Entwicklung von Fortbildungsaktivitäten für den Inhaltsbereich der analytischen

text: Außerschulische Praktika sind trotz ihrer geografisch und historisch
unterschiedlichen Ausgestaltungen konstanter Bestandteil der Lehrkräftebildung
in Deutschland. Eine Diskussion ihres Beitrags zur Professionalisierung angehender
Lehrkräfte steht ebenso aus wie ein Versuch, die Vielfalt der Ausgestaltungsmöglichkeiten
darzulegen. Der vorliegende Band widmet sich beiden Leerstellen, indem zunächst
aus theoretischer Perspektive diskutiert wird, welchen Stellenwert außerschulische
Praktika im Rahmen der kontinuierlichen Professionsentwicklung im Lehramtsstudium
einnehmen können. Anhand des Berufsfeldpraktikums in Nordrhein-Westfalen werden
anschließend exemplarische Einblicke in verschiedene universitäre Praktikumskonzepte
und vielfältige Projekte und Kooperationen gegeben sowie erste empirische Befunde
zum Beitrag der außerschulischen Praxiserfahrungen dargestellt. Der Band vereint
unterschiedliche wissenschaftliche und praxisorientierte Perspektiven und Zugänge
aus der Erziehungswissenschaft, den Bildungs- und Sozialwissenschaften, der Allgemeinen

text: "TLS-Attacker is an open-source framework for analyzing Transport\r\nLayer
Security (TLS) implementations. The framework allows users\r\nto specify custom
protocol flows and provides modification hooks to\r\nmanipulate message contents.
Since its initial publication in 2016 by\r\nJuraj Somorovsky, TLS-Attacker has
been used in numerous studies\r\npublished at well-established conferences and
helped to identify\r\nvulnerabilities in well-known open-source TLS libraries.
To enable\r\nautomated analyses, TLS-Attacker has grown into a suite of projects,\r\neach
designed as a building block that can be applied to facilitate\r\nvarious analysis
methodologies. The framework still undergoes\r\ncontinuous improvements with feature
extensions, such as DTLS\r\n1.3 or the addition of new dialects such as QUIC,
to continue its\r\neffectiveness and relevancy as a security analysis framework."

text: Many countries limit their residents' access to various websites. As a substantial
number of these websites do not support TLS encryption, censorship of unencrypted
HTTP requests remains prevalent. Accordingly, circumvention techniques can and
have been found for the HTTP protocol. In this paper, we infer novel circumvention
techniques on the HTTP layer from a web security vulnerability by utilizing HTTP
request smuggling (HRS). To demonstrate the viability of our techniques, we collected
various test vectors from previous work about HRS and evaluated them on popular
web servers and censors in China, Russia, and Iran. Our findings show that HRS
can be successfully employed as a censorship circumvention technique against multiple
censors and web servers. We also discover a standard-compliant circumvention technique
in Russia, unusually inconsistent censorship in China, and an implementation bug
in Iran. The results of this work imply that censorship circumvention techniques
can successfully be constructed from existing vulnerabilities. We conjecture that
this implication provides insights to the censorship circumvention community beyond
the viability of specific techniques presented in this work.

