Our limits include limit transitions for the spherical functions of non-compact Grassmann manifolds over one of the fields <jats:inline-formula><jats:alternatives><jats:inline-graphic xmlns:xlink=\"http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink\" mime-subtype=\"gif\" xlink:type=\"simple\" xlink:href=\"S0010437X13007045_inline9\" /><jats:tex-math>$ \\mathbb{F} = \\mathbb{R} , \\mathbb{C} , \\mathbb{H} $</jats:tex-math></jats:alternatives></jats:inline-formula> when the rank is fixed and the dimension tends to infinity. Bimetallic NPs, composed of two metal elements can show an improved catalytic activity compared to the monometallic NPs. We, herein, report on the selective aerobic oxidation of benzyl alcohol catalyzed by unsupported Pd/Au and Pd NPs at atmospheric pressure. NPs of varying compositions were synthesized and characterized by UV/Vis spectroscopy, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and small-angle X-ray scattering (SAXS). The NPs were tested in the model reaction regarding their catalytic activity, stability, and recyclability in batch and continuous procedure. This is achieved by using bounds obtained from the Smith–Minkowski–Siegel mass formula to computationally construct the square-free determinant lattices with this property, and then repeatedly calculating pre-images under a mapping first introduced by G. L. Watson.\r\n\r\nWe hereby complete the classification of single-class genera in dimensions 4 and 5 and correct some mistakes in Watson’s classifications in other dimensions. In an attempt to understand the (alarming) character of procrastination, a large body of research on the causes, correlates, and consequences of procrastination has been accumulating over the last 40 years. The aim of this paper is to provide a systematic characterization of the trends in procrastination research and to suggest future directions for research and practice. The systematic characterization comprises a comparison of procrastination to functional forms of delay (referred to as strategic delay) and a presentation of the theoretical approaches to explaining procrastination.
