  text: <jats:title>Abstract</jats:title><jats:p>In Konstruktionen des Landmaschinenbaus
    aus dickeren Blechen (ca. 3–10 mm) findet die Klebtechnik bislang nur wenig Anwendung,
    obwohl sie in anderen Einsatzgebieten bereits ein etabliertes Fügeverfahren darstellt
    und viele Vorteile gegenüber anderen Fügeverfahren bietet, da es bisher an Regelwerken
    bei der Auslegung derartiger Verbindungen fehlt. Ein wesentliches Kriterium bei
    der Auslegung von Verbindungen im Landmaschinenbau ist die Ermüdungsfestigkeit
    aufgrund der langen Nutzungsphase der Produkte und der in der Landtechnik vorherrschenden
    Belastungscharakteristika. Geklebte Verbindungen weisen ein hervorragendes Verhalten
    bei zyklischer Belastung auf. Die steigenden Anforderungen im Hinblick auf Ressourceneffizienz
    und Leichtbau führen zu einem Umdenken, da durch den vermehrten Einsatz höherfester
    Stahlwerkstoffe in Kombination mit der Klebtechnik dieses als umsetzbar erscheint.
    Ziel ist die Entwicklung einer Methode zur Auslegung geklebter Verbindungen in
    Konstruktionen mit höherfesten Stahlwerkstoffen in Anlehnung an die FKM‐Richtlinie.
    Die betriebsrelevanten Beanspruchungen der Landtechnik werden analysiert und an
    speziellen Probekörpern untersucht. Dabei werden sowohl die mechanischen, thermischen
    und medialen Einflussfaktoren als auch der Einfluss der Klebfugengeometrie und
    von Betriebslastenkollektiven untersucht. Die Erkenntnisse werden in einer KMU‐relevanten
    Vorgehensweise zur Ermittlung von Abminderungsfaktoren zusammengefasst, wodurch
    die Auslegung der Bauteilfestigkeit sowohl statisch als auch dynamisch möglich
    ist.</jats:p>

  text: "The volume comprises a variety of research approaches that seek to explore
    and understand employees’ learning and development through and for work. Working
    life reveals challenges through technological, economic and societal development
    that can only rudimentarily be addressed by formal education and training. Workplace
    learning becomes more and more important for employees and enterprises to successfully
    cope with these challenges.\r\nWorkplace learning is a steadily growing field
    of educational research but it lacks so far a scholastic canon – there is rather
    a diversity of research approaches. This volume reflects this diversity by bringing
    together researchers from different countries and different theoretical backgrounds,
    presenting their current research on topics that all are relevant for understanding
    presages, processes and outcomes of workplace learning. Hence, this volume is
    of relevance for researchers as well as practitioners in the field and policy
    makers."

  text: <jats:p>Due to failures or even the absence of an electricity grid, microgrid
    systems are becoming popular solutions for electrifying African rural communities.
    However, they are heavily stressed and complex to control due to their intermittency
    and demand growth. Demand side management (DSM) serves as an option to increase
    the level of flexibility on the demand side by scheduling users’ consumption patterns
    profiles in response to supply. This paper proposes a demand-side management strategy
    based on load shifting and peak clipping. The proposed approach was modelled in
    a MATLAB/Simulink R2021a environment and was optimized using the artificial neural
    network (ANN) algorithm. Simulations were carried out to test the model’s efficacy
    in a stand-alone PV-battery microgrid in East Africa. The proposed algorithm reduces
    the peak demand, smoothing the load profile to the desired level, and improves
    the system’s peak to average ratio (PAR). The presence of deferrable loads has
    been considered to bring more flexible demand-side management. Results promise
    decreases in peak demand and peak to average ratio of about 31.2% and 7.5% through
    peak clipping. In addition, load shifting promises more flexibility to customers.</jats:p>

    and thinking (of everything intelligible), not metaphysics, its claims that the
    propositions are constructed (4.5), and that “a proposition constructs a world”
    (4.023) indicate the legitimacy of its reconstruction we are going to make in
    the present chapter. It discusses Wittgenstein’s constructivist ontology of ways.
    Wittgenstein’s ways are different both from modi and from tropes. In short, his
    ontology of ways explores the manners in which the elements of one basic ontological
    system can arranged to produce ontological systems of higher order. The advantage
    of this ontology is that it suggests an elegant solution to the problem of constructing
    ontological systems of new order, such as states of affairs, thinking, language,
    logic and works of art. "
