"}],"date_created":"2024-02-12T12:37:09Z","type":"journal_article","keyword":["Rehabilitation","Physical Therapy","Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation","General Medicine"],"department":[{"_id":"477"}],"title":"Erziehungswissenschaft als Verunsicherungswissenschaft. We assume that the receivers have perfect channel state information (CSI), while the transmitters have access to only statistical CSI. Under these assumptions, we consider a signaling scheme, which we refer to as proper/improper Gaussian signaling or PGS/IGS, where at most one user may employ IGS. For the Rayleigh fading channel model, we characterize the statistical distribution of the signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio at each receiver and derive closed-form expressions for the ergodic rates. By adapting the powers, we characterize the Pareto boundary of the ergodic rate region for the 2-user fading IC. The ergodic transmission rates can be attained using fixed-rate codebooks and no optimization is involved. Our results show that, in the moderate and strong interference regimes, the proposed PGS/IGS scheme improves the performance with respect to the PGS scheme. Additionally, we numerically compute the ergodic rate region of the full IGS scheme when both users can employ IGS and their transmission parameters are optimized by an exhaustive search. Our results suggest that most of the Pareto optimal points for the 2-user fading IC channel are attained when either both users transmit PGS or when one transmits PGS and the other transmits maximally improper Gaussian signals and time sharing is allowed.
"}],"issue":"10","publication":"Entropy","keyword":["General Physics and Astronomy"],"type":"journal_article","department":[{"_id":"263"}],"date_created":"2024-04-05T09:07:05Z","status":"public","user_id":"67076","volume":21,"publisher":"MDPI AG","_id":"53274","citation":{"mla":"Soleymani, Mohammad, et al. “Ergodic Rate for Fading Interference Channels with Proper and Improper Gaussian Signaling.” <i>Entropy</i>, vol. 21, no. 10, 922, MDPI AG, 2019, doi:<a href=\"https://doi.org/10.3390/e21100922\">10.3390/e21100922</a>.","ama":"Soleymani M, Santamaria I, Lameiro C, Schreier PJ. This study investigates factors influencing employeesʼ intention to stay. Therefore, we developed and analyzed a retention model relating to the voluntary turnover model ( Allen et al., 2010 ). We assume that the decision processes for retention and turnover might be similar. Differences can be found in the initiating factors (the drivers for leaving and staying). We combine empirically evident retention drivers, which are weighted regarding their implementation in the organization, with process variables from the turnover model. The model is tested with a sample of 881 German employees using structural equation modeling. Results show a significant indirect effect of the retention drivers on the intention to stay. The influence is mediated by the key attitudes job satisfaction and affective commitment. A psychological contract breach influences the relationship between job satisfaction and intention to stay, but not between affective commitment and intention to stay. We integrated research from Human Resource Management (HRM) into the framework of voluntary turnover.
"}],"publication":"Zeitschrift für Arbeits- und Organisationspsychologie","issue":"4","department":[{"_id":"36"},{"_id":"117"},{"_id":"31"},{"_id":"423"}],"type":"journal_article","keyword":["Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management","Applied Psychology"],"date_created":"2023-01-18T07:41:51Z","article_type":"original","intvolume":" 63","publication_status":"published","date_updated":"2023-01-18T07:45:16Z","publication_identifier":{"issn":["0932-4089","2190-6270"]},"author":[{"id":"3211","full_name":"Bender, Elena","first_name":"Elena","last_name":"Bender"},{"last_name":"Schaper","first_name":"Niclas","full_name":"Schaper, Niclas"},{"id":"59707","first_name":"Mirko","last_name":"Schürmann","orcid":"0000-0003-2646-085X","full_name":"Schürmann, Mirko"}],"year":"2019","title":"Factors Driving Employeesʼ Intention to Stay","alternative_title":["Combining Retention Management and Research in Voluntary Turnover"],"doi":"10.1026/0932-4089/a000313","language":[{"iso":"ger"}]},{"status":"public","volume":7,"user_id":"254","publisher":"Wiley","_id":"35872","citation":{"apa":"Zhang, B., Schmidtke, J., &#38; Kitzerow, H.-S.