text: "Das schulische Wohlbefinden ist ein grundlegendes, sozio-emo-\r\ntionales
Bedürfnis aller Schüler*innen und daher ein zentraler Qualitätsindikator\r\ninklusiver
Schulen. Wenig ist bislang jedoch über die Entwicklung des schulischen\r\nWohlbefindens
in inklusiven Klassen der Sekundarstufe I bekannt. Im Rahmen ei-\r\nnes internen
Evaluationsprozesses an der Laborschule Bielefeld, der inklusiven Ver-\r\nsuchsschule
des Landes Nordrhein-Westfalen, hat ein interdisziplinäres Team im\r\nForschungs-
und Entwicklungsprojekt „Wohlbefinden und Inklusion an der Labor-\r\nschule –
eine Selbstreflexion“ die Selbsteinschätzungen der Schüler*innen hinsicht-\r\nlich
ihres schulischen Wohlbefindens untersucht. Hierzu wurden alle Schüler*innen\r\nder
Jahrgangstufen 6 bis 10 zwischen 2013 und 2018 jährlich zu einer Befragung\r\neingeladen.
Auf der Grundlage des zugehörigen, mit vielen Messzeitpunkten und\r\nhoher Beteiligungsquote
ausgestatteten längsschnittlichen Datensatzes, wurden fürden vorliegenden Beitrag
lineare und quadratische Verläufe des schulischen Wohl-\r\nbefindens von Schüler*innen
aus inklusiven Lerngruppen der Sekundarstufe I ver-\r\ngleichend analysiert.\r\nUnter
Berücksichtigung von insgesamt sechs Komponenten des schulischen\r\nWohlbefindens
zeigt sich für zwei Komponenten eine lineare Entwicklung: Die\r\nAffinität zur
Stammgruppe (bzw. zur eigenen Klasse) nimmt über die Sekundarstu-\r\nfe I leicht
ab, ebenso die wahrgenommenen sozialen Probleme in der Schule. Die\r\nVerläufe
der drei Komponenten Einstellungen und Emotionen gegenüber der Schule,\r\nschulischer
Selbstwert und Sorgen wegen der Schule werden hingegen signifikant\r\nbesser durch
eine quadratische Modellierung abgebildet. Für diese zeigt sich mit\r\nzunehmender
Jahrgangsstufe eine weniger ausgeprägte Abnahme (Einstellungen\r\nund Emotionen
gegenüber der Schule, Abwesenheit von Sorgen wegen der Schule),\r\nder teilweise
eine Zunahme in höheren Jahrgangsstufen folgt (schulischer Selbstwert). Das Ausmaß
körperlicher Beschwerden verändert sich nicht signifikant in\r\nAbhängigkeit von
der Jahrgangsstufe. Schulpädagogische Implikationen werden im\r\nBeitrag ebenso
diskutiert wie die Perspektiven für künftige Forschung."

text: "In this paper, a group of nine international scholars reflect on the\r\ncollective
responsibilities of stakeholders within inclusive educa-\r\ntional settings. This
reflection was prompted by the need to identify\r\nspecific elements which would
support intentional, collective\r\nresponsibility to support authentic inclusion
for all students. In\r\norder to engender this collectivist mindset, mirroring
the metaphor\r\nof the nurturing village, the group conducted a qualitative study\r\nbased
on structured and semi-structured dialogue, written reflec-\r\ntions and previously
constructed research to inform a framework to\r\nsupport inclusivity more collectively.
Results suggest that nurturing\r\nspaces, empathetic relationships, supportive
networks and targeted\r\nteaching, all contribute to bona fide inclusion, especially
if this\r\nresponsibility is shared and cohesive. Data further revealed that\r\ninclusivity
is a values-driven process which flourishes when all\r\nstakeholders subscribe
to common values and tenets regarding\r\nsocially just educational provision.
The authors inculcate the vil-\r\nlage-mindset, a now popularly received notion,
reinforcing the\r\nneed for active and deliberate dialogue focusing on shared
respon-\r\nsibilities and vision. In this paper, we intend to reiterate the need
for\r\neducational systems which foster more collective, compassionate\r\nand
nurturing inclusive practice in educational settings."

text: "Previous research has identified the importance of teacher attitudes and
self-efficacy in supporting inclusive education. This study involved a multi-national
exploration of a further dimension of\r\ninclusive education, collective efficacy,
through the testing of a new tool, the Teacher Efficacy for Inclusive Practice-Collective
(TEIP-C) Scale. The study also aimed to investigate whether teacher\r\nattitudes,
self-efficacy, collective efficacy and intention to teach in inclusive classrooms
differ across countries. Participants included 1,523 teachers from Canada, Greece,
Italy and Switzerland. Results\r\nsuggested a two-factor structure for the TEIP-C,
Engagement, and Inclusive Pedagogies, with strong internal consistency for the
scale. Several differences across countries were identified, with teachers\r\nfrom
Italy reporting more positive attitudes towards inclusion and a greater intention
to teach in inclusive classrooms. Implications of the study in terms of further
strengthening inclusive practice are\r\ndiscussed."

