However, the role of V&V engineers is often not given sufficient attention. Based on a systematic literature analysis and practical observations, a four-step method for Test-oriented Resilient Requirements Engineering (ToRRE) is developed. The steps are planning V&V, executing V&V activities, documenting V&V activities and analyzing results of V&V activities. Applying ToRRE ensures continuous information flow and traceability. Engineers are enabled to analyze requirements using engineering artifacts connected through Model-Based Systems Engineering. Adopting methods for Model-Based Effect Chain analysis to evaluated test cases and test scenarios, conclusions on requirements engineering and change management are enabled. While a variety of disciplines are developing new approaches to drive service innovation, this is primarily done in isolation and generates only fragmented solutions. Sociological theory has proposed “boundary objects” as an effective umbrella for communication and cooperation among communities. Therefore, we introduce continuous value shaping (CVS) as a boundary object describing service innovation approaches along five principles. We reflect on this concept through the different disciplinary lenses of researchers in service marketing, information systems, service engineering, sociology of work, and innovation management. These perspectives highlight how the CVS principles already connect to discourses within the individual disciplines. However, the CVS concept will not only provide an umbrella to embrace existing activities in different academic disciplines. It also assists to identify research themes that will benefit from uniting the power of these disciplines, and it can serve as an integrating framework to conceptualize complex service innovation approaches. We analyse whether heteroclinic structures can arise in network dynamics with higher-order interactions which describe the nonlinear interactions between three or more units. We find that while commonly analysed model equations such as network dynamics on undirected hypergraphs may be useful to describe local dynamics such as cluster synchronization, they give rise to obstructions that allow to design of heteroclinic structures in phase space. For example, property damage to shared accommodations imposes burdens on both sharing platforms and hosts, especially if misbehaving guests purposefully, not coincidentally conceal, or fail to report damages. Such misbehavior might be facilitated by remote listing management and the lack of face-to-face interactions between hosts and guests. Therefore, this study investigated the effects of host–guest interaction modes (face-to-face, online-only) and frequency on guests’ misbehavior concealment intentions. Social identification and irritation emerged as bright- and dark side mediators, respectively. Guests who interacted face-to-face (vs. online-only) with hosts exhibited weaker intentions to conceal their misbehavior due to increased social identification. Platforms can elicit social identification by engaging guests in virtual communities. However, when face-to-face interactions become excessive, guests experience irritation and are more likely to conceal their misbehavior. However, these systems are relevant for prospective buyers to find a trustworthy seller. This observation applies especially to short-lived business relationships where fulfilling the performance promise is subject to a high degree of uncertainty. This paper explores the value of a reputation system for a business-to-business (B2B) context and focuses on three novel solutions for designing reputation systems. These solutions include selling ratings, conducting ratings as payments, and employing a counter-rating mechanism. We interview buyers to fathom the added value of these solutions in different contexts. Our findings suggest that such a system is useful for companies acting in less transparent markets and also helps when companies already have a good market overview. These challenges can critically impact assets in the distribution grid—e.g., switchgears—intensifying the need to plan, conduct, and manage the maintenance of such assets. Predictive maintenance strategies that analyze assets' current and historical condition data have been discussed as promising approaches toward that end. However, the extant research focuses on designing and improving analytical algorithms or information technology (IT) artifacts while not considering how a maintenance service is cocreated by companies with IT. This research article posits that IT and service must be aligned closely, presenting an ensemble artifact comprising a digital industrial platform and a smart service system for predictive maintenance on the distribution grid. The artifact is evaluated by conducting a willingness-to-pay analysis with asset operators, documenting their demand for condition monitoring and predictive maintenance as an integrated solution, although they still struggle with even getting the condition data of their assets. Their use offers the opportunity to promote independent learning in the classroom, but also poses challenges for teaching and learning processes. Therefore, it is of great importance to provide future teachers with the necessary competencies to effectively integrate GBL and GF into the classroom. Against this background, a teaching concept for higher education was developed and evaluated in terms of achievement. However, existing visual inquiry tools rarely consider recent design knowledge or ecosystem understanding. This leads to dissatisfied users and impedes the full realization of ecosystems’ potential. This short paper proposes an archaeological design science approach for enhancing the design of visual inquiry tools (e.g., a canvas) for ecosystems. Preliminary findings reveal 24 relevant artifacts, and shortcomings in the creation of conceptual models and rigorous evaluations. The proposed research process aims to develop design principles for more effective tools to bridge the gap between visual inquiry tools and ecosystems. This research contributes to design science research by reutilizing design knowledge and further developing the archaeological design approach. Anhand eines Lehr-Lern-Arrangements zum argumentierenden Schreiben wird exemplarisch gezeigt, wie das Tool im Deutschunterricht eingesetzt werden kann. Der Umgang mit und die Bewertung von Evidenzen stellen somit vor dem Hintergrund epistemologischer Überzeugungen relevante Aufgaben für den Chemieunterricht dar. Dabei ist unklar, inwiefern (angehende) Lehrkräfte über Kompetenzen in EBP verfügen. Bestehende Studien weisen auf einen Bedarf der fachdidaktischen Analyse und Förderung von Kompetenzen in EBP bei angehenden Lehrkräften hin.Im Rahmen dieser Dissertation wurde die Domänenspezifität der Kompetenzen in EBP sowie deren Förderung in einem fachdidaktischen Kontext untersucht. Dabei wurde ein weiterer Schwerpunkt auf den Umgang mit anomalen Beobachtungen im Sinne widersprüchlicher Evidenzen gelegt. Innerhalb von drei Teilstudien wurden unterschiedliche methodische Zugänge zur Kompetenz in EBP auf Grundlage epistemologischer Überzeugungen gewählt.Die Ergebnisse weisen auf einen Förderbedarf der Kompetenz in EBP für angehende Lehrkräfte aller Unterrichtsfächer hin. Therefore, using evidence based on epistemological beliefs is a relevant task for scienceeducation. However, i t is unclear whether pre service teachers hold necessary competences in EBP.Existing research indicates a need for the analysis and promotion of competences in EBP for pre serviceteachers from a scien ce education perspective.This project aims at investigating the domainspecificity and promotion of competences in EBP of preservice teachers. An additional emphasis is put on the reaction to anomalous observations ascontradictory evidence. Within three sub studies, different methodological approaches were used togather insights into the competence in EBP from the base of epistemological beliefs.As results show, there is a need for promotion in competences in EBP for preservice teachers in allsubjects. Therefore, the developed intervention for the promotion of pre service chemistry teacherscompetence in EBP shows to be effective. To successfully position their products in the market, product managers need to gather and analyze comprehensive information about customers, developments in the products’ environment, product usage, and more. The digitization of all aspects of life is making data on these topics increasingly available – via social media, documents, or the internet of things from the products themselves. The systematic collection and analysis of these data enable the exploitation of new potentials for the adaption of existing products and the creation of the products of tomorrow. However, there are still no insights into the main concepts and cause-effect relationships in exploiting data-driven approaches for product management. Therefore, this paper aims to identify the main concepts and advantages of data-driven product management. To answer the corresponding research questions a comprehensive systematic literature review is conducted. From its results, a detailed description of the main concepts of data-driven product management is derived. Furthermore, a taxonomy for the advantages of data-driven product management is presented. In this paper, a rule-based method for selecting design guidelines for material circularity selection is presented. For this purpose, a generic Product Life Cycle model is detailed with regard to Multi Material cycles (gPLC-MM). The presented method is divided into four steps. Core of the presented method is the comparison of circular product strategies with product life phases and material recovery processes. Engineering activities and increments of the product architecture are used to identify design guidelines. The results show that through the material circularity-oriented design guideline identification method, the product architecture is designed for different processes and technologies, to recover materials.
