This hypothesis is tested using a Reuleaux triangle joint geometry. A tool design is carried out, followed by a numerical sensitivity analysis of the tool geometry. Initial tools were manufactured for experimental investigations and then adapted based on the findings of the sensitivity analysis. The joints are characterized by micrographs, 3D scans, shear tensile tests, head tensile tests and three-point bending tests and compared with a round geometry. The analysis confirms the hypothesis. Here, we hypothesize that the peak of clock gene expression at 7 a.m. differs between young adults with a late chronotype and young adults with an early chronotype. Participants of the Chronotype and Nutrition nutritional trial (ChroNu study) were selected for their chronotype assessed by the Munich Chronotype questionnaire (MCTQ) and actigraphy. Total RNA was isolated from CD14<jats:sup>+</jats:sup> monocytes of participants at 7 a.m. on the run-in day. Expression levels of seven clock genes (<jats:italic>PER1</jats:italic>,<jats:italic> PER2</jats:italic>,<jats:italic> PER3</jats:italic>, <jats:italic>NR1D1</jats:italic>,<jats:italic> NR1D2</jats:italic>, <jats:italic>CRY1</jats:italic> and <jats:italic>CRISPLD2</jats:italic>) of individuals with early (<jats:italic>n</jats:italic> = 11) or late chronotypes (<jats:italic>n</jats:italic> = 19) were analysed by reverse transcription quantitative polymerase chain reaction. Difference in expression levels was tested by Mann Whitney-U test. The relative expression levels of the selected genes were not significantly different between individuals with early and late chronotypes (all <jats:italic>p</jats:italic> &gt; 0.07). Contrary to expectation, clock gene expression levels at 7 a.m. was similar in individuals with early and late chronotypes. However, this technology also introduces significant security challenges. Previous research highlighted the security implications of G-Codes—commands used to control the printing process. These studies assumed powerful attackers and focused on manipulations of the printed models, leaving gaps in understanding the full attack potential.\r\n\r\nIn this study, we systematically analyze security threats associated with 3D printing, focusing specifically on vulnerabilities caused by G-Code commands. We introduce attacks and attacker models that assume a less powerful adversary than traditionally considered, broadening the scope of potential security threats. Our findings show that even minimal access to the 3D printer can result in significant security breaches, such as unauthorized access to subsequent print jobs or persistent misconfiguration of the printer. We identify 278 potentially malicious G-Codes across the attack categories Information Disclosure, Denial of Service, and Model Manipulation. Our evaluation demonstrates the applicability of these attacks across various 3D printers and their firmware. Addressing such bottlenecks requires a comprehensive approach to tailoring the precision across operations in the inference computation. To this end, we introduce scaled-integer range analysis (SIRA), a static analysis technique employing interval arithmetic to determine the range, scale, and bias for tensors in quantized neural networks. We show how this information can be exploited to reduce the resource footprint of FPGA dataflow neural network accelerators via tailored bitwidth adaptation for accumulators and downstream operations, aggregation of scales and biases, and conversion of consecutive elementwise operations to thresholding operations. We integrate SIRA-driven optimizations into the open-source FINN framework, then evaluate their effectiveness across a range of quantized neural network workloads and compare implementation alternatives for non-matrix-multiply operations. We demonstrate an average reduction of 17% for LUTs, 66% for DSPs, and 22% for accumulator bitwidths with SIRA optimizations, providing detailed benchmark analysis and analytical models to guide the implementation style for non-matrix layers. Mechanical joining methods, such as clinching, are characterised by locally large plastic deformations of the sheet metal to be joined. The majority of the thereby inserted work is transformed into heat. The heat generation and temperature evolution are systematically studied herein by means of thermomechanical process simulations for joining the dual-phase steel HCT590X and the aluminium alloy EN-AW 6014. The thermal-induced softening of the material is incorporated by a suitable coupled thermoplastic constitutive model. It is observed how the tools significantly and importantly contribute to the heat exchange. They reduce peak temperature increases of 225 K (without heat transfer to tools) to less than 90 K for realistic behaviour of contact heat transfer. Damit einhergehende Erwartungen im Hinblick auf den Professionalisierungsprozess von Lehrkräften fokussieren insbesondere die Vermittlung einer forschenden Grundhaltung, die auf eine nicht-wissenschaftsferne Berufsausübung abzielt. Wir fassen die forschende Grundhaltung als Professionsüberzeugung, die aus einer kognitiven, affektiven und handlungsbezogenen Komponente besteht und untersuchen die Komponenten im Zusammenspiel sowie im Längsschnitt.</jats:p>\r\n          <jats:p>Mittels teilstrukturierter Interviews mit 22 angehenden Lehrkräften im Referendariat und Berufseinstieg, die sich im Praxissemester mit Forschendem Lernen befasst haben, werden das Verständnis (kognitive Komponente) und die Bedeutsamkeit (affektive und handlungsbezogene Komponente) Forschenden Lernens in der jeweiligen Ausbildungs- bzw. Berufsphase erfragt. Die Daten werden inhaltsanalytisch sowie typenbildend ausgewertet, um das Verständnis und die Bedeutsamkeit in der jeweiligen Phase, längsschnittliche Entwicklungen sowie das Verhältnis von Verständnis und Bedeutsamkeit herauszuarbeiten. Die Befunde zeigen, dass die Verständnisse von Forschendem Lernen sowohl im Referendariat als auch im Berufseinstieg variieren. Die Typenbildung verdeutlicht, dass die fehlende Bedeutsamkeit Forschenden Lernens mit Fehlkonzepten einhergeht und eine höhere Bedeutsamkeit erkennbar ist, wenn Adaptionsleistungen hinsichtlich des Konzepts vorgenommen werden. Insgesamt ist im Sinne der Auffassung als Professionsüberzeugung die Anbahnung einer forschenden Grundhaltung bei einigen Befragten erkennbar. Anisotropic organic single‐crystalline materials can induce abundant SOC phenomenon due to their flexible tunability of molecular geometries, however, the intrinsic relationship between molecular geometries/orientations in 3D space and photonic SOC is lacking. In this study, we design two kinds of 2D organic polymorphs for the construction of organic microcavities to investigate the structure‐performance relationships. In two polymorphic microcavities, two distinctive photonic SOC phenomena are observed regardless of the in‐plane anisotropy of organic polymorphs. Theoretical analysis indicates that the photonic SOC strength is strongly influenced by the synergies between the crystal anisotropy and the tilted collective molecular transition dipole moment.