text: "Inclusive education is a key goal of modern educational reforms, yet its\r\nimplementation
is complex. This study examines the roles of teacher\r\nattitudes and self-efficacy
in predicting their intentions to use inclusive\r\npractices across five western
countries: Canada, Germany, Greece, Italy,\r\nand Switzerland. The study identified
both significant differences and\r\ncommonalities in prediction patterns across
these countries. For instance,\r\nbeliefs about inclusion varied in their significance,
being the most\r\ninfluential predictor among Italian teachers, while managing
challenging behaviour was a key predictor for Swiss teachers only. For the other\r\npredictors,
no significant differences were found, and self-efficacy in\r\ncollaboration was
the strongest predictor nominally. The study suggests\r\nthat, while aspects such
as collaboration seem generally important across\r\ncountries, effective strategies
for promoting inclusive education may also\r\nneed to be tailored to each country’s
unique context, considering aspects of\r\nhistorical background of inclusive education,
teacher training, and support.\r\nIt also emphasizes the need to consider domain-specific
aspects of teacher\r\nself-efficacy, as different facets differently affect teachers’
intentions."

text: 'Multiobjective optimization plays an increasingly important role in modern
applications, where several criteria are often of equal importance. The task in
multiobjective optimization and multiobjective optimal control is therefore to
compute the set of optimal compromises (the Pareto set) between the conflicting
objectives. The advances in algorithms and the increasing interest in Pareto-optimal
solutions have led to a wide range of new applications related to optimal and
feedback control - potentially with non-smoothness both on the level of the objectives
or in the system dynamics. This results in new challenges such as dealing with
expensive models (e.g., governed by partial differential equations (PDEs)) and
developing dedicated algorithms handling the non-smoothness. Since in contrast
to single-objective optimization, the Pareto set generally consists of an infinite
number of solutions, the computational effort can quickly become challenging,
which is particularly problematic when the objectives are costly to evaluate or
when a solution has to be presented very quickly. This article gives an overview
of recent developments in the field of multiobjective optimization of non-smooth
PDE-constrained problems. In particular we report on the advances achieved within
Project 2 "Multiobjective Optimization of Non-Smooth PDE-Constrained Problems
- Switches, State Constraints and Model Order Reduction" of the DFG Priority Programm
1962 "Non-smooth and Complementarity-based Distributed Parameter Systems: Simulation
and Hierarchical Optimization".'

text: The goal of this paper is to make a strong point for the usage of dynamical
models when using reinforcement learning (RL) for feedback control of dynamical
systems governed by partial differential equations (PDEs). To breach the gap between
the immense promises we see in RL and the applicability in complex engineering
systems, the main challenges are the massive requirements in terms of the training
data, as well as the lack of performance guarantees. We present a solution for
the first issue using a data-driven surrogate model in the form of a convolutional
LSTM with actuation. We demonstrate that learning an actuated model in parallel
to training the RL agent significantly reduces the total amount of required data
sampled from the real system. Furthermore, we show that iteratively updating the
model is of major importance to avoid biases in the RL training. Detailed ablation
studies reveal the most important ingredients of the modeling process. We use
the chaotic Kuramoto-Sivashinsky equation do demonstarte our findings.

text: The prediction of photon echoes is an important technique for gaining an understanding
of optical quantum systems. However, this requires a large number of simulations
with varying parameters and/or input pulses, which renders numerical studies expensive.
This article investigates how we can use data-driven surrogate models based on
the Koopman operator to accelerate this process. In order to be successful, we
require a model that is accurate over a large number of time steps. To this end,
we employ a bilinear Koopman model using extended dynamic mode decomposition and
simulate the optical Bloch equations for an ensemble of inhomogeneously broadened
two-level systems. Such systems are well suited to describe the excitation of
excitonic resonances in semiconductor nanostructures, for example, ensembles of
semiconductor quantum dots. We perform a detailed study on the required number
of system simulations such that the resulting data-driven Koopman model is sufficiently
accurate for a wide range of parameter settings. We analyze the L2 error and the
relative error of the photon echo peak and investigate how the control positions
relate to the stabilization. After proper training, the dynamics of the quantum
ensemble can be predicted accurately and numerically very efficiently by our methods.

