Empirical studies demonstrate that while #fitspiration holds the potential to motivate adolescents to be physically active, it also perpetuates gender-stereotyped, predominantly White, ableist, and normative body ideals associated with fitness and an idealized weight. This trend can be linked to an increased risk of body image concerns or disordered eating among adolescents. Understanding adolescents’ engagement with fitspiration content is crucial for tailoring health and media literacy education within physical education. Therefore, a systematic review of qualitative and quantitative studies was conducted. A search of five electronic databases yielded 312 abstracts, of which 12 met the inclusion criteria. The analysis of the selected studies was based on thematic analysis and included both primary and secondary data. Seven analytical themes emerged: (1) 37–56% of adolescents actively engage with fitspiration content on social media; (2) it fulfills their need for informal and accessible participation; (3) it fosters a sense of social connection; (4) they derive inspiration from peers and influencers; (5) they aspire to idealized body standards; (6) they seek quick solutions when dissatisfied with their bodies; and (7) a few become demotivated and critical when unable to achieve these ideals. Das Verfahrens sollte, die üblichen standardisierten Prüfmethoden erweitern, die bislang primär im quasistatischen oder niederfrequenten Bereich eingesetzt wurden. Im Gegensatz zu bestehenden Verfahren wie dem Zeitstandversuch oder der Dynamisch Mechanischen Analyse (DMA) nach [DIN6721] sollte die neue Methode eine nicht-invasive Charakterisierung der (visko-)elastischen Materialparameter im Frequenzbereich von 0,75 MHz bis 2,5 MHz ermöglichen. Das entwickelte Ultraschallmesssystem arbeitet nach dem Puls Echo-Prinzip und kann eine räumlich segmentierte, ringförmige Anregung erzeugen. Die Bestimmung der frequenzabhängigen Materialparameter geschieht hierbei über ein inverses Verfahren. Die Ergebnisse des Projekts zeigen, dass die Segmentierung der Anregung, die Geometrie der Probe sowie das Puls-Echo-Messprinzip die Messergebnisse sowie die Sensitivität gegenüber Scherparametern wesentlich beeinflussen. Im Rahmen des Projektes wurde auch eine statistische Auswertung des Optimierungsverfahrens hinsichtlich transversal-isotroper Materialsymmetrie mit Rayleigh-Dämpfung durchgeführt. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass das entwickelte Verfahren gute Konvergenzeigenschaften aufweist und sich durch verbesserte Robustheit auszeichnet."},{"text":"This research project involved developing a measurement method to determine the acoustic material parameters of polymers within the ultrasonic frequency range. The aim of this method is to extend the range of standardised tests that operate in the quasi-static or low-frequency range. In contrast to existing methods such as the creep test or dynamic mechanical analysis according to [DIN6721], the developed method is capable of non-invasive characterisation of the (visco-)elastic material parameters in the frequency range of 0,75 MHz bis 2,5 MHz. The developed ultrasonic measurement setup utilises the pulse-echo principle and can generate a spatially segmented, ring-shaped excitation. The frequency-dependent material parameters are determined using an inverse method. The final results of the project show that the segmentation of the excitation, the geometry of the specimen and the pulse-echo measurement principle have a significant influence on the measurement results and the sensitivity to shear movements. As part of the project, a statistical evaluation of the optimisation process was also carried out with regard to transversely isotropic material symmetry with Rayleigh damping. Originally developed for mobile Augmented Reality (mAR), PEARL was adapted for MR to offer a more immersive and intuitive experience through hand and gesture controls. Since many students lack experience with MR devices, a user-friendly onboarding system is essential. The study aims to redesign PEARL’s user interface and onboarding experience, evaluating how intuitive interaction elements impact usability. First, a literature review will identify existing usability guidelines for MR applications, which will guide the redesign of the interface. This new version will then be tested with students through a user study. Feedback will be collected via an online survey to assess the onboarding and user experience, and the findings will be used to refine the design further. The expected outcome is an improved onboarding process and interface, making PEARL accessible even for MR novices, enhancing their ability to interact with 3D objects in a real-world setting. We review