Due to real-time constraints, the major\r\nchallenge in MPC is to solve model-based optimal control problems in a very\r\nshort amount of time. For linear-quadratic problems, Bemporad et al. have\r\nproposed an explicit formulation where the underlying optimization problems are\r\nsolved a priori in an offline phase. In this article, we present an extension\r\nof this concept in two significant ways. We consider nonlinear problems and -\r\nmore importantly - problems with multiple conflicting objective functions. In\r\nthe offline phase, we build a library of Pareto optimal solutions from which we\r\nthen obtain a valid compromise solution in the online phase according to a\r\ndecision maker's preference. Since the standard multi-parametric programming\r\napproach is no longer valid in this situation, we instead use interpolation\r\nbetween different entries of the library. To reduce the number of problems that\r\nhave to be solved in the offline phase, we exploit symmetries in the dynamical\r\nsystem and the corresponding multiobjective optimal control problem. Kredite für die Gründung oder den Ausbau von Unternehmen waren auf Grund des Kapitalmangels entweder unmöglich oder extrem teuer – ein für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung ernst zu nehmendes Hemmnis. Das Land brauchte zur wirtschaftlichen Entwicklung also Investitionen aus dem Ausland. Jedoch hielten sich die europäischen Banken und Anleger mit solchen Investitionen vor den 1870er Jahren zurück. Warum diese Scheu der Kapitalanleger vor Griechenland, obwohl sie anderswo keineswegs vor risikoreichen Investitionen zurückschreckten, wenn nur entsprechend hohe Erträge lockten? Dieser Frage möchte der Beitrag anhand eines Beispiels nachgehen: der bayerisch-französischen Bankiersfamilie von Eichthal, die in den 1830er Jahren enge Geschäftsbeziehungen nach Griechenland aufbaute und zeitweilig sehr interessiert an Investitionen war – bevor das Bankhaus sich von diesen Plänen schließlich unverrichteter Dinge wieder abwandte. Das kulturelle Interesse an Griechenland überdauerte dagegen bis in die 1880er Jahre. Reliable Obstacle avoidance is an integral part of autonomous navigation. This involves real time interpretation and processing of a complex environment. Strict time and energy constraints of a mobile autonomous system make efficient computation extremely desirable. The benefits of employing Hardware/Software co-designed applications are obvious and significant. Hardware accelerators are used for efficient processing of the algorithms by exploiting parallelism. FPGAs are a class of hardware accelerators, which\r\ncan contain hundreds of small execution units, and can be used for Hardware/Software co-designed application. However, there is a reluctance when it comes to adoption of these devices in well established application domains, such as Robotics, due to a steep learning curve needed for FPGA application design. ReconROS has successfully bridged the gap between robotic and FPGA application development, by providing an intuitive, common development platform for robotic application development for FPGA. It does so by integrating Robotics Operating System(ROS) which is an industry and academia standard for robotics application development, with ReconOS, an operating system for re-configurable hardware. In this thesis an obstacle avoidance system is designed and implemented for an autonomous vehicle using ReconROS. It also investigates what knowledge farmers require on digitalised farms and how they acquire it. Dairy farming was used as domain of investigation since it, unlike other industries, has strongly been affected by digitalisation throughout the last years.Method: Exploratory interviews with 10 livestock farmers working on digitalised dairy farms were analysed using qualitative content analysis. A deductive and inductive coding strategy was used. Findings: Farming work has changed from more manual tasks towards symbol manipulation and data processing. Farmers must be able to use computers and other digital devices to retrieve and analyse sensor data that allow them to monitor and control the processes on their farm. For this new kind of work, farmers require elaborated mental models that link traditional farming knowledge with knowledge about digital systems, including a strong understanding of production processes underlying their farm. Learning is mostly based on instructions offered by manufacturers of the new technology as well as informal and non-formal learning modes. Even younger farmers report that digital technology was not sufficiently covered in their (vocational) degrees. In general, farmers