text: "Tax evasion, tax avoidance and tax resistance are widespread phenomena in
political, economic, social and fiscal history from antiquity through medieval,
early modern and modern times. Histories of Tax Evasion, Avoidance and Resistance
shows how different groups and individuals around the globe have succeeded or
failed in not paying their due taxes, whether in kind or in cash, on their properties
or on their crops.\r\n\r\nIt analyses how, throughout history, wealthy and poor
taxpayers have tried to avoid or reduce their tax burden by negotiating with tax
authorities, through practices of legal or illegal tax evasion, by filing lawsuits,
seeking armed resistance or by migration, and how state authorities have dealt
with such acts of claim making, defiance, open resistance or elusion. It fills
an important research gap in tax history, addressing questions of tax morale and
fairness, and how social and political inequality was negotiated through taxation.
It gives rich insights into the development of citizen-state relationships throughout
the course of history. The book comprises case studies from Ancient Athens, Roman
Egypt, Medieval Europe, Early Modern Mexico, the Ottoman Empire, Nigeria under

text: Jean Bodin's list on how the absolutist monarchical state could raise its
revenue ranked taxation only in seventh place. From a modern legal perspective,
taxes are compulsory transfers of resources that households and enterprises pay
to one or several government bodies without receiving an individual, specific
benefit in return. Historians have dealt with not paying taxes in various contexts,
such as analysing tax resistance and tax resistance movements in history. Tax
law is best understood as an outcome of long-term, often conflictual, negotiations
and as an expression of specific political mentalities and ideologies. As a consequence,
tax law and sometimes even the tax juridical system have a strongly politicised
character. Loopholes in tax legislation that enable or facilitate avoidance or
evasion can thus be regarded as a result of the interest-driven politics of parliamentary
majorities, as the success of concerted lobby pressure.

and electrician with a workshop of his own is annoyed and upset by the duty of
filling in his tax return, grumbling at his wife and daughter and even at their
budgie. The film''s tax morale message is conveyed to its audience against the
backdrop of a sober post-war reality characterised by allied occupation and the
Allies'' say in West German tax policies during a period of laborious economic
build-up after a lost war.'

text: "As in almost every other branch of science, the major advances in data\r\nscience
and machine learning have also resulted in significant improvements\r\nregarding
the modeling and simulation of nonlinear dynamical systems. It is\r\nnowadays
possible to make accurate medium to long-term predictions of highly\r\ncomplex
systems such as the weather, the dynamics within a nuclear fusion\r\nreactor,
of disease models or the stock market in a very efficient manner. In\r\nmany cases,
predictive methods are advertised to ultimately be useful for\r\ncontrol, as the
control of high-dimensional nonlinear systems is an engineering\r\ngrand challenge
with huge potential in areas such as clean and efficient energy\r\nproduction,
or the development of advanced medical devices. However, the\r\nquestion of how
to use a predictive model for control is often left unanswered\r\ndue to the associated
challenges, namely a significantly higher system\r\ncomplexity, the requirement
of much larger data sets and an increased and often\r\nproblem-specific modeling
effort. To solve these issues, we present a universal\r\nframework (which we call
QuaSiModO:\r\nQuantization-Simulation-Modeling-Optimization) to transform arbitrary\r\npredictive
models into control systems and use them for feedback control. The\r\nadvantages
of our approach are a linear increase in data requirements with\r\nrespect to
the control dimension, performance guarantees that rely exclusively\r\non the
accuracy of the predictive model, and only little prior knowledge\r\nrequirements
in control theory to solve complex control problems. In particular\r\nthe latter
point is of key importance to enable a large number of researchers\r\nand practitioners
to exploit the ever increasing capabilities of predictive\r\nmodels for control
in a straight-forward and systematic fashion."

text: Coherent nonlinear optical μ-spectroscopy is a frequently used tool in modern
material science as it is sensitive to many different local observables, which
comprise, among others, crystal symmetry and vibrational properties. The richness
in information, however, may come with challenges in data interpretation, as one
has to disentangle the many different effects like multiple reflections, phase
jumps at interfaces, or the influence of the Guoy-phase. In order to facilitate
interpretation, the work presented here proposes an easy-to-use semi-analytical
modeling Ansatz, which bases upon known analytical solutions using Gaussian beams.
Specifically, we apply this Ansatz to compute nonlinear optical responses of (thin
film) optical materials. We try to conserve the meaning of intuitive parameters
like the Gouy-phase and the nonlinear coherent interaction length. In particular,
the concept of coherence length is extended, which is a must when using focal
beams. The model is subsequently applied to exemplary cases of second- and third-harmonic
generation. We observe a very good agreement with experimental data, and furthermore,
despite the constraints and limits of the analytical Ansatz, our model performs
similarly well as when using more rigorous simulations. However, it outperforms
the latter in terms of computational power, requiring more than three orders less
computational time and less performant computer systems.
