  text: <jats:p>Abstract. Structures made of aluminum die casting are being used in
    increasing quantities as well as component sizes for various applications. Due
    to the size of the components, heat treatment of the cast parts following the
    casting process is omitted in order to meet dimensional accuracy requirements
    and reduce production costs. From such an approach, challenges arise with regard
    to the mechanical joining of these aluminum die-cast structures. On one hand,
    the absence of heat treatment results in a general decrease in ductility. On the
    other hand, the increasing size of the components introduces process-related tolerances
    regarding the quality of the casting, including the presence of air or gas inclusions,
    and significant variations in ductility within the component. These factors present
    challenges for mechanical joining technologies, such as the potential risk of
    crack-related defects during the joining process. For the robust mechanical joining
    of such materials, the development and validation of suitable joining strategies
    for aluminum die cast components is presented in this paper. A preparatory step
    involving localized heat treatment in the joining area is implemented to enhance
    the suitability of the casting material for mechanical joining. The objective
    is to generate an improved ductility state in the aluminum die casting material,
    enabling crack-free joining through self-pierce riveting. Additionally, the formability
    of the aluminum die casting material is characterized using a specially developed
    ductility testing method. This allows the prediction of potential crack-related
    defects during mechanical joining. The methods described are developed using the
    AlSi10MnMg material in its as-cast state and applied to the self-pierce riveting
    process. </jats:p>

  text: The corrosion behavior of a hybrid laminate consisting of laser-structured
    aluminum EN AW-6082 ∪ carbon fiber-reinforced polymer was investigated. Specimens
    were corroded in aqueous NaCl electrolyte (0.1 mol/L) over a period of up to 31
    days and characterized continuously by means of scanning electron and light microscopy,
    supplemented by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy. Comparative linear sweep
    voltammetry was employed on the first and seventh day of the corrosion experiment.
    The influence of different laser morphologies and production process parameters
    on corrosion behavior was compared. The corrosion reaction mainly arises from
    the aluminum component and shows distinct differences in long-term corrosion morphology
    between pure EN AW-6082 and the hybrid laminate. Compared to short-term investigations,
    a strong influence of galvanic corrosion on the interface is assumed. No distinct
    influences of different laser structuring and process parameters on the corrosion
    behavior were detected. Weight measurements suggest a continuous loss of mass
    attributed to the detachment of corrosion products.</jats:p>

  text: Der Beitrag untersucht die Effekte eines zwei Sitzungen umfassenden, partizipativen
    und themenunabhängig integrierbaren Lehrmoduls zur Stärkung der Demokratiebildungskompetenz
    von Lehramtsstudierenden (N = 159) in einer quasi-experimentellen Studie vom Sommersemester
    2023 bis zum Sommersemester 2024. Die Ergebnisse der zweifaktoriellen Varianzanalysen
    mit Messwiederholungen (Pre-, Post- und Follow-up) verdeutlichen Effekte des Lehrmoduls
    auf die Selbstwirksamkeitserwartungen der Studierenden zur partizipativ-verfahrensorientierten
    Unterrichtsgestaltung und auf das methodische Wissen zur demokratischen Erarbeitung
    von Beurteilungskriterien in unterrichtlichen Lehr-Lern-Arrangements.

  text: Broadband coherent anti-Stokes Raman scattering (BCARS) is a powerful spectroscopy
    method combining high signal intensity with spectral sensitivity, enabling rapid
    imaging of heterogeneous samples in biomedical research and, more recently, in
    crystalline materials. However, BCARS encounters spectral distortion due to a
    setup-dependent non-resonant background (NRB). This study assesses BCARS reproducibility
    through a round robin experiment using two distinct BCARS setups and crystalline
    materials with varying structural complexity, including diamond, 6H-SiC, KDP,
    and KTP. The analysis compares setup-specific NRB correction procedures, detected
    and NRB-removed spectra, and mode assignment. We determine the influence of BCARS
    setup parameters like pump wavelength, pulse width, and detection geometry and
    provide a practical guide for optimizing BCARS setups for solid-state applications.

