Dabei beruhen Zustandsüberwachungssysteme auf den folgenden Bausteinen: Sensorik, Datenvorverarbeitung, Merkmalsextraktion und -auswahl, Diagnose bzw. Prognose sowie einer Entscheidungsfindung basierend auf den Ergebnissen. Jeder dieser Bausteine erfordert individuelle Einstellungen, um ein geeignetes Zustandsüberwachungssystem für die jeweilige Anwendung zu entwickeln. Eine offene Fragestellung im Bereich der Zustandsüberwachung ergibt sich aufgrund der Unsicherheit der Zukunft, die sich in den zukünftigen Betriebs- und Umgebungsbedingungen zeigt. Diese Unsicherheit gilt es in allen Bausteinen zu berücksichtigen.\r\nDieser Beitrag konzentriert sich auf den Baustein Merkmalsextraktion und -selektion, mit dem Ziel anhand geeigneter Merkmale eine Prognose der nutzbaren Restlebensdauer mit hoher Genauigkeit realisieren zu können. Daher werden geeignete Merkmale aus dem Zeitbereich und daraus abgeleitete Zustandsindikatoren für die Restlebensdauerprognose von technischen Systemen vorgestellt. Dabei sind Zustandsindikatoren Kenngrößen zur Beobachtung des Zustands der kritischen Systemkomponenten. Anhand dreier Anwendungsbeispiele wird ihre Eignung evaluiert. Dabei werden Daten aus Lebensdauerversuchen unter instationären Betriebs- und Umgebungsbedingungen ausgewertet. Die auftretenden Unsicherheiten der Zukunft werden somit berücksichtigt. Die Beispielsysteme beruhen auf Gummi-Metall-Elementen und Wälzlagern. Aus den generierten Ergebnissen lässt sich schließen, dass die Zustandsindikatoren aus der betrachteten Zeitreihen-Toolbox auch unter unbekannten Betriebs- und Umgebungsbedingungen robust sind.\r\n"},{"text":"Due to the advances in digitalization, condition monitoring systems have found numerous applications in the industry due to benefits such as improved reliability and lowered costs through condition-based or predictive maintenance. Condition monitoring systems typically involve elements, such as data acquisition via suitable sensors, data preprocessing, feature extraction and selection, diagnostics, prognostics and (maintenance) decisions based on diagnosis or prognosis. For the application-specific development of a suitable condition monitoring system, each of these elements requires individual settings. Due to the uncertainty of the future, an open question arises in the condition monitoring field, which is reflected in unknown future operating and environmental conditions. This uncertainty needs consideration in all elements of a condition monitoring system.\r\nThis article focuses on feature extraction and selection, building on the hypothesis that the remaining useful life of a technical system can be predicted with high accuracy utilizing suitable features. In this article, health indicators derived from time-domain features that permit the monitoring of the health of critical system components are presented for predicting the remaining useful life of technical systems. Three distinct application examples based on rubber-metal elements and rolling-element bearings are evaluated to validate the suitability of the presented methods. Experimental data from accelerated lifetime tests conducted under non-stationary operating and environmental conditions are considered to take possible future uncertainties into account. Existing development methods for these business models do not specifically focus that the development process profoundly depends on the situation (e.g., market size, regulations) of the mobile app developer. Here, a mismatch between method and situation can lead to poor resource management and longer development cycles. In software engineering, situational method engineering is used for software projects to configure a development method out of a method repository based on the project situation. Analogously, we support creating situation-specific business model development methods with a method base and new user roles. Here, the method engineer obtains the knowledge of the domain expert and stores it in the method base as elements, building blocks, and patterns. The expert knowledge is derived from a grey literature review on mobile development processes. After this, the method engineer constructs the development method based on the described situation of the business developer. We provide an open-source tool and evaluate it by constructing a local event platform's business model development method. We investigate how individuals react to variations in COVID-19 reporting. Using a survey, we elicit individuals' perceived infection risk given various COVID-19 metrics (e.g., confirmed cases, reproduction rate, or case-fatality ratio). We proxy individuals' risk perception with their willingness to pay for the participation in everyday life and amusements events. We find that participants react to different COVID-19 metrics with varying sensitivity. Despite the success of prominent examples, such as Uber and Airbnb, creating a profitable platform ecosystem presents a key challenge for many companies across all industries. Here, domain experts can guide the choices of tasks and decisions with their knowledge. Nevertheless, this knowledge needs to match the situation of the company (e.g., financial resources) and the application domain of the product/service (e.g., mobile app) to reduce the risk of developing ineffective business models with low market penetration. This is not covered by one-size-fits-all development methods without tailoring before the enaction.\r\nTherefore, we conduct a design science study to create a situation-specific development approach for business models. Based on situational method engineering and our previous work in storing knowledge of methods and models in distinct repositories, this paper shows the situation-specific composition and enaction of business model development methods. First, the method engineer composes the development method out of both repositories based on the situational context. Second, the business developer enacts the method and develops the business model. Motivated by the broad applicability of GNNs, we propose the family of so-called RankGNNs, a combination of neural Learning to Rank (LtR) methods and GNNs. RankGNNs are trained with a set of pair-wise preferences between graphs, suggesting that one of them is preferred over the other. One practical application of this problem is drug screening, where an expert wants to find the most promising molecules in a large collection of drug candidates. The significance of the guarantee of the protecting powers, which was without precedent, is considered by James as well as the competitive situation on the bond market, the