This allows us to control the behavior of $p$-adic $L$-functions under\r\nTate twists and to prove the existence of non-abelian $p$-adic $L$-functions\r\nfor Hida families on $\\mathrm{GL}(n+1)\\times\\mathrm{GL}(n)$.
