_id":"35512","user_id":"60398","author":[{"id":"60398","full_name":"Haak, Viktor","first_name":"Viktor","last_name":"Haak"},{"id":"32056","full_name":"Meschut, Gerson","first_name":"Gerson","orcid":"0000-0002-2763-1246","last_name":"Meschut"},{"full_name":"Reisgen, Uwe","last_name":"Reisgen","first_name":"Uwe"},{"last_name":"Schiebahn","first_name":"Alexander","full_name":"Schiebahn, Alexander"},{"full_name":"Epperlein, Maike","last_name":"Epperlein","first_name":"Maike"}],"conference":{"end_date":"2021-12-08","location":"Dresden","start_date":"2021-12-07","name":"11. Typical concepts in development management like the application of safety coefficients imply limitations of the solution space. In contrast, explicit handling of uncertainties can support engineers in understanding the problem space and in utilising the full potential of the design space along iterative product development steps. As a result from literature analysis, there is a lack of a support for product development that addresses the specific problem of uncertainty and risk in the context of requirement changes. The aim of the contribution at hand is to enhance the efficient development of complex interdisciplinary systems by enabling uncertainty handling in requirements change management. Based on a classification of uncertainty types resulting in a descriptive model, risk management measures are identified to support requirements engineers. The proposed method includes identification & modelling, analysis, treatment and monitoring of risks and counter-measures. By applying this method, engineers are supported in adopting agile approaches and enabling flexible Requirements Engineering.
"}],"publication":"Proceedings of the Design Society"},{"editor":[{"last_name":"Wienrich","first_name":"C.","full_name":"Wienrich, C."},{"last_name":"Wintersberger","first_name":"P.","full_name":"Wintersberger, P."},{"full_name":"Weyers, B.","first_name":"B.","last_name":"Weyers"}],"user_id":"405","doi":"10.18420/muc2021-mci-ws08-376","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"_id":"25534","date_updated":"2023-11-16T09:19:49Z","author":[{"id":"47565","orcid":"0000-0001-5765-971X","first_name":"Iris","last_name":"Gräßler","full_name":"Gräßler, Iris"},{"id":"405","last_name":"Pottebaum","first_name":"Jens","orcid":"http://orcid.org/0000-0001-8778-2989","full_name":"Pottebaum, Jens"},{"full_name":"Roesmann, Daniel","first_name":"Daniel","last_name":"Roesmann","id":"54680"},{"full_name":"Mandischer, Nils","last_name":"Mandischer","first_name":"Nils"},{"full_name":"Gürtler, Marius","last_name":"Gürtler","first_name":"Marius"},{"last_name":"Hüsing","first_name":"Mathias","full_name":"Hüsing, Mathias"},{"full_name":"Corves, Burkhard","first_name":"Burkhard","last_name":"Corves"}],"corporate_editor":["Gesellschaft für Informatik e.V."],"year":"2021","status":"public","title":"Fähigkeitsorientierte Aufgabenzuordnung für die Mensch-Roboter-Kollaboration in sicherheitskritischen Einsatzsituationen","department":[{"_id":"152"}],"type":"conference","date_created":"2021-10-06T07:41:10Z","place":"Bonn","quality_controlled":"1","citation":{"ama":"Gräßler I, Pottebaum J, Roesmann D, et al. In this paper, we argue that a novel conceptual framework is needed to overcome shortcomings of existing AI systems with little attention to processes of interaction and learning. Drawing from research in interaction and development, we first outline the novel conceptual framework that pushes the design of AI systems toward true interactivity with an emphasis on the role of the partner and social relevance. We propose that AI systems will be able to provide a meaningful and relevant explanation only if the process of explaining is extended to active contribution of both partners that brings about dynamics that is modulated by different levels of analysis. Accordingly, our conceptual framework comprises monitoring and scaffolding as key concepts and claims that the process of explaining is not only modulated by the interaction between explainee and explainer but is embedded into a larger social context in which conventionalized and routinized behaviors are