These methods are particularly advantageous to account for microstructural mechanisms which can be related to nonlinearities and time‐dependency due to elasto‐plasticity behavior. However, their advantages are diminished by increasing computational demand. The present contribution deals with the balance of accuracy and numerical efficiency of nonlinear homogenization associated with a framework of goal‐oriented adaptivity, which takes into account error accumulation over time. To this end, model adaptivity of homogenization methods is coupled to mesh adaptivity on the macro scale. Our new proposed adaptive procedure is driven by a goal‐oriented a posteriori error estimator based on duality techniques using downwind and upwind approximations. Due to nonlinearities and time‐dependency of the plasticity, the estimation of error transport and error generation is obtained with a backward‐in‐time dual method despite a high demand on memory capacity. In this contribution, the dual problem is solved with a forward‐in‐time dual method that allows estimating the full error during the resolution of the primal problem without the need for extra memory capacity. Complete security is not possible, striking attacks are unavoidable (assume breach). This requires a paradigm shift in security-oriented engineering of mechatronic and cyber-physical systems towards Defense-in-Depth. Systems need to be engineered in a way that full reliability and security are ensured even in case of targeted attacks. The solution approach described here expands the system model to include attack scenarios and lines of defence. It is applied to an industrial locking system for plant security as an example. Forming technology, which is confronted with new challenges regarding the quality of the workpieces, must also organise the individual processes more efficiently and at the same time more reliably in order to be able to guarantee good workpiece quality and at the same time to be able to produce economically. One way to meet these challenges is to carry out the forming processes in closed-loop control systems using softsensors. Despite the many potential applications of softsensors in the field of forming technology, there is still no definition of the term softsensor. This publication therefore proposes a definition of the softsensor based on the definition of a sensor and the distinction from the observer, which on the one hand is intended to stimulate scientific discourse and on the other hand is also intended to form the basis for further scientific work. This paper recalibrates the 2005 World3‐03 model. The input parameters are changed to better match empirical data on world development. An iterative method is used to compute and optimize different parameter sets. This improved parameter set results in a World3 simulation that shows the same overshoot and collapse mode in the coming decade as the original business as usual scenario of the LtG standard run. The main effect of the recalibration update is to raise the peaks of most variables and move them a few years into the future. In dieser Arbeit wird ein Verfahren entwickelt, das auf Basis des Fließpressprozesses biegebelastbare Hybridbalken in einem Schritt herstellt. Dazu wird ein Versuchsträger entwickelt, der die Komplexität von Realbauteilen abbildet und für zerstörende sowie zerstörungsfreie Charakterisierungsmethoden geeignet ist. Der Versuchsträger besteht aus einer funktionalisierten Kernstruktur aus Glasfasermattenverstärktem Polypropylen und äußeren Metallgurten aus Stahl- und Aluminiumlegierungen, die mit einem Haftvermittlerfilm versehen sind. Anhand des Versuchsträgers wird ein Fließpresswerkzeug und eine instrumentierte Fertigungsanlage entwickelt, mit der die Hybridstrukturen prototypisch hergestellt werden. Zur Prozessoptimierung wird die Verbindung mechanisch und optisch auf Probenebene analysiert. Weiterhin erfolgen Bauteiluntersuchungen anhand von Dreipunktbiegetests, mit denen das strukturelle Verhalten der Hybridbalken charakterisiert wird. Es wird festgestellt, dass sich mit dem einstufigen Fließpressverfahren sehr gute Verbundfestigkeiten erzielen lassen. Die Temperatur- und Druckführung weisen dabei einen großen Einfluss auf das Ergebnis auf. Anhand der Bauteiluntersuchungen wird bestätigt, dass mit dem entwickelten Verfahren Hybridbalken in nur einem Schritt gefertigt werden können, die vergleichbare mechanische Eigenschaften zu Hybridstrukturkonzepten aus mehrschrittigen Fertigungsverfahren aufweisen.","lang":"ger"},{"lang":"eng","text":"Hybrid structures provide a high potential for lightweight design in applications with bending loads, but require complex and sometimes multi-step manufacturing processes. In this work, a process is developed that produces hybrid beams with high bending strength in one step based on the compression moulding process. For this purpose, a prototype beam is developed that represents the complexity of real components and is suitable for destructive as well as non-destructive characterisation methods. The prototype beam consists of a functionalised core structure made of glass mat reinforced polypropylene and outer metal belts made of steel and aluminium alloys, which are coated with an adhesive film. A moulding tool and an instrumented production line are developed, with which the hybrid structures are prototypically manufactured. For process optimisation, the joint is analysed mechanically and optically at sample level. Furthermore, component investigations are carried out using three-point bending tests to characterise the structural behaviour of the hybrid beams. It is found that very good joint strengths can be achieved with the one-step compression moulding process. The temperature and pressure control have a major influence on the result.
