text: " Over the last decades, Comparative Theology has established itself in varying
methodological ways while considering the reality and plurality of religions.
Although Comparative Theology can be a confessional or a non-confessional endeavor,
most protagonists and theorists have been Western Christians. This could lead
to the conclusion that Comparative Theology is in fact a Christian undertaking
and implicitly or explicitly bound to conceptions like Christology. Furthermore,
it could be argued that there is a certain asymmetry of power in the discourse
between religions when the parameters of Comparative Theology are defined mainly
by Christian theologians.\r\n\r\nThis volume aims to be the first step to programmatically
and conceptionally explore the possibility of a genuinely Islamic Comparative
Theology in a constructive endeavor. This endeavor should neither be misunderstood
as an apologetic questioning of the status quo in Comparative Theology nor as
a project that deconstructs Comparative Theology. Rather, by searching for new
approaches from the Islamic traditions it opens up ways and forms of learning,
hermeneutically complementary with prominent attitudes, methods in Comparative
    Theology. "

investigates how secondary students construct and evaluate decision trees in an
open exploratory task using CODAP. By analyzing students’ tree products and oral
self-reports, we identified different data-based and context-based approaches
to predictor selection and stopping criteria. Students engaged with key ideas
of predictive modeling, including classification, model construction, accuracy,
generalization, and interpretability. Informal exploration offered rich opportunities
for subsequent teaching by enabling students to begin reconstructing central technical
ideas and critical tensions of predictive modeling through diverse but meaningful
    reasoning approaches.
"

text: The circular economy offers decisive advantages over the currently prevalent
linear economy in industry. Firstly, the reuse of products, individual parts and
material reduces the need for new production or generation and the associated
consumption of energy and resources. Secondly, it helps to avoid the generation
of waste. Early consideration of circular economic principles in product development
processes is essential to specifically promote reuse, reparability and recycling.
Efficient recycling of assemblies requires well-defined strategies. However, various
challenges hinder the efficiency of technical recycling processes in industrial
applications. This paper presents an Ishikawa (fishbone) diagram-based approach
to systematically identify and categorize these influences. The method is implemented
within an industrial framework, highlighting key obstacles such as material composition,
design constraints, use of technology, framework conditions, economic limitations
and regulatory challenges. By applying a scenario analysis, this approach examines
potential future developments and their impact on recycling-oriented design choices.
This helps to identify critical influencing factors and supports the development
of resilient and sustainable industrial practices. This framework will serve as
the foundation for developing an automated approach to circular design, enabling
industries to more effectively integrate sustainability into their processes and
    adapt to changing environmental demands.

text: 'In June 2025, Iran enacted a nationwide Internet shutdown, culminating its
already strict censorship apparatus. While Internet shutdowns happen regularly,
insights into these shutdowns are notoriously difficult to obtain: their timing
is hard to predict, and measurements are often impossible. In this paper, we present
unique measurements surrounding Iran’s 2025 Internet shutdown in June, which we
acquired during a regular analysis of Iran’s censorship apparatus. We contextualize
our findings of Iranian DNS, HTTP, TLS, and QUIC censorship during the shutdown
with measurements from platforms such as Cloudflare Radar and user reports. Our
measurements show that Iranian censorship changed before and after the shutdown,
marking preparation and recovery periods. For instance, QUIC censorship went into
effect before and stayed in effect after the shutdown, while DNS over TCP censorship
was only present briefly before the shutdown and resumed working afterwards. We
also measured general network instabilities, especially for UDP, after the shutdown
and the disabling of certain middleboxes. Our findings indicate that the Iranian
censor enforced its shutdown using fine-grained techniques instead of relying
on an all-or-nothing blackout. We advertise for continued measurements of the
Iranian censor and hypothesize that future shutdowns in censoring countries could
be detected during their preparation phase.'

text: "Purpose: The purpose of this study is to identify, analyze, and explain the
implications that could\r\narise for service settings if AI systems develop, or
are perceived to develop, consciousness – the\r\nability to acknowledge their
own existence and the capacity for positive or negative experiences.\r\n\r\nDesign/methodology/approach:
This study proposes and explores four hypothetical scenarios in\r\nwhich conscious
AI in service could manifest. We contextualize our resulting typology in the\r\nhealth
service context and integrate extant literature on technology-enabled service,
AI\r\nconsciousness, and AI ethics into the narrative.\r\n\r\nFindings: This study
provides a unique theoretical contribution to service research in the form of\r\na
Type IV theory. It enables future service researchers to apprehend, explain, and
predict how\r\nfunctionally conscious AI in service might unfold.\r\n\r\nOriginality:
An increasingly prolific public discourse acknowledges that conscious AI systems\r\nmay
emerge. Against this backdrop, this study aims to systematically explore a question
that is\r\nperhaps the most critical and timely, but also inherently speculative,
in relation to AI in service\r\nresearch by introducing much-needed theory and
terminology.\r\n\r\nPractical implications: The ethical use of conscious AI in
service could emerge as a distinct\r\ncompetitive advantage in the future. Achieving
this outcome involves speculative yet actionable\r\nrecommendations that include
training, guiding, and controlling how humans engage with such\r\nsystems, developing
appropriate wellbeing protocols for functionally conscious AI systems, and\r\nestablishing
    AI rights and governance frameworks."