  text: "Zunehmend wird der Klimawandel prägender Faktor der Lebenswelten. Trotz innovativer
    technischer\r\nLösungen scheint es schwer, zu einer Lebensweise zu finden, welche
    menschliches Leben mit dem Erhalt\r\nfunktionierender Ökosysteme in Einklang bringt.
    Der Beitrag widmet sich der Frage, wie es dazu\r\nkommen konnte, dass Menschen
    die Welt so stark verändern, dass ihre eigene Zukunft bedroht ist und\r\nwie die
    Gegenwartsliteratur auf diese Frage reagiert hat. Zugespitzt zeigen sich in unterschiedlichen\r\nKontexten,
    in denen dieser Frage nachgegangen werden kann, zwei Antworten: 1. Durch einen
    narrativen\r\nTrick ‒ zumeist eine leichte Verschiebung der Thematik ‒ wird ein
    Ende ermöglicht, das Hoffnung auf\r\neine bessere Zukunft macht, 2. Der Mensch
    wird als Auslaufmodell gesehen, das entweder abgeschafft\r\nwerden sollte oder
    durch unverbesserliches Weitermachen den Planeten nachhaltig zerstören wird."

  text: ' Although Sūrat al-Ikhlāṣ (Q 112) is one of the shortest sūrahs of the Qurʾān,
    it has led to an extensive commentary on its structure and content in Muslim exe-getical
    literature and in Western scholarship. This article takes the recent attempt to
    contextualize the sūrah in Western scholarship as a starting point and proposes
    new evidence for the nature of the religious milieu that shaped its form and content.
    It posits several “intertexts” of creedal expressions, which shed light on the
    discursive nature of the sūrah.'

  text: Within the current energy and environmental crisis, new material- and energy-saving
    processes are needed. For this reason, this study focuses on the development of
    a new forming technology for Ti-6Al-4V sheet metal. It is based on combination
    of solution treatment by resistive heating with rapid tool-based quenching and
    subsequent annealing. This new “TISTRAQ” process is comparable with press-hardening
    already known for steels and hot die quenching known for aluminium alloys. One
    of the main influencing factors for this process is the heat transfer coefficient
    (HTC). It is an important driver for adjustment of basic parameters, as selection
    of tool material or the forming speed but also plays an important role while elaborating
    temperature distribution in the numerical model. Therefore, a new and unique test
    rig was developed to determine the HTC and to perform tool-based heat treatment
    at specimen level under laboratory conditions. The test rig was used to investigate
    the influence of the titanium-tool-lubricant system on HTC and cooling rate. Further
    the effect of heat treatment in the test rig and tool-based quenching on microstructure
    and mechanical properties was studied. To improve the prediction of the temperature
    distribution of the titanium during cooling, the HTC was integrated into the numerical
    process simulation

    Ländern wie Deutschland sowie in einigen asiatischen Ländern wie China zunehmend
    Körperpflegeartikel, nachdem Schönheitspflege und Maskulinität sich zuvor traditionell
    zu widersprechen schienen. Die Verpackungen von Männerkörperpflegeartikeln enthalten
    in der Regel Beschriftungen einerseits zur expliziten Kennzeichnung (for men,
    男性专用 [speziell für Männer] o. Ä.) und andererseits zur Werbung (ABSOLUTE MAN,
    3/4/5 IN 1, STARTKLAR, 有型 [cool und stylish], 均衡 [ausbalanciert] etc.). Mit derartigen
    Beschriftungen, die über die Artikelverpackungen massenhaft verbreitet werden,
    können Unternehmen die geteilte Vorstellung von Männern als soziale Kategorie
    bzw. Erwartungen an diese mitkonstituieren. Das bedeutet, durch Beschriftungen
    auf Verpackungen von Körperpflegeartikeln können Männern stereotypische Eigenschaften
    zugeschrieben werden. Dieser Beitrag arbeitet heraus, wie Männer durch Beschriftungen
    auf Körperpflegeartikeln in Deutschland und China tendenziell stereotypisiert
    werden. Dazu wird die Theorie des konzeptuellen Blendings (Fauconnier und Turner
    2002) für eine qualitative Auswertung eines Korpus aus Fotos von Männerkörperpflegeartikeln
    operationalisiert: Es werden Tendenzen ermittelt, mit welchen konzeptuellen Aspekten
    aus welchen Input Spaces, auf die die Beschriftungen im untersuchten Korpus verweisen,
    die soziale Kategorie ‚Mann‘ zu emergierenden Blends verschmolzen wird.'

  text: Extreme weather situations increasingly lead to hazardous situations with
    high demands on de-cision-making and communication. Weather and impact forecasts
    serve to prepare for such an emergency situation, and extreme data must be processed
    during operations. Therefore, extreme data is categorised with reference to global
    weather data and data from local situation reconnais-sance using sensors carried
    by mobile robots. A concept is presented in which information quality is explicitly
    considered in visualization for situational awareness. This extends existing principles
    of information visualisation with regard to the uncertainty resulting from extreme
    data. The re-sults are intended to help decision-makers at different management
    levels to make informed decisions.