established. We discuss our conceptual framework in relation to the established objectives of transparency and autonomy that are raised for the design of explainable AI systems currently.","lang":"eng"}],"publication":"IEEE Transactions on Cognitive and Developmental Systems","issue":"3","keyword":["Explainability","process ofexplaining andunderstanding","explainable artificial systems"],"type":"journal_article","department":[{"_id":"603"},{"_id":"749"},{"_id":"424"},{"_id":"67"},{"_id":"574"},{"_id":"184"},{"_id":"757"},{"_id":"54"},{"_id":"178"}],"file":[{"relation":"main_file","date_updated":"2023-11-20T16:33:51Z","file_name":"2020-12-01_explainability_final_version.pdf","file_size":626217,"access_level":"open_access","file_id":"49081","content_type":"application/pdf","creator":"haebumb","date_created":"2023-11-20T16:33:51Z"}],"date_created":"2021-09-14T20:52:57Z","date_updated":"2023-12-05T10:15:02Z","publication_status":"published","intvolume":" 13","article_type":"original","year":"2021","title":"Explanation as a Social Practice: Toward a Conceptual Framework for the Social Design of AI Systems","author":[{"last_name":"Rohlfing","first_name":"Katharina J.","full_name":"Rohlfing, Katharina J.","id":"50352"},{"full_name":"Cimiano, Philipp","last_name":"Cimiano","first_name":"Philipp"},{"id":"451","last_name":"Scharlau","orcid":"0000-0003-2364-9489","first_name":"Ingrid","full_name":"Scharlau, Ingrid"},{"last_name":"Matzner","first_name":"Tobias","full_name":"Matzner, Tobias","id":"65695"},{"id":"27152","full_name":"Buhl, Heike M.","last_name":"Buhl","first_name":"Heike M."},{"last_name":"Buschmeier","first_name":"Hendrik","full_name":"Buschmeier, Hendrik"},{"full_name":"Esposito, Elena","last_name":"Esposito","first_name":"Elena"},{"first_name":"Angela","last_name":"Grimminger","full_name":"Grimminger, Angela","id":"57578"},{"first_name":"Barbara","last_name":"Hammer","full_name":"Hammer, Barbara"},{"last_name":"Haeb-Umbach","first_name":"Reinhold","full_name":"Haeb-Umbach, Reinhold","id":"242"},{"last_name":"Horwath","first_name":"Ilona","full_name":"Horwath, Ilona","id":"68836"},{"last_name":"Hüllermeier","first_name":"Eyke","full_name":"Hüllermeier, Eyke","id":"48129"},{"full_name":"Kern, Friederike","first_name":"Friederike","last_name":"Kern"},{"first_name":"Stefan","last_name":"Kopp","full_name":"Kopp, Stefan"},{"full_name":"Thommes, Kirsten","last_name":"Thommes","first_name":"Kirsten","id":"72497"},{"full_name":"Ngonga Ngomo, Axel-Cyrille","first_name":"Axel-Cyrille","last_name":"Ngonga Ngomo","id":"65716"},{"id":"60311","full_name":"Schulte, Carsten","first_name":"Carsten","last_name":"Schulte"},{"first_name":"Henning","last_name":"Wachsmuth","full_name":"Wachsmuth, Henning","id":"3900"},{"full_name":"Wagner, Petra","first_name":"Petra","last_name":"Wagner"},{"first_name":"Britta","last_name":"Wrede","full_name":"Wrede, Britta"}],"publication_identifier":{"issn":["2379-8920","2379-8939"]},"doi":"10.1109/tcds.2020.3044366","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"quality_controlled":"1","project":[{"name":"TRR 318: TRR 318 - Erklärbarkeit konstruieren","grant_number":"438445824","_id":"109"}],"file_date_updated":"2023-11-20T16:33:51Z","citation":{"apa":"Rohlfing, K. In this paper we study evolutionary diversity optimization for the knapsack problem (KP). Our goal is to evolve a population of solutions that all have a profit of at least (1 - {$ϵ$}) {$\\cdot$} OPT, where OPT is the value of an optimal solution. Furthermore, they should differ in structure with respect to an entropy-based diversity measure. To this end we propose a simple ({$\\mu$} + 1)-EA with initial approximate solutions calculated by a well-known FPTAS for the KP. We investigate the effect of different standard mutation operators and introduce biased mutation and crossover which puts strong probability on flipping bits of low and/or high frequency within the population. An experimental study on different instances and settings shows that the proposed mutation operators in most cases perform slightly inferior in the long term, but show strong benefits if the number of function evaluations is severely limited."