Entangled systems with a large number of photons are of great interest at present because they provide a platform for streaming technologies based on photonics. In this paper we present a device which operates with four-photons and based on the Hong–Ou–Mandel interference. The presented device allows to maximize the degree of spatial entanglement and generate the highly entangled four-dimensional Bell states. Furthermore, the use of the interferometer in different regimes leads to fast interference fringes in the coincidence probability with period of oscillations twice smaller than the pump wavelength. The raw material is a polymer powder which is melted layerwise by the use of laser energy. Especially for the production of single parts, small series, individualized and complex structures, the technology is yet established in few branches. However, inhomogeneous and hardly controllable thermal effects during manufacturing limit the build reproducibility. The present work focuses on temperatures within so-called part cakes, their time dependency and their influence on process quality. Therefore, a temperature measurement system is implemented into a commercial laser sintering machine. Based on the experimental data a model to simulate heat transfer within part cakes is set up. Individual thermal histories during processing are successfully correlated with position dependent powder ageing effects. Another focus is on the analysis of a recycling optimized material. First results of correlations between thermal histories and part properties are shown in order to provide an outlook to further research. The data and knowledge gained through this work can be used to understand thermal effects in greater depth and to increase the process quality via optimizations.","lang":"eng"}],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"keyword":["Additive Manufacturing","Polymer Laser Sintering","Polymer Science"]},{"date_created":"2019-12-16T17:50:08Z","title":"Understanding Artificial Intelligence – A Project for the Development of Comprehensive Teaching Material","quality_controlled":"1","year":"2019","keyword":["Artificial Intelligence","Machine Learning","Teaching Material","Societal Aspects","Ethics. The long tradition of ethical considerations concerning investment behavior has often been mentioned by historians but rarely investigated. This paper presents a case study of the 19th century philhellene banker Jean-Gabriel Eynard,\r\nwho was philanthropically active in Greece, but also invested part of his capital on the emerging Greek market. Drawing on the methodological approach of the “sociology of morality”, this article examines how Eynard invested in Greece, which norms and values concerning investment behavior he articulated and how far they were comparable with the norms and values of today’s Socially Responsible Investment. However, the attribution of importance and reputation to women’s intellectual achievements in this period is a case of its own. This paper investigates the methodical attempt of 18th century historiography, presenting the example of Jakob Brucker and his Pinacoteca to relocate intellectual women in his history of philosophy and science. The relative integration of women into the 18th century intellectual sphere is the starting point of this methodical investigation to retrace its ‘why and how’.\r\nKeywords : Emilie Du Châtelet, Luise Gottsched, Laura Bassi, History, Philoso-phy, Science.","lang":"eng"}],"status":"public","date_updated":"2023-01-12T09:48:01Z","publisher":"Fabrizio Serra Roma Pisa ","volume":"Suppl XLIII","author":[{"first_name":"Ruth","last_name":"Hagengruber","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0003-3360-6335","id":"198","full_name":"Hagengruber, Ruth"}],"date_created":"2019-08-16T10:22:05Z","title":"Relocating Women in the History of Philosophy and Science.
","lang":"eng"}],"keyword":["Political Science and International Relations","Linguistics and Language","Sociology and Political Science","Language and Linguistics"],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}]},{"publication_identifier":{"issn":["14228890"]},"has_accepted_license":"1","publication_status":"published","intvolume":" 29","page":"7-18","citation":{"chicago":"Beverungen, Daniel, Oliver Müller, Martin Matzner, Jan Mendling, and Jan vom Brocke. “Conceptualizing Smart Service Systems.” Electronic Markets 29 (2019): 7–18. https://doi.org/10.1007/s12525-017-0270-5.","ieee":"D. These “smart products”, which enable the co-creation of “smart service” that is based on monitoring, optimization, remote control, and autonomous adaptation of products, profoundly transform service systems into what we call “smart service systems”. In a multi-method study that includes conceptual research and qualitative data from in-depth interviews, we conceptualize “smart service” and “smart service systems” based on using smart products as boundary objects that integrate service consumers’ and service providers’ resources and activities. Smart products allow both actors to retrieve and to analyze aggregated field evidence and to adapt service systems based on contextual data. We discuss the implications that the introduction of smart service systems have for foundational concepts of service science and conclude that smart service systems are characterized by technology-mediated, continuous, and routinized interactions."}],"file":[{"relation":"main_file","success":1,"content_type":"application/pdf","file_id":"53575","file_name":"Beverungen_et_al-Conceptualizing_Smart_Service_Systems.pdf","access_level":"closed","file_size":599681,"creator":"dabe","date_created":"2024-04-18T12:53:07Z","date_updated":"2024-04-18T12:53:07Z"}],"keyword":["Boundary object","Internet of things","Service science","Smart products","Smart service"],"ddc":["380"],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}]},{"publisher":"Informa UK Limited","date_created":"2023-01-27T16:43:34Z","title":"Depth camera based statistical shape fitting approach for the creation of an individualized lower body biomechanical model: validity and reliability","issue":"1","year":"2019","keyword":["Computer Science Applications","Human-Computer Interaction","Biomedical Engineering","General Medicine","Bioengineering"],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"publication":"Computer Methods in Biomechanics and Biomedical Engineering","date_updated":"2023-01-27T16:43:46Z","volume":23,"author":[{"full_name":"Taetz, Bertram","last_name":"Taetz","first_name":"Bertram"},{"first_name":"Wolfgang","last_name":"Teufl","full_name":"Teufl, Wolfgang"},{"first_name":"Alexander","last_name":"Weidmann","full_name":"Weidmann, Alexander"},{"first_name":"Juliane","full_name":"Pietschmann, Juliane","last_name":"Pietschmann"},{"first_name":"Thomas","full_name":"Jöllenbeck, Thomas","last_name":"Jöllenbeck"},{"full_name":"Bleser, Gabriele","last_name":"Bleser","first_name":"Gabriele"}],"doi":"10.1080/10255842.2019.1688310","publication_identifier":{"issn":["1025-5842","1476-8259"]},"publication_status":"published","page":"12-22","intvolume":" 23","citation":{"apa":"Taetz, B., Teufl, W., Weidmann, A., Pietschmann, J., Jöllenbeck, T., & Bleser, G.
