A popular way to increase the number of online reviews is to use product testing programs, which offer participants free products in exchange for writing reviews. Firms that employ this practice generally hope to increase review quality and secure higher product rating scores. However, a qualitative study, experimental study, and multilevel analysis of a field study dataset of more than 200,000 online reviews by product testers combine to reveal that product testing programs do not necessarily generate higher quality reviews, nor better product ratings. Only in certain circumstances (e.g., higher priced products) does offering a product testing program generate these benefits for the firm. Therefore, companies should consider carefully if and when they want to offer product testing programs.
"}],"keyword":["Marketing","Economics and Econometrics","Business and International Management"],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"publication_identifier":{"issn":["0092-0703","1552-7824"]},"publication_status":"published","page":"703-722","intvolume":" 49","citation":{"short":"I.
"}]},{"publisher":"MDPI AG","date_created":"2023-03-03T13:55:55Z","title":"Effects of an Intervention for Promoting Basic Motor Competencies in Middle Childhood","issue":"14","year":"2021","keyword":["Health","Toxicology and Mutagenesis","Public Health","Environmental and Occupational Health"],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"publication":"International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health","abstract":[{"lang":"eng","text":"
The development of motor competencies is necessary for participation in the culture of sport, exercise, and physical activity, which in turn supports the development of a healthy lifestyle. A lack of physical activity in childhood and deficits in motor performance emphasize the relevance of interventions for promoting basic motor competencies. However, there are research desiderata with regard to such interventions. This article describes an intervention program for promoting basic motor competencies in middle childhood (around 6 to 10 years of age). The intervention was investigated in a longitudinal study from June 2019 to January 2020 (n = 200; 58% girls, M = 8.84 years, SD = 0.63) at three primary schools. The intervention was conducted once a week in physical education (PE). The comparison group participated in regular PE. The intervention showed significant effects on basic motor competencies in object movement but not in self-movement. The results demonstrate that positive effects on basic motor competencies can be achieved with the help of a relatively simple intervention. Further longitudinal studies are desirable as a means of substantiating the results and developing evidence-based concepts to support children in their development in the best possible way.
"}],"date_updated":"2023-09-19T10:06:58Z","author":[{"id":"58723","full_name":"Strotmeyer, Anne","last_name":"Strotmeyer","orcid":"0000-0002-6830-9245","first_name":"Anne"},{"last_name":"Kehne","full_name":"Kehne, Miriam","id":"129","first_name":"Miriam"},{"first_name":"Christian","last_name":"Herrmann","full_name":"Herrmann, Christian"}],"volume":18,"doi":"10.3390/ijerph18147343","publication_status":"published","publication_identifier":{"issn":["1660-4601"]},"citation":{"short":"A. This paper presents a novel method based on limited\r\ndata from sensors positioned at specific locations and guarantees a general accordance of reality and\r\nsimulation in terms of multimodal road traffic counts and vehicle speeds. In these considerations, the actual\r\npurpose of research is of particular importance. Here, the research aims at improving the traffic flow by\r\ncontrolling the Traffic Light Systems (TLS) of the examined area which is why the current traffic state and\r\nthe route choices of individual road users are the matter of interest. An integer optimization problem is derived\r\nto fit the current simulation to the latest field measurements. The concept can be transferred to any road traffic\r\nnetwork and results in an observation of the current multimodal traffic state matching at the given sensor\r\nposition. During the synthesis of this complex, one chiral ligand of the parent Rh2(S-PTTL)4 catalyst is exchanged with an analogous chiral ligand system containing an alkyne moiety, which to a great extent maintains the intrinsic catalytic performance of the catalyst. The heterogeneous dirhodium catalyst is characterized by FT-IR and 13C solid-state NMR to validate the successful immobilization. The catalytic performance of the heterogeneous catalyst 8 is investigated in the asymmetric cyclopropanation of 3-diazooxindole with different aryl alkenes that form spiro-cyclopropyloxindoles which serve as precursors for pharmaceuticals. The resulting heterogeneous catalyst shows high catalytic activity and significant enantioselectivity. Importantly, it can be readily recovered and reused at least four times without significant loss of its catalytic performance."}],"status":"public","type":"journal_article","publication":"Journal of CO2 Utilization","keyword":["immobilized catalyst","asymmetric cyclopropanation","Chiral dirhodium"],"extern":"1","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"_id":"64005","user_id":"100715","year":"2021","citation":{"apa":"Li, Z., Rösler, L., Wissel, T., Breitzke, H., Gutmann, T., & Buntkowsky, G. By specifically labeling the disulfide bridge this molecule becomes accessible for analytical techniques such as Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) and solid state Dynamic Nuclear Polarization (DNP). The necessary spin-label was synthesized and inserted into the disulfide bridge of eptifibatide via reductive followed by insertion by a double Michael addition under physiological conditions. This procedure is universally applicable for disulfide containing biomolecules and is expected to preserve their tertiary structure with minimal change due to the small size of the label and restoring of the previous disulfide connection. HPLC and MS analysis show the successful introduction of the spin label and EPR spectroscopy confirms its activity. DNP-enhanced solid state NMR experiments show signal enhancement factors of up to 19 in 13C CP MAS experiments which corresponds to time saving factors of up to 361. This clearly shows the high potential of our new spin labeling strategy for the introduction of site selective radical spin labels into biomolecules and biosolids without compromising its conformational integrity for structural investigations employing solid-state DNP or advanced EPR techniques."}],"publication":"Scientific Reports","type":"journal_article","doi":"10.1038/s41598-021-92975-6","title":"A novel strategy for site selective spin-labeling to investigate bioactive entities by DNP and EPR spectroscopy","volume":11,"date_created":"2026-02-07T15:41:36Z","author":[{"first_name":"Kevin","full_name":"Herr, Kevin","last_name":"Herr"},{"full_name":"Fleckenstein, Max","last_name":"Fleckenstein","first_name":"Max"},{"first_name":"Martin","full_name":"Brodrecht, Martin","last_name":"Brodrecht"},{"last_name":"Höfler","full_name":"Höfler, Mark V.","first_name":"Mark V."},{"first_name":"Henrike","last_name":"Heise","full_name":"Heise, Henrike"},{"full_name":"Aussenac, Fabien","last_name":"Aussenac","first_name":"Fabien"},{"last_name":"Gutmann","id":"118165","full_name":"Gutmann, Torsten","first_name":"Torsten"},{"full_name":"Reggelin, Michael","last_name":"Reggelin","first_name":"Michael"},{"last_name":"Buntkowsky","full_name":"Buntkowsky, Gerd","first_name":"Gerd"}],"date_updated":"2026-02-17T16:17:24Z","page":"13714","intvolume":" 11","citation":{"chicago":"Herr, Kevin, Max Fleckenstein, Martin Brodrecht, Mark V.