}],"extern":"1","publication":"Proceedings of the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference","doi":"10.1145/3449639.3459364","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"series_title":"GECCO ’21","date_updated":"2023-12-13T10:45:22Z","publication_status":"published","author":[{"id":"102979","first_name":"Jakob","orcid":"0000-0002-4121-4668","last_name":"Bossek","full_name":"Bossek, Jakob"},{"full_name":"Neumann, Aneta","last_name":"Neumann","first_name":"Aneta"},{"first_name":"Frank","last_name":"Neumann","full_name":"Neumann, Frank"}],"publication_identifier":{"isbn":["978-1-4503-8350-9"]},"year":"2021","title":"Breeding Diverse Packings for the Knapsack Problem by Means of Diversity-Tailored Evolutionary Algorithms"},{"publication_status":"published","date_updated":"2023-12-13T10:45:37Z","year":"2021","title":"Evolutionary Diversity Optimization and the Minimum Spanning Tree Problem","publication_identifier":{"isbn":["978-1-4503-8350-9"]},"author":[{"last_name":"Bossek","first_name":"Jakob","orcid":"0000-0002-4121-4668","full_name":"Bossek, Jakob","id":"102979"},{"last_name":"Neumann","first_name":"Frank","full_name":"Neumann, Frank"}],"doi":"10.1145/3449639.3459363","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"series_title":"GECCO ’21","extern":"1","abstract":[{"text":"In the area of evolutionary computation the calculation of diverse sets of high-quality solutions to a given optimization problem has gained momentum in recent years under the term evolutionary diversity optimization. Theoretical insights into the working principles of baseline evolutionary algorithms for diversity optimization are still rare. In this paper we study the well-known Minimum Spanning Tree problem (MST) in the context of diversity optimization where population diversity is measured by the sum of pairwise edge overlaps. Theoretical results provide insights into the fitness landscape of the MST diversity optimization problem pointing out that even for a population of {$\\mu$} = 2 fitness plateaus (of constant length) can be reached, but nevertheless diverse sets can be calculated in polynomial time. We supplement our theoretical results with a series of experiments for the unconstrained and constraint case where all solutions need to fulfill a minimal quality threshold. In this paper, we employ a population diversity measure, called the high-order entropy measure, in an evolutionary algorithm to compute a diverse set of high-quality solutions for the Traveling Salesperson Problem. In contrast to previous studies, our approach allows diversifying segments of tours containing several edges based on the entropy measure. We examine the resulting evolutionary diversity optimisation approach precisely in terms of the final set of solutions and theoretical properties. Experimental results show significant improvements compared to a recently proposed edge-based diversity optimisation approach when working with a large population of solutions or long segments."}],"extern":"1"},{"place":"New York, NY, USA","citation":{"short":"A. This paper introduces approaches for computing diverse sets of high quality solutions for submodular optimisation problems with uniform and knapsack constraints. We first present diversifying greedy sampling approaches and analyse them with respect to the diversity measured by entropy and the approximation quality of the obtained solutions. Afterwards, we introduce an evolutionary diversity optimisation (EDO) approach to further improve diversity of the set of solutions. We carry out experimental investigations on popular submodular benchmark problems and analyse trade-offs in terms of solution quality and diversity of the resulting solution sets."