The future existence and success of the organization is depending on selected product ideas. To find the best fitting idea for an organization, it needs evaluation criteria representing the organizations mission Therefore, this study focuses on a holistic overview about evaluation criteria and on supporting organizations in the process to select its individual evaluation criteria. Based on a literature study, existing approaches regarding evaluation criteria in product idea selection are identified and a list of evaluation criteria is reworked. Using the list of evaluation criteria, a prioritization method is created. Within an interview with experts in innovation management, the method is discussed regarding usability and the level of assistance in product idea selection. The developed criteria can be used directly by innovation manager and industrial practitioners to evaluate potential product ideas.","lang":"eng"}],"user_id":"44158","citation":{"chicago":"Gräßler, Iris, and Anna-Sophie Koch. “Evaluation Criteria in Product Idea Selection Decisions.” In XXXIII Proceedings of the ISPIM Innovation Conference. For selecting the most promising ideas, several methods exist which each focus on a certain aspect. Due to the characteristics of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) such as limited resources, these enterprises have special requirements on methods for selecting ideas. In this study, criteria of SMEs for idea selection are deducted from SME-characteristics. Methods for idea selection are tested for fulfillment of these criteria and the results are combined in a matrix. Together with a guideline, a tool for idea selection in innovation management of SMEs is developed. The results are validated in the context of innovation management in SMEs. The primary data structure for performing an inter-procedural static analysis is call-graph (CG), which links call sites to potential call targets in a program. There exists multiple algorithms for constructing callgraphs, tailored to specific languages. However, comparatively few implementations target PYTHON. Moreover, there is still lack of empirical evidence as to how these few algorithms perform in terms of precision and recall. This paper thus presents EVAL_CG, an extensible framework for comparative analysis of Python call-graphs. We conducted two experiments which run the CG algorithms on different Python programming constructs and real-world applications. In both experiments, we evaluate three CG generation frameworks namely, Code2flow, Pyan, and Wala. We record precision, recall, and running time, and identify sources of unsoundness of each framework. Our evaluation shows that none of the current CG construction frameworks produce a sound CG. Moreover, the static CGs contain many spurious edges. Code2flow is also comparatively slow. Hence, further research is needed to support CG generation for Python programs."}],"user_id":"72582","title":"Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Callgraph Algorithms for PYTHON","main_file_link":[{"url":"https://ieeexplore.ieee.org/document/9392986"}],"language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"type":"conference","year":"2021","citation":{"ieee":"S. As a baseline result, we initially find an increase in portfolio (downside) risk-diversification when adding CDS indices, which is observed irrespective of both CDS markets, investor-types and different sub-periods, including the global financial crisis and European sovereign debt crisis. In addition, the analysis reveals higher portfolio excess returns and performance in CDS index portfolios, however, these effects clearly differ between markets, investor-types and sub-periods. Overall, portfolio benefits of adding CDS indices mainly result from the fact that institutional investors replace sovereign bond indices rather than stock indices by CDS indices due to better risk-return characteristics. Our baseline findings remain robust under a variety of robustness checks. Results from sensitivity analyses provide further important implications for institutional investors with a strategic focus on a long-term conservative portfolio management."}],"user_id":"36049","author":[{"first_name":"Benjamin","full_name":"Hippert, Benjamin","last_name":"Hippert","id":"48476"},{"full_name":"Uhde, André","orcid":"https://orcid.org/0000-0002-8058-8857","first_name":"André","id":"36049","last_name":"Uhde"},{"last_name":"Wengerek","id":"48837","first_name":"Sascha Tobias","orcid":"0000-0002-7820-3903","full_name":"Wengerek, Sascha Tobias"}],"keyword":["Corporate credit default swap indices","Mean-variance asset allocation","Out-of-sample portfolio optimization","Portfolio risk-diversification","Portfolio performance evaluation"],"publication":"Review of Derivatives Research ","status":"public","date_created":"2018-10-01T12:17:35Z","jel":["C61","G01","G11","G15","G23"],"volume":22,"date_updated":"2022-05-04T06:15:02Z","doi":"https://doi.org/10.1007/s11147-018-9148-8","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"title":"Portfolio Benefits of Adding Corporate Credit Default Swap Indices: Evidence from North America and Europe","department":[{"_id":"188"},{"_id":"186"}],"publication_status":"published"},{"doi":"10.3278/HSL1705W","date_updated":"2023-01-09T15:10:03Z","language":[{"iso":"ger"}],"title":"Das Praxissemester fachdidaktisch in den Blick nehmen","publication_identifier":{"issn":[" 2199-8825"]},"publication_status":"published","department":[{"_id":"33"}],"issue":"1","_id":"35315","intvolume":" 3","page":"1-19","type":"journal_article","citation":{"apa":"Wosnitza, C., Caruso, C., & Vogelsang, C. Zunehmend wird untersucht, ob und in welcher Form Studierende die für diesen Ausbildungsabschnitt vorgesehenen Standards erreichen. During the most master degree programs for teacher education in Germany, prospective teachers have to do an internship lasting one semester at a school (practical semester). Recent educational research focuses on the effectiveness of these internships, questioning how prospective teachers develop professional competencies for teaching. Most projects mainly consider more general aspects of professional competence, like pedagogical knowledge. Therefore, there is a need for research taking into account aspects of teachers’ professional competence when teaching their subjects, like pedagogical content knowledge. To fill this gap, the interdisciplinary research group “Subject matter education research on practical semesters” was founded at Paderborn University. This group connects subject matter education researchers from different institutes to discuss their own and develop collaborative projects. Main objective of this group is to generate insights for the further development of long term internships in teacher training based on empirical evidence. Three institutions are involved in the organization of practical semesters in Germany: universities, the Centers for practical teacher training and the internship schools. Given this organizational situation, the research group in particular takes a closer look at the relationship between theory and practice in teacher training. In this article different projects focusing on different domains (religious education, history, physics, physical education, science for primary schools) are described and discussed regarding general models of teachers’ professional competence.\r\n"}],"date_created":"2023-01-06T06:45:22Z","status":"public","volume":3,"alternative_title":["Zugänge einer interdisziplinären Forschungsgruppe an der Universität Paderborn"],"keyword":["Praxissemester","Lehrer/innenbildung","Evaluation","Kompetenzentwicklung","Fachdidaktik / school internships","teacher education","evaluation","professional competence","subject matter education"],"publication":"die hochschullehre","publisher":"wbv","author":[{"full_name":"Wosnitza, Christopher","first_name":"Christopher","last_name":"Wosnitza"},{"id":"23123","last_name":"Caruso","full_name":"Caruso, Carina","first_name":"Carina"},{"first_name":"Christoph","full_name":"Vogelsang, Christoph","last_name":"Vogelsang","id":"4245"}]},{"author":[{"id":"30984","last_name":"Goller","orcid":"0000-0002-2820-9178","full_name":"Goller, Michael","first_name":"Michael"}],"publication":"die hochschullehre","keyword":["Direkte Instruktion","Evaluation","Kooperatives Lernen","Methodenausbildung","Paderborn","Scholarship of Teaching and Learning"],"department":[{"_id":"452"}],"publication_status":"published","status":"public","date_created":"2022-02-04T09:06:28Z","abstract":[{"lang":"ger","text":"Im Sinne eines Scholarship of Teaching and Learning wird in diesem Aufsatz die Neugestaltung einer eigenständig durchgeführten Lehrveranstaltung im Bereich der Forschungsmethoden empirisch untersucht.
