Als Lösungsansatz wurde in den letzten Jahren vielfach das Paradigma einer serviceorientierten Architektur (SOA) diskutiert und insbesondere durch herstellerspezifische Technologien unterstützt. Dieser Beitrag widmet sich einer häufig vernachlässigten methodischen Herangehensweise und stellt mit Quasar Enterprise einen strukturierten und in der Praxis erprobten Lösungsansatz vor. Insbesondere werden konkrete Verfahrensbausteine für eine durchgängige Methode vorgestellt, die einem Architekten helfen, eine auf das zu unterstützende Geschäft ausgerichtete Anwendungslandschaft zu entwickeln und zu warten.
