Therefore, a high model quality must be ensured. Currently, there is no method for defining company-specific metrics to assess system model quality. In a six-step research approach, a method is defined: (1) literature analysis on quality assessment approaches, (2) derivation of success factors, (3) evaluation of approaches, (4) development of a method, (5) application in automotive industry, and (6) evaluation. Many of the contextual elicitors that trigger typical patterns of shyness reactions in children, such as gaze aversion, a more distant approach, or general hesitation, may be present in typical laboratory settings or in standardised testing situations, for example, language assessment tests. In our chapter, we review recent studies that operationalise shy children’s communicative behaviour at verbal and nonverbal levels with different social partners, such as humans or social robots, as interaction partners, providing practitioners with a sound overview of communicative signals that are challenging to capture and measure in practical settings. There is a wide range of products for babies and toddlers. This article reviews the current state of the art, examining the robustness of word knowledge learned using technologies such as e-books, computer games, digital pens, and social robots, and how individual differences among children impact language learning with technology. Die Fähigkeit von angehenden Lehrkräften, aktiv mit ihren Emotionen umzugehen, bildet einen entscheidenden Faktor für die Entwicklung von Lehrprofessionalität sowie für die psychische Gesundheit im künftigen Beruf. Der Umgang von angehenden Lehrkräften mit Emotionen wurde in der Lehrkräftebildung bislang nur eingeschränkt bzw. punk-tuell aufgegriffen. Das Praxissemester stellt eine Phase der Lehrkräftebildung dar, die aufgrund der neuen Herausforderungen und Aufgaben für die Studierenden stark emotionsgeladen sein kann. Die vorliegende Tagebuchstudie untersucht spezifische emotionsauslösende Situationen im Berufsalltag von Praxissemesterstudierenden (n=10). In diesem Zusammenhang wurden zudem die Valenz (positiv – negativ) der erlebten Emotionen sowie die situationsspezifische Emotionsregulation untersucht. Die Praxissemesterstudierenden wurden instruiert, anzugeben, ob sie eine Emotion situationsspezifisch reguliert haben, indem sie diese kognitiv neu bewertet, expressiv unterdrückt oder frei herausgelassen haben. Insgesamt wurden 126 emotionsauslösende berufliche Situationen im Praxissemester genannt, welche sich in einen schulischen, (privat-)beruflichen und Ausbildungskontext unterteilen lassen. Die Praxissemesterstudierenden gaben an, mehr positive als negative Emotionen situationsspezifisch erlebt zu haben. This can be overcome by using twin-roll casting to produce thin sheets. Further thermomechanical treatment, including hot or cold rolling, and heat treatment can adjust the mechanical properties of twin-roll cast Al-Li sheets. The whole manufacturing chain requires detailed knowledge of the precipitation and dissolution behavior during heating, soaking and cooling, to purposefully select any process parameters. This study shows the process chain of a twin-roll cast Al–Cu–Li alloy achieving a hardness of around 180 HV1 by adapting the heat treatment parameters for homogenisation, hot rolling and age hardening. One of the challenges in building these data ecosystems is to convince everyone involved of the advantages of multilateral data sharing. A prerequisite is also a common understanding of the rights of use and access to the data. Data sovereignty means that the data provider decides which data with which usage and access rights he wants to make accessible to which user group. Standardised digital representations by, for instance, the Asset Administration Shell (AAS enable creation of such data ecosystems, interlinking the physical and digital space. In the paper at hand, a conceptual approach named Decide4Eco is presented with the aim to enable systematic and flexible decision-making support for product planning and development concerning the sustainability of a product and the entire value chain. How a disciplinary community presents itself to others through education influences others’ perceptions and understanding of science. Thus, communicating science through education reflects back on scientific insights. The paper presents two traditions of curriculum development and discusses how each of those traditions can incorporate aspects of such disciplinary self-reflection. Mostly, they occur in dialogical form where an explainer discusses a concept or phenomenon of interest with an explainee. Leaving the explainee with a clear understanding is not straightforward due to the knowledge gap between the two participants. Previous research looked at the interaction of explanation moves, dialogue acts, and topics in successful dialogues with expert explainers. However, daily-life explanations often fail, raising the question of what makes a dialogue successful. In this work, we study explanation dialogues in terms of the interactions between the explainer and explainee and how they correlate with the quality of explanations in terms of a successful understanding on the explainee{’}s side. In particular, we first construct a corpus of 399 dialogues from the Reddit forum {Explain Like I am Five} and annotate it for interaction flows and explanation quality. We then analyze the interaction flows, comparing them to those appearing in expert dialogues. For the study, we analyzed group discussions of PSTs to identify typical approaches and evaluate them from a mathematical perspective.