in particular our work on both time- and frequency-domain approaches and give an outlook on how these architectures can be extended to include further signal processing tasks such as equalization. Optically triggered track-and-hold amplifiers are reported with an equivalent jitter below 80 fs rms in a signal frequency range from 20 GHz to 70 GHz. Frequency-domain architectures implementing optical arbitrary waveform measurement up to signal bandwidths of 610 GHz are also shown. Diese Studie untersucht an der Schnittstelle von Deutsch als Zweitsprache und Geschichtsdidaktik die Bedingungen des Lesens im Geschichtsunterricht. Im Fokus stehen die Erfahrungen von Seiteneinsteiger:innen sowie die Perspektiven der Lehrkräfte, die im Rahmen einer qualitativ‑explorativen Untersuchung mithilfe von Unterrichtshospitationen, Interviews und Materialanalysen erhoben wurden. Methodisch ist die Arbeit in der Grounded Theory Methodology nach Strauss und Corbin (1996) verankert, anhand derer die komplexen Einflussfaktoren historischer Leseprozesse systematisch herausgearbeitet werden.\r\n\r\nDie Ergebnisse zeigen drei zentrale Einflussdimensionen: sprachliche, sozial‑affektive und geschichtsspezifische Faktoren. Zudem wird deutlich, dass Unterstützungsmaßnahmen stets zwischen kurzfristiger Hilfe und dem langfristigen Aufbau von Disciplinary Literacy ausbalanciert werden müssen. Ihre Wirksamkeit hängt wesentlich von der bewussten Auswahl und Zugänglichkeit durch die Lehrkraft sowie von den Möglichkeiten der Lernenden ab, Unterstützung gezielt einzufordern. Lernwirksam wird Geschichtsunterricht besonders dann, wenn hohe fachliche Anforderungen mit reflektierter sprachlicher Unterstützung verbunden werden. Therefore, NPSs are mathematically described and analyzed. Based on this, the operating principle of a precise optical Nyquist pulse synthesizer digital-to-analog converter (PONyDAC) is described. Possible architectures of PONyDAC are derived and compared in terms of performance and practicability. Moreover, the limits of PONyDAC systems and their superiority over classical electronic DACs are discussed. Furthermore, discrete building-block based implementations and monolithic implementations in electronic-photonic integrated circuits (EPICs) are presented. To enable a practicable monolithic integration, a shrinkage of the Mach-Zehnder modulators (MZMs) has been performed by applying forward-biased phase shifters (FB-PSs). But what about the dynamics of a process mining project itself. In this paper, we present insights of a process mining introduction project spanning two years. For that we analyze the logs of the process mining platform supported by interviews of the developers and participants as part of our case study research. Based on this, our findings indicate four actions that impact a successful process mining project and the underlying dynamics. (1) Two development phases in a test and productive environment can lead to data driven process improvements. (2) Maintenance and the associated technical debt can cause process drift. (3) Scope creep of the project is easily identifiable in such logs and hinders the complete process mining initiative and (4) a sufficient user base and constant interaction with allows for bottom up process change. These results provide quantitative insights into the development and adoption cycles of the software and the direct impact on the processes as well as the business process management initiative. From this initial analysis researchers can benefit from first insights into the quantitative side of a process mining project and our categorization of the findings. Besides insights from business process management, software development knowledge like systems interaction and network knowledge is required. For a well functioning process automation these different skill sets must be combined. In a design science research study, concepts from business process management, software development, and best practices are combined to design an actionable development method for RPA. The resulting PM2RPA method structures the development process in four stages: pre-Development, design, development and operations. Within these four stages, 14 activities support product owners, developers, and process experts over the course of the development process. The PM2RPA Method is demonstrated in an environment characterized by frequently changing business processes and heavy resource restrictions due to a lack of skilled workers. The PM2RPA method allows process-driven development while focusing on systems integration and reporting, resulting in a structured and comprehensive method for developing RPA bots. Practitioners can use this method to manage their automation projects.
