The low temperature laser sintering attacks at this point and processes powder material at\r\na build chamber temperature lower than the recrystallization temperature. This drastic reduction in\r\ntemperature results in significantly less thermal damage to the material. This work deals with the\r\nlow temperature laser sintering of Polyamide 12 (PA12) on a commercial, unmodified laser\r\nsintering system to compare it to standard laser sintered PA12 and to create the basis for low\r\ntemperature laser sintering of high temperature materials on such a system. Throughout this process, there are numerous tasks that depend on human expertise and are typically undertaken by experienced practitioners. As the field of Artificial Intelligence (AI) continues to evolve and finds its way into the manufacturing sector, there exist many possibilities for an application of AI in order to assist in solving aforementioned tasks. As precursor gases silane (SiH4), nitrous oxide (N2O), nitrogen (N2) and ammonia (NH3) are used with different compositions. We find that for achieving high nitrogen content adding ammonia to the precursor mix is most efficient. Moreover, we investigate the balance between adsorption and desorption processes during film growth by investigating the film growth rate as a function of the substrate temperature. From these data we are able to determine an effective activation energy for the film growth, corresponding to the difference between adsorption and desorption energy. Finally, we have thoroughly investigated the optical properties of the films using spectroscopic ellipsometry. Such structures can be fabricated through epitaxial lift-off using selective etching of Al-containing layers and subsequent transfer to glass substrates. Herein, the selective etching of (111)B-oriented AlxGa1−xAs sacrificial layers (10–50 nm thick) with different aluminum concentrations (x = 0.5–1.0) in 10\\% hydrofluoric acid is investigated and compared with standard (100)-oriented structures. The thinner the sacrificial layer and the lower the aluminum content, the lower the lateral etch rate. For both orientations, the lateral etch rates are in the same order of magnitude, but some quantitative differences exist. Furthermore, the epitaxial lift-off, the transfer, and the nanopatterning of thin (111)B-oriented GaAs membranes are demonstrated. Coordinating these services\r\nrequires scaling them according to continuously changing user\r\ndemand, deploying instances at the edge close to their users,\r\nand routing traffic efficiently between users and connected instances.\r\nNetwork and service coordination is commonly addressed\r\nthrough centralized approaches, where a single coordinator\r\nknows everything and coordinates the entire network globally.\r\nWhile such centralized approaches can reach global optima, they\r\ndo not scale to large, realistic networks. In contrast, distributed\r\napproaches scale well, but sacrifice solution quality due to their\r\nlimited scope of knowledge and coordination decisions.\r\n\r\nTo this end, we propose a hierarchical coordination approach\r\nthat combines the good solution quality of centralized approaches\r\nwith the scalability of distributed approaches. In doing so, we divide\r\nthe network into multiple hierarchical domains and optimize\r\ncoordination in a top-down manner. We compare our hierarchical\r\nwith a centralized approach in an extensive evaluation on a real-world\r\nnetwork topology.
