                  H NMR spectroscopy. The transformation from multilamellar vesicles (MLVs) to aligned planar lamellae is accompanied by a transient gradient shear banding. A high-shear-rate band of aligned lamellae forms next to the moving inner wall of the cylindrical Couette shear cell while a low-shear-rate band of the initial MLV structure remains close to the outer stationary wall. The band of layers grows at the expense of the band of MLVs until the transformation is completed. This process scales with the applied strain. Wall slip is a characteristic of the MLV state, while aligned layers show no deviation from Newtonian flow. The homogeneous nature of the opposite transformation from well aligned layers to MLVs via an intermediate structure resembling undulated multilamellar cylinders is confirmed. The strain dependence of this transformation appears to be independent of temperature. The shear diagram, which represents the shear-induced structures as a function of temperature and shear rate, contains a transition region between stable layers and stable MLVs. The steady-state structures in the transition region show a continuous change from layer-like at high temperature to MLV-like at lower temperature. These structures are homogeneous on a length scale above a few micrometers.
}},

  abstract = {{In this paper we propose an approach to retrieve the geometry of an acoustic sensor network consisting of spatially distributed microphone arrays from unconstrained speech input. The calibration relies on Direction of Arrival (DoA) measurements which do not require a clock synchronization among the sensor nodes. The calibration problem is formulated as a cost function optimization task, which minimizes the squared differences between measured and predicted observations and additionally avoids the existence of minima that correspond to mirrored versions of the actual sensor orientations. Further, outlier measurements caused by reverberation are mitigated by a Random Sample Consensus (RANSAC) approach. The experimental results show a mean positioning error of at most 25 cm even in highly reverberant environments.}},

The key idea is to use both the internal sensors of the smartphone (e.g., gyroscope) and sensor data from the car (e.g., speed information) to support navigation via GPS. To this end we employ a CAN-Bus-to-Bluetooth adapter to establish a wireless connection between the smartphone and the CAN-Bus of the car. On the smartphone a strapdown algorithm and an error-state Kalman filter are used to fuse the different sensor data streams. The experimental results show that the system is able to maintain higher positioning accuracy during GPS dropouts, thus improving the availability and reliability, compared to GPS-only solutions.}},

@inbook{49440,
  abstract = {{Charles Mingus' "The Black Saint and the Sinner Lady" aus dem Jahre 1963 gehört zu den zentralen Werken des großformalen Jazz. Was versteht Mingus unter "Ethnic Folk Dance Music"?