text: We investigate generalisations of 1-factorisations and hyperfactorisations
of the complete graph $K_{2n}$. We show that they are special subsets of the association
scheme obtained from the Gelfand pair $(S_{2n},S_2 \wr S_n)$. This unifies and
extends results by Cameron (1976) and gives rise to new existence and non-existence
results. Our methods involve working in the group algebra $\mathbb{C}[S_{2n}]$
and using the representation theory of $S_{2n}$.

text: Alkaline oxygen evolution on Co3O4 involves more than adsorption and electron
transfer at a fixed surface. The article draws on operando electrochemical quartz
crystal microbalance with dissipation monitoring (EQCM-D), surface X-ray diffraction
(SXRD), Raman, UV/Vis and impedance spectroscopy. On this basis, it discusses
pseudocapacitive oxidation of cobalt ion sites, electrolyte uptake and near-surface
transformation, and asks which of these changes are kinetically coupled to electrocatalysis.

  text:
Stimulated by the renewed interest and recent developments in semiempirical
quantum chemical (SQC) methods for noncovalent interactions, we examine the properties
of liquid water under ambient conditions by means of molecular dynamics (MD) simulations,
both with the conventional neglect of diatomic differential overlap-type methods,
    e.g., AM1 and PM6, and with DFTB-type (density-functional tight-binding) methods,
    e.g., DFTB2 and GFN-xTB (Geometry-Frequency-Noncovalent eXtended Tight-Binding).
Besides the original parameter sets, some specifically reparameterized SQC methods
(denoted as AM1-W, PM6-fm, and DFTB2-iBi) targeting various smaller water systems
ranging from molecular clusters to bulk are considered as well. The quality of
these different SQC methods for describing liquid water properties under ambient
conditions is assessed by comparison with well-established experimental data and
also with BLYP-D3 density functional theory-based ab initio MD simulations. Our
analyses reveal that static and dynamic properties of bulk water are poorly described
by all considered SQC methods with the original parameters, regardless of the
underlying theoretical models, with most of the methods suffering from too weak
hydrogen bonds and hence predicting a far too fluid water with highly distorted
hydrogen bond kinetics. Meanwhile, the reparameterized force-matched PM6-fm method
is shown to be able to quantitatively reproduce the static and dynamic features
of liquid water and thus can be used as a computationally efficient alternative
to electronic structure-based MD simulations for liquid water that requires extended
length and time scales. DFTB2-iBi predicts a slightly overstructured water with
reduced fluidity, whereas AM1-W gives an amorphous ice-like structure for water
    under ambient conditions.

text: "The Circular Economy is considered a key approach to addressing resource
scarcity, rising raw material prices, and the need for more resilient value chains.
However, its practical implementation is often hindered by the lack of suitable
and standardized metrics, as well as by high requirements for horizontal and vertical
data integration. This white paper illustrates, through selected Manufacturing-X
projects, how federated data ecosystems can help establish Circular Economy metrics
as an effective management instrument for growth, margin protection, and resilience.\r\nBased
on literature, industrial practice, and demonstrators, Circular Economy metrics
are structured into four groups: overarching assessment approaches, disassembly-related
indicators, lifetime-oriented metrics, and end-of-life and recycling-focused indicators.
    Use cases from Construct-X, Decide4ECO, Fluid 4.0, Chem-X, and other Manufacturing-X
initiatives demonstrate the benefits of data-driven approaches for product, component,
and material loops. At the same time, they reveal a current lack of interoperable,
cross-industry standards for both metrics and data models.\r\nThe white paper
concludes that data ecosystems such as Manufacturing-X are a key enabler for scaling
circular business models. In particular, shared cross-sector frameworks for metrics,
standardized information models based for example on the Asset Administration
Shell, and the integration of circular metrics into existing systems and processes
are essential. The work presented therefore marks an important step toward a data-driven
    and economically viable Circular Economy."

text: 'Scalable plasmonic technologies face a critical trade‐off: few‐body architectures
offer high enhancement but are sensitive to fabrication flaws, while scalable
methods like solid‐state dewetting yield large, low‐enhancement gaps. We introduce
a paradigm shift using a many‐body plasmonic architecture inspired by statistical
mechanics. By moving toward the continuum limit, local geometric variations are
statistically averaged out, effectively decoupling optical performance from microscopic
disorder. We implement this concept via a lithography‐ and etching‐free, multi‐step
dewetting strategy, creating wafer‐scale nanoclusters. This process strategically
forms a robust many‐body system by introducing numerous small satellite nanoparticles
between larger particles. Crucially, this design achieves a high collective enhancement
that surpasses even optimized few‐body systems, despite having larger individual
gaps. Under optimized conditions, these substrates exhibit a surface‐enhanced
Raman scattering enhancement factor approaching 4 × 10^8 with unprecedented reproducibility
(RSD of ∼10%). This scalable, low‐cost concept establishes a practical route toward
reproducible wafer‐scale nanophotonic platforms for sensing, spectroscopy, and
    quantum technologies.'

text: We introduce a method for determining the sensitivity of any given entangled
two-photon absorption (ETPA) measurement. By modeling all signal and noise contributions
to the measurement, we derive a single numerical value that describes the sensitivity
of the ETPA measurement in Göppert-Mayer units. This allows us to directly compare
vastly different experimental approaches and determine whether ETPA will be detectable
under the given conditions. Therefore we can quantify the effect of any change
to a given experimental apparatus and identify the ideal optimization pathway.
