text: Wissensmanagement ist im unternehmerischen Kontext ein etabliertes Feld der
Forschung und Praxis, das auf die Verbesserung von Effizienz und Wettbewerbsfähigkeit
abzielt. In den Organisationen der zivilen Gefahrenabwehr hingegen gibt es erhebliche
Defizite bei der Erfassung und Weitergabe von Wissen, obwohl auch hier große Abhängigkeiten
vom Erfahrungswissen bestehen. Diese Arbeit analysiert am Beispiel der Feuerwehr
die Gründe für diese Diskrepanz und entwickelt ein Konzept, das das Wissensmanagement
im Feuerwehrwesen nachhaltig verankern soll. Eine deutschlandweite Umfrage mit
577 Einsatzkräften ergab, dass eine digitale Verwaltungsunterstützung bereits
verbreitet ist, das Wissen jedoch vornehmlich per E-Mail, Chat, mündlich oder
per Aushang verteilt wird. Die Teilnehmenden wünschen sich eine Lösung für das
Wissensmanagement, die im Einsatz, bei Aus- und Weiterbildung sowie der Verwaltungsarbeit
unterstützt. Auf der Umfrage und einer systematischen Literaturrecherche aufbauend,
wurde der Handlungsbedarf identifiziert. Darauf basieren die Ableitung der Anwendungsbereiche
sowie Rahmenbedingungen, welche sich in den Anforderungen an ein Wissensmanagementsystem
widerspiegeln. Das Umsetzungskonzept beschreibt die Systemarchitektur der Lösung,
die auf einem open-source Wiki mit passenden Erweiterungen beruht. Zentrales Element
ist die Möglichkeit zum Austausch von Wissen über Organisationsgrenzen. Abgeschlossen
wird die Arbeit mit der Demonstration und Evaluation der Lösung.

text: In the corporate context, knowledge management is an established field of
research and practice that aims to improve efficiency and competitiveness. In
civil emergency response organizations, on the other hand, there are considerable
deficits in the acquisition and transfer of knowledge, although there is great
dependence on empirical knowledge, too. This paper uses the example of the fire
department to analyze the reasons for this discrepancy and develops a concept
to anchor knowledge management in the fire department in the long term. A Germany-wide
survey of 577 firefighters revealed that digital administrative support is already
widespread, but that knowledge is primarily distributed by email, chat, verbally
or via paper. The participants seek for a knowledge management solution that provides
support during incients, training, as well as administrative work.Based on the
survey and a systematic literature review, the need for action was identified.
The areas of application and framework conditions, which are reflected in the
requirements for a knowledge management system, are based on this. The implementation
concept describes the system architecture of the solution, which is based on an
open-source wiki with suitable extensions. The central element is the ability
to share knowledge across organizational boundaries. The work concludes with a
demonstration and evaluation of the solution.

text: Hypertree decompositions provide a way to evaluate Conjunctive Queries
(CQs) in polynomial time, where the exponent of this polynomial is determined
by the width of the decomposition. In theory, the goal of efficient CQ evaluation
therefore has to be a minimisation of the width. However, in practical settings,
it turns out that there are also other properties of a decomposition that influence
the performance of query evaluation. It is therefore of interest to restrict the
computation of decompositions by constraints and to guide this computation by
preferences. To this end, we propose a novel framework based on candidate tree
decompositions, which allows us to introduce soft hypertree width (shw). This
width measure is a relaxation of hypertree width (hw); it is never greater than
hw and, in some cases, shw may actually be lower than hw. Most importantly, shw
preserves the tractability of deciding if a given CQ is below some fixed bound,
while offering more algorithmic flexibility. In particular, it provides a natural
way to incorporate preferences and constraints into the computation of decompositions.
A prototype implementation and preliminary experiments confirm that this novel
framework can indeed have a practical impact on query evaluation.

text: Despite the advantages that the virtual knowledge graph paradigm has brought
to many application domains, state-of-the-art systems still do not support popular
graph database management systems like Neo4j. Their query rewriting algorithms
focus on languages like conjunctive queries and their unions, which were developed
for relational data and are poorly suited for graph data. Moreover, they also
limit the expressiveness of the ontology languages that admit rewritings, restricting
them to those that enjoy the so-called FO-rewritability property. Rewritings have
thus focused on the DL-Lite family of Description Logics. In this paper, we propose
a technique for rewriting a family of navigational queries for a suitably tailored
fragment of ELHI. Leveraging navigational features in the target query language,
we can include some widely-used axiom shapes not supported by DL-Lite. We implemented
a proof-of-concept prototype that rewrites into Cypher queries, and tested it
on a real-world cognitive neuroscience use case with promising results.

