  abstract     = {{We give an enumeration of all positive definite primitive Z-lattices in dimension n ≥ 3 whose genus consists of a single isometry class. This is achieved by using bounds obtained from the Smith–Minkowski–Siegel mass formula to computationally construct the square-free determinant lattices with this property, and then repeatedly calculating pre-images under a mapping first introduced by G. L. Watson.

We hereby complete the classification of single-class genera in dimensions 4 and 5 and correct some mistakes in Watson’s classifications in other dimensions. A list of all single-class primitive Z-lattices has been compiled and incorporated into the Catalogue of Lattices.}},

  abstract     = {{Previous experimental measurements and numerical simulations give evidence of strong electric and magnetic field interaction between split-ring resonators in dense arrays. One can expect that such interactions have an influence on the second harmonic generation. We apply the Discontinuous Galerkin Time Domain method and the hydrodynamic Maxwell-Vlasov model to simulate the linear and nonlinear optical response from SRR arrays. The simulations show that dense placement of the constituent building blocks appears not always optimal and collective effects can lead to a significant suppression of the near fields at the fundamental frequency and, consequently, to the decrease of the SHG intensity. We demonstrate also the great role of the symmetry degree of the array layout which results in the variation of the SHG efficiency in range of two orders of magnitude.}},

  abstract     = {{"Bereits vor Schuleintritt geht in Deutschland eine Bildungsschere auf, die vor allem Kinder aus bildungsfernen Milieus und mit Migrationshintergrund benachteiligt. Frühe Bildungsdefizite ziehen sich u. U. durch die gesamte Bildungsbiographie, familiale Bildungsunterschiede können zur lebenslangen Bildungsbenachteiligung werden. Bildungsinstitutionen müssten ausgleichen, scheitern aber oft schon an der Kompetenz der pädagogisch Verantwortlichen. Dies gilt allgemein, aber auch für die zentralen Bereiche der literarischen Bildung und der Medienbildung. Das hier vorgestellte Interventions- und Forschungsprojekt umfasst die Vorbereitung auf den häufig als problematisch beschriebenen Übergang aus der Frühen Bildung in die Schule und legt das Augenmerk auf die Lese- und Medienkompetenz von Kindern ab 4 Jahren, nimmt aber auch das Medienhandeln der beteiligten Erzieherinnen, der Eltern und der Bildungsverantwortlichen auf der Ebene der Träger in den Blick. Es ist Beispiel eines lokalen Bildungsnetzwerkes mit Kooperationspartnern aus Stadt, Universität und Wirtschaft, die gemeinsame Educational Governance übernommen haben. Die Studie steht im Kontext eines Forschungsprogramms, das seit Jahren mediale und literarische Kompetenz auch vor dem Hintergrund einer normativen Orientierung für die Medienpraxis untersucht. Forschungstheoretisch steht dieses Forschungsprogramm in der Tradition der Action Research und ist als Prozess der reflexiven Einbindung aller Akteure konzipiert. Methodisch ist es orientiert an der Grounded Theory."}},
