Chronotype was assessed with the Munich Chronotype Questionnaire and defined as: midpoint of sleep corrected for sleep-debt (MSFsc) accumulated over the week (later MSFsc represents later chronotype). Social jetlag (SJL) defines the difference between midpoint of sleep during week and weekend. Calculations for Fat Free Mass Index (FFMI [kg/m2)]) and Fat Mass Index (FMI) [kg/m2)]) were based on body fat percentage, weight, and height.
Based on this, we utilize a partial equilibrium model to provide several conjectures on the impact of COVID-19 on entrepreneurship, and to derive policy recommendations for recovery. We illustrate that while entrepreneurship recovery will benefit from measures such as direct subsidies for start-ups, firms’ revenue losses, and loan liabilities, it will also benefit from aggregate demand-side support and income redistribution measures, as well as from measures that facilitate the innovation-response to the Keynesian supply-shock caused by the pandemic, such as access to online retail and well-functioning global transportation and logistics.
","lang":"eng"}],"publication":"Economics of Disasters and Climate Change","issue":"3","doi":"10.1007/s41885-021-00089-0","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"intvolume":" 5","date_updated":"2024-06-27T07:48:12Z","publication_status":"published","author":[{"first_name":"Thomas","last_name":"Gries","full_name":"Gries, Thomas","id":"186"},{"full_name":"Naudé, Wim","first_name":"Wim","last_name":"Naudé"}],"publication_identifier":{"issn":["2511-1280","2511-1299"]},"title":"Extreme Events, Entrepreneurial Start-Ups, and Innovation: Theoretical Conjectures","year":"2021"},{"user_id":"72684","language":[{"iso":"ger"}],"_id":"51758","date_updated":"2024-07-02T06:20:07Z","publication_status":"published","title":"Data Literacy: Kompetenzrahmen für Hochschulen ","year":"2021","status":"public","author":[{"full_name":"Bush, Annika ","last_name":"Bush","first_name":"Annika "},{"first_name":"Birte","last_name":"de Gruisbourne","full_name":"de Gruisbourne, Birte","id":"77538"},{"id":"65695","full_name":"Matzner, Tobias","last_name":"Matzner","first_name":"Tobias"},{"full_name":"Schulz, Christian","first_name":"Christian","last_name":"Schulz","id":"72684"}],"type":"working_paper","department":[{"_id":"757"}],"date_created":"2024-02-22T14:54:01Z","citation":{"bibtex":"@book{Bush_de Gruisbourne_Matzner_Schulz_2021, title={Data Literacy: Kompetenzrahmen für Hochschulen }, author={Bush, Annika and de Gruisbourne, Birte and Matzner, Tobias and Schulz, Christian}, year={2021} }","ama":"Bush A, de Gruisbourne B, Matzner T, Schulz C. <i>Data Literacy: Kompetenzrahmen für Hochschulen </i>.; 2021.","mla":"Bush, Annika, et al. <i>Data Literacy: Kompetenzrahmen für Hochschulen </i>. 2021.","short":"A. While several STEAM initiatives point towards a growing recognition of technological literacy, the consideration of technology education ininterdisciplinaryscience and social studies is quite underrepresented in practice as well as in research and teacher training.Takinginto accountthe UN-CRPDclaims foran inclusive educational system andthus alsothe right to equally participate in a free society, participation in society through participation in technological development is a fundamental common goal of technological and inclusive education and part of widely recognized technological literacy. It is therefore not well understood how teaching and learning arrangementscan consider and satisfythe needs of all different students.