from various music research communities, including technologists, librarians,
music scholars, and students and provides an opportunity for learning and engaging

text: This study investigates the occurrence and mitigation of liquid metal
embrittlement occurring during resistance spot welding in deep-drawn automotive
components, specifically focusing on an S-Rail made from advanced high-strength
steel. A simulation-based liquid metal embrittlement risk criterion based on local
major component stresses was established and used to quantify and compare liquid
metal embrittlement risks between different tests. Experimental and numerical
analyses were conducted, revealing that springback significantly impacts liquid
metal embrittlement formation. Adjustments in electrode geometry and hold time
post-welding were found to mitigate liquid metal embrittlement risks. The effects
of stack-up configuration and related parameter settings on liquid metal embrittlement
occurrence were identified and liquid metal embrittlement was effectively prevented
across both stack-up configurations. These findings advance the understanding
of liquid metal embrittlement mechanisms and provide practical approaches to enhance
the spot weld quality in AHSS-based body-in-whites.

les Pays-Bas espagnols et le Saint-Empire romain germanique aux XVIe et XVIIe
siècles. À travers une structure politique complexe et morcelée, le Saint-Empire
incarne le principe de souveraineté partagée, tandis que les territoires bourguignons,
sous domination espagnole, cherchent à préserver leur rôle au sein de l’Empire
via le Cercle de Bourgogne. La montée en puissance de Louis XIV et sa politique
d’expansion fragilisent cet équilibre, forçant les diplomates espagnols à renforcer
les alliances impériales, bien que ces tentatives soient souvent entravées par

dans la relation entre les Pays-Bas espagnols et le Saint-Empire romain germanique

text: 'Wie soll man glücklich sein und sich damit zufriedengeben, von Ungerechten
beherrscht zu werden? Wenn diese Ungerechten zudem untereinander Kriege führen,
unter dessen Auswirkungen man leidet, ohne dass man die Möglichkeit hätte einzugreifen?
Wer kann in dieser Ohnmacht noch Glück finden? Und an die Herrscher gefragt: Wie
muss der ideale Politiker sein? Hierauf wollte Justus Lipsius Antworten anbieten.
Die Bedeutung dieser Fragen, die auch heute noch relevant sind, wird aus seiner
eigenen Zeit heraus nochmal präsent. Lipsius lebte nämlich in Zeiten intensiver
politischer und vor allem religiöser Konflikte, welche seine Biografie in mehreren
Punkten berühren. Er musste nicht nur mehrmals vor Konflikten fliehen, sondern
seine Werke wurden auch äußerst kritisch von der Kirche und den Landesherren betrachtet.
In diesem Beitrag wird zunächst kurz der Werdegang Lipsius‘ geschildert, bevor
auf zwei seiner wichtigsten Werke und deren Einfluss auf die Staatslehre jener
Zeit eingegangen wird.'

adaptiven Feedbacks\r\nzu argumentativen Lerner*innentexten. An einem Korpus aus
diesen Texten wird gezeigt, wie adap-\r\ntives Feedback auf Grundlage einer Mehrebenenannotation,
einem mehrdimensionalen Qualitäts-\r\nrating und Varianzanalysen modelliert werden
kann. Im Beitrag wird zunächst ein Überblick über\r\ncomputergestützte Unterstützungssysteme
zum Argumentieren gegeben und anschließend die An-\r\nnotation und das Rating
des Korpus beleuchtet. Daran anknüpfend wird das Feedbackverständnis\r\ndargelegt,
das den Ausgangspunkt für die Modellierung des Feedbacks bildet. Die Ergebnisse
der\r\nVarianzanalysen zeigen exemplarisch, welche argumentativen Textstrukturen

text: Das Museum der Unschuld in Istanbul präsentiert Dinge, die im gleichnamigen
Roman Orhan Pamuks eine Rolle spielen. Damit bietet es eine seltene Gelegenheit,
die vielfältigen Verknüpfungen zwischen Realität und Fiktion an realen Objekten
zu erleben, denen eine ‚ontologische Ambiguität‘ eigen ist, da sie fiktiven Personen
zuzuordnen sind. Was sie transportieren, sind die Stimmungen der Romankapitel.
In oft surreal anmutenden Kombinationen sind die Exponate in Dioramen ausgestellt
und wären als Illustration des Romans völlig missverstanden, da sie in ihrer oft
eigenwilligen Kombination eine eigene ‚Sprache der Dinge‘ entwickeln. Schüler:innen
können am Beispiel des Museums die metaphysische Energie der Dinge erleben, durch
die diese auf vergangene Situationen verweisen und so ein Speicher individueller
und kollektiver Erinnerung sind. Die ästhetische Dimension der Stimmung ermöglicht
es in unterschiedlichen Unterrichtssettings, transmedial die Aussagewerte verschiedener
Medien zu erproben und diese miteinander in einen assoziativen Dialog zu bringen.
