[{"status":"public","abstract":[{"text":"Precipitation of zinc sulfide particles is a very rapid process, and monitoring of the particle growth is experimentally very demanding. Applying a liquid jet flow cell, we were able to follow zinc sulfide particle formation on time scales down to 10−5 s. The flow cell was designed in such a way that data acquisition on the microsecond time scale was possible under steady-state conditions along a liquid jet (tubular reactor concept), allowing SAXS data accumulation over a time scale of minutes. We were able to monitor the growth of zinc sulfide particles and found experimental evidence for very rapid particle aggregation processes within the liquid jet. The products show a high thermal stability with no structural loss up to 600 °C and only minor decrease in specific surface area by 18% at 800 °C, as proven by powder X-ray diffraction (PXRD), transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and nitrogen physisorption. In particular, the samples turn out to be much more stable than porous SnO2 materials prepared by sol–gel-based synthesis procedures for comparison. The particles have diameters between about 350 and 550 nm. They exhibit a regular core-shell structure with a solid, non-porous silica core and a mesoporous PMO shell with a thickness of approximately 75 nm and uniform pores of about 1.7 nm. The synthesis of the core and the shell is carried out in a one-pot, two-stage synthesis and can be accomplished at temperatures between 25 and 100 °C. Higher synthesis temperatures lead to substantial shrinking of the solid core, generating an empty void between core and shell. The analysis of the mixed analogue and digital structure of charge-pump phase-locked loops (CP-PLL) is a challenge in modelling and simulation. In most cases the system is designed and characterized using its continuous linear model or its discrete linear model neglecting its non-linear switching behaviour. I.e., the time-varying model is approximated by a time-invariant representation using its average dynamics. Depending on what kind of phase detector is used, the scopes of validity of these approximations are different. Here, a preeminent characterization and simulation technique based on the systems event-driven feature is presented, merging the logical and analogue inherent characteristics of the system. In einem von der Deutschen Forschungsgemeinschaft geförderten, groß angelegten Forschungsprojekt wird eine Aufarbeitung der Geschichte der Buchzensur von Römischer Inquisition und Indexkongregation (1542 bis 1966) angegangen. Durch fundierte Archivstudien sowie durch akribische Detailarbeit gelingt es erstmals, die konkrete Arbeit beider Kongregationen zu dokumentieren. 2005 wurden die Bände für den Zeitraum 1814 bis 1917 präsentiert. Nun liegen für die Zeit von 1701 bis 1813 sechs weitere Bände vor. Alle in Rom verhandelten Bücher, egal aus welchem Wissens- und Wissenschaftsbereich, alle Gutachter und alle Urteile zur Buchzensur werden in einem interdisziplinär nutzbaren und international ausgerichteten Grundlagenwerk zugänglich gemacht. Die Prosopographie von Römischer Inquisition und Indexkongregation 1701 bis 1813 mit ihren etwa 1.000 bio-bibliographischen Einträgen zu den am Entscheidungsprozess der Kongregationen beteiligten Akteuren gibt den bislang anonymen Institutionen Inquisition und Indexkongregation ein konkretes Gesicht. Sie stellt einen einzigartigen Einblick in das „Innenleben“ von Römischer Inquisition und Indexkongregation dar. Biographisch Interessierten bietet sie vielfach nicht nur völlig unbekannte Lebens- und Karrieredaten und die gezielte Kompilation der wichtigsten Literatur, sondern dokumentiert auf breiter Quellenbasis die konkrete Gutachtertätigkeit der jeweiligen Person innerhalb der zwei Kongregationen. Diejenigen, die sich der Prosopographie über einen konkreten Zensurfall nähern, können mit ihrer Hilfe den häufig unbekannten Zensor identifizieren und sein Votum gezielt in den Kontext seiner gesamten Zensurtätigkeit einbetten. Kongregationsgeschichtlich schafft die Prosopographie schließlich einen Über- und Tiefenblick, der das Fundament für alle zukünftigen Studien und Forschunge über Römische Inquisition und Indexkongregation bilden wird.