}],"publication":"Proceedings of the Genetic and Evolutionary Computation Conference","doi":"10.1145/3449639.3459385","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"series_title":"GECCO’21","date_updated":"2023-12-13T10:49:25Z","title":"Diversifying Greedy Sampling and Evolutionary Diversity Optimisation for Constrained Monotone Submodular Functions","year":"2021","publication_identifier":{"isbn":["978-1-4503-8350-9"]},"author":[{"last_name":"Neumann","first_name":"Aneta","full_name":"Neumann, Aneta"},{"last_name":"Bossek","orcid":"0000-0002-4121-4668","first_name":"Jakob","full_name":"Bossek, Jakob","id":"102979"},{"full_name":"Neumann, Frank","first_name":"Frank","last_name":"Neumann"}]},{"user_id":"36287","_id":"23469","status":"public","oa":"1","quality_controlled":"1","citation":{"chicago":"Riepold, Markus, Bahman Arian, Julian Rozo Vasquez, Werner Homberg, Frank Walther, and Ansgar Trächtler. “Model Approaches for Closed-Loop Property Control for Flow Forming.” Advances in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering, 2021. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.aime.2021.100057.","ama":"Riepold M, Arian B, Vasquez JR, Homberg W, Walther F, Trächtler A. By controlling workpiece properties during the process, beneficial effects caused by forming can be exploited and integrated in the product design. The overall goal of this investigation is to produce tailored tubular parts with a defined locally graded microstructure by means of reverse flow forming. For this purpose, the proposed system aims to control both the desired geometry of the workpiece and additionally the formation of strain-induced α′-martensite content in the metastable austenitic stainless steel AISI 304 L. The paper introduces an overall control scheme, a geometry model for describing the process and changes in the dimensions of the workpiece, as well as a material model for the process-induced formation of martensite, providing equations based on empirical data. Moreover, measurement systems providing a closed feedback loop are presented, including a novel softsensor for in-situ measurements of the martensite content.","lang":"eng"}],"publication":"Advances in Industrial and Manufacturing Engineering"},{"citation":{"mla":"Moritzer, Elmar, et al. “Investigations for the Optimization of Visual and Geometrical Properties of Arburg Plastic Freeforming Components.” Proceedings: 2021 Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium (SFF Symp 2021), edited by David Bourell, 2021, pp. 467–74, doi:10.26153/tsw/17567.","ama":"Moritzer E, Hecker F, Elsner CL, Hirsch A. Visual and geometrical properties are a major criterion for characterizing the resulting component quality. The aim of this study was to investigate the influences on visual and geometrical properties of APF components depending on process parameters. Initially the focus was on the analysis of the shrinkage behavior of ABS-M30 (Stratasys). On the basis of the results and an existing procedure by the machine manufacturer, an optimized procedure for determining the scaling factors was developed to counteract the shrinkage. With this procedure a higher dimensional accuracy of the components can be achieved. In addition, it was investigated whether an adaption of the form factor based on a mathematical model depending on the component geometry makes sense. The results were transferred into manufacturing guidelines, which allow the user of the APF-technology to optimize process parameters more efficiently."}],"publication":"Proceedings: 2021 Annual International Solid Freeform Fabrication Symposium (SFF Symp 2021)","type":"conference","department":[{"_id":"9"},{"_id":"367"},{"_id":"321"},{"_id":"219"},{"_id":"624"}],"date_created":"2021-09-10T06:54:35Z","date_updated":"2024-01-08T11:32:53Z","publication_status":"published","title":"Investigations for the Optimization of Visual and Geometrical Properties of Arburg Plastic Freeforming Components","year":"2021","author":[{"full_name":"Moritzer, Elmar","first_name":"Elmar","last_name":"Moritzer","id":"20531"},{"id":"45537","first_name":"Felix","last_name":"Hecker","full_name":"Hecker, Felix"},{"full_name":"Elsner, Christian Lennart","first_name":"Christian Lennart","last_name":"Elsner","id":"70729"},{"id":"27599","full_name":"Hirsch, André","last_name":"Hirsch","first_name":"André"}],"doi":"10.26153/tsw/17567","main_file_link":[{"url":"http://utw10945.utweb.utexas.edu/2021-table-contents","open_access":"1"}],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}]}]
