Analyzing them for social bias can thus provide valuable insights,\r\nsuch as prevailing stereotypes in society and the media, which are often\r\nadopted by NLP models trained on respective data. Recent work has relied on\r\nword embedding bias measures, such as WEAT. However, several representation\r\nissues of embeddings can harm the measures' accuracy, including low-resource\r\nsettings and token frequency differences. In this work, we study what kind of\r\nembedding algorithm serves best to accurately measure types of social bias\r\nknown to exist in US online news articles. To cover the whole spectrum of\r\npolitical bias in the US, we collect 500k articles and review psychology\r\nliterature with respect to expected social bias. We then quantify social bias\r\nusing WEAT along with embedding algorithms that account for the aforementioned\r\nissues. We compare how models trained with the algorithms on news articles\r\nrepresent the expected social bias. Our results suggest that the standard way\r\nto quantify bias does not align well with knowledge from psychology. Hierbei stehen insbesondere Fragen zu Berufsfeldern\r\nund Ausbildungsinhalten, zu verwendeten AR-Spezifikationen, zu Zusammenhängen\r\nzwischen AR-Anwendung und leistungs-, wahrnehmungs- und motivationsbezogenen\r\nVariablen sowie zur didaktischen Einbettung entsprechender Technologien im Fokus.\r\nAuf Basis einer integrierenden Sichtung bestehender Literatur konnten insgesamt\r\n16 Studien sowie zwei bereits vorliegende Literaturreviews in die Analyse eingeschlossen werden. Die Ergebnisse verweisen u. a. auf eine heterogene Lage hinsichtlich forschungsmethodischer Zugänge und didaktischer Referenzkonzepte. Weitgehend förderliche Effekte auf leistungs-, wahrnehmungs- und motivationsbezogene Variablen\r\nstimmen insgesamt bezüglich des AR-Einsatzes positiv, machen aber auch die Notwendigkeit einer integrierten Betrachtung technologischer und pädagogisch-instruktionaler\r\nGestaltungsparameter deutlich."},{"text":"This contribution focuses on the use of augmented reality (AR) in vocational education and training as well as further education contexts. In particular, the focus is on\r\nquestions regarding what occupational fields and training contents use AR, what kind\r\nof AR are used, whether correlations between AR applications and performance-, perception- and motivation-related variables exist, as well as how AR is embedded in didactic and pedagogic contexts. Based on an integrative review of existing literature, a\r\ntotal of 16 studies and two existing literature reviews were included in the analysis.\r\nThe results indicate, among other things, that the studies use heterogeneous research\r\nmethodologies as well as didactic and pedagogic reference theories. A few studies\r\npoint to positive effects of AR use on performance-, perception- and motivation-related\r\nvariables. The automatic generation of conclusions is becoming a very prominent task, raising the need for automatic measures to assess the quality of these generated conclusions. The SharedTask at the 9th Workshop on Argument Mining proposes a new task to assess the novelty and validity of a conclusion given a set of premises. In this paper, we present a multitask learning approach that transfers the knowledge learned from the natural language inference task to the tasks at hand. As such, the AS problem has received considerable attention resulting\r\nin various approaches - many of which either solve a regression or ranking\r\nproblem under the hood. Although both of these formulations yield very natural\r\nways to tackle AS, they have considerable weaknesses. On the one hand,\r\ncorrectly predicting the performance of an algorithm on an instance is a\r\nsufficient, but not a necessary condition to produce a correct ranking over\r\nalgorithms and in particular ranking the best algorithm first. On the other\r\nhand, classical ranking approaches often do not account for concrete\r\nperformance values available in the training data, but only leverage rankings\r\ncomposed from such data. We propose HARRIS- Hybrid rAnking and RegRessIon\r\nforeSts - a new algorithm selector leveraging special forests, combining the\r\nstrengths of both approaches while alleviating their weaknesses. HARRIS'\r\ndecisions are based on a forest model, whose trees are created based on splits\r\noptimized on a hybrid ranking and regression loss function.
