To support these students at mastering this transition, various universities have introduced support measures of various kinds. We will exemplify the use of the taxonomy in the description of one specific innovative measure that was part of the WiGeMath evaluations. (2013).\r\n\r\nThis article reports on a massive speedup of this algorithm. This is primary achieved by our new concept of Galois-generating subfields. In general this is a very small set of subfields that determine all other subfields in a group-theoretic way. We compute them by targeted calls to the method from van Hoeij et al. (2013). For an early termination of these calls, we give a list of criteria that imply that further calls will not result in additional subfields.\r\n\r\nFinally, we explain how we use subfields to get a good starting group for the computation of Galois groups.","lang":"eng"}],"publication":"Journal of Symbolic Computation","department":[{"_id":"102"}],"keyword":["Computational Mathematics","Algebra and Number Theory"],"type":"journal_article","date_created":"2022-12-22T10:52:18Z","intvolume":" 93","publication_status":"published","date_updated":"2023-03-06T09:05:51Z","author":[{"full_name":"Elsenhans, Andreas-Stephan","last_name":"Elsenhans","first_name":"Andreas-Stephan"},{"id":"21202","last_name":"Klüners","first_name":"Jürgen","full_name":"Klüners, Jürgen"}],"publication_identifier":{"issn":["0747-7171"]},"year":"2018","title":"Computing subfields of number fields and applications to Galois group computations","doi":"10.1016/j.jsc.2018.04.013","language":[{"iso":"eng"}]},{"publisher":"Frontiers Media SA","_id":"32439","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"user_id":"46","doi":"10.3389/fnbeh.2018.00102","volume":12,"year":"2018","status":"public","title":"Exergames Inherently Contain Cognitive Elements as Indicated by Cortical Processing","publication_identifier":{"issn":["1662-5153"]},"author":[{"last_name":"Anders","first_name":"Phillipp","full_name":"Anders, Phillipp"},{"id":"41584","full_name":"Lehmann, Tim","last_name":"Lehmann","first_name":"Tim"},{"full_name":"Müller, Helen","last_name":"Müller","first_name":"Helen"},{"last_name":"Grønvik","first_name":"Karoline B.","full_name":"Grønvik, Karoline B."},{"first_name":"Nina","last_name":"Skjæret-Maroni","full_name":"Skjæret-Maroni, Nina"},{"id":"46","orcid":"0000-0003-2683-5826","last_name":"Baumeister","first_name":"Jochen","full_name":"Baumeister, Jochen"},{"full_name":"Vereijken, Beatrix","last_name":"Vereijken","first_name":"Beatrix"}],"publication_status":"published","date_updated":"2023-03-13T15:18:31Z","intvolume":" 12","date_created":"2022-07-27T07:49:41Z","keyword":["Behavioral Neuroscience","Cognitive Neuroscience","Neuropsychology and Physiological Psychology"],"type":"journal_article","department":[{"_id":"17"},{"_id":"172"}],"publication":"Frontiers in Behavioral Neuroscience","citation":{"chicago":"Anders, Phillipp, Tim Lehmann, Helen Müller, Karoline B.