relationship of the Rothschilds with leading politicians of the time, and the special significance of Greece in the period of intensive European philhellenism. Auch in der Wirtschaftspädagogik hat die empirische Auseinandersetzung mit den Beweggründen der Studien- und Berufswahl eine gewisse Tradition. Gleichzeitig muss bemängelt werden, dass die existierenden Untersuchungen einerseits bisher keine an die nationale und internationale Forschung anschlussfähigen Erhebungsinstrumente benutzten und andererseits regional nur einzelne Hochschulstandorte berücksichtigten. Die hier berichtete Studie nimmt sich dieses Forschungsdesiderates an. Hierzu wurden 879 Studierende der Wirtschaftspädagogik an zwölf deutschen Studienstandorten mit einem standardisierten Fragebogen, basierend auf dem bereits gut etablierten FIT-Choice-Ansatz, befragt. Auf Basis dieser Stichprobe werden folgende Forschungsfragen beantwortet: (1) Inwiefern eignet sich das FIT-Choice-Instrumentarium auch für Untersuchungen von Studierenden der Wirtschaftspädagogik?, (2) Welche Motive sowie Vorstellungen vom späteren Beruf liegen der Berufswahl der befragten Studierenden der Wirtschaftspädagogik zugrunde? und (3) Inwiefern unterscheiden sich die Berufswahlmotive sowie die Vorstellungen des späteren Berufs der befragten Wirtschaftspädagogikstudierenden in Hinblick auf das Geschlecht, eine vorherige Berufsausbildung sowie den späteren Berufswunsch? Die Validierung zeigt, dass sich der FIT-Choice-Ansatz größtenteils gut eignet, um auch Studierende der Wirtschaftspädagogik zu untersuchen. Darüber hinaus geben die Befunde vertiefte Einblicke in die Berufswahlmotivation angehender Wirtschaftspädagog*innen (z. Drawing on 43 interviews with successful players in Silicon Valley, Munich, and Singapore, we found ecosystem-specific narratives indicate what is common, appropriate, and successful in each ecosystem, and these narratives encourage either effectuation or causation. Our findings indicate that the narratives in the ecosystem in Silicon Valley facilitate effectuation, in Munich causation, and in Singapore a cautious balance of both. Our research suggests that narratives can explain mechanisms how ecosystems influence entrepreneurship: the national culture, market characteristics, available resources, and networks in an ecosystem spark ecosystem-specific narratives, which in turn shape tendencies towards effectuation and causation. However, introducing AI may negatively impact employees’ identifications with their jobs as AI is expected to fundamentally change workplaces and professions, feeding into individuals’ fears of being replaced. To broaden the understanding of the AI identity threat, the findings of this study reveal three central predictors for AI identity threat in the workplace: changes to work, loss of status position, and AI identity predicting AI identity threat in the workplace. This study enriches information systems literature by extending our understanding of collaboration with AI in the workplace to drive future research in this field. Using data from two particularly prestigious German wine guides (Gault Millau and Vinum), this paper shows that these latter changes have a rather small, yet statistically significant impact on changes in winery ratings. Thus, consumers are well-advised to consider these changes before making their purchasing decision. Through an application of configurational theory, the authors explain how individual and organizational conditions combine to determine salespeople’s engagement in solution selling. Multilevel, multisource data from the sales organization of a global supplier of building solutions represent input from salespeople (<jats:italic>N</jats:italic> = 184), solution champions (<jats:italic>N</jats:italic> = 23), and sales managers (<jats:italic>N</jats:italic> = 26). A fuzzy set qualitative comparative analysis reveals no single, optimal way to overcome transformation challenges. Rather, consistent with prior research, solution selling requires certain types of salespeople, because value-based selling is a necessary condition for successful engagement. Beyond this foundational condition, a heterogeneous sales force can be engaged, as long as the organization provides appropriate support that is tailored to individual salespersons’ needs. A popular way to increase the number of online reviews is to use product testing programs, which offer participants free products in exchange for writing reviews. Firms that employ this practice generally hope to increase review quality and secure higher product rating scores. However, a qualitative study, experimental study, and multilevel analysis of a field study dataset of more than 200,000 online reviews by product testers combine to reveal that product testing programs do not necessarily generate higher quality reviews, nor better product ratings. Only in certain circumstances (e.g., higher priced products) does offering a product testing program generate these benefits for the firm. This device allows to measure electric and magnetic fields in small distances to the DUT (Device under Test) with high geometric precision and high sensitivity. Leading to a fast examination of EMC (Electromagnetic Compatibility) problems, because the electromagnetic properties are better understandable and therefore easier to solve than e.g. measurements in a far-field chamber. In addition, it is possible to extrapolate the near-fields into the far-field and to determine the radiation pattern of antennas and emitting objects. For this purpose, this paper deals with the basis of this transformation, the so-called surface equivalence theorem. This principle is then adapted to the measurement of near-field scanners and implemented accordingly. This approach involves so-called Huygens' box as an efficient radiation model inside an electromagnetic (EM) simulation tool and then transforms the scanned NF measured data into the FF. For this, the basic idea of the Huygens'box principle and the NF-to-FF transformation are briefly presented. The NF is measured on the Huygens' box around a device under test using anNF scanner, recording the magnitude and phase of the site-related magnetic and electric components. A comparison between a fullwave simulation and the measurement results shows a good similarity in both the NF and the simulated and transformed FF.Thus, this method is applicable to predict the FF behaviour of any electronic system by measuring the NF. With this knowledge, the RF design can be improved due to allowing a significant reduction of EM compatibility failure at the end of the development flow.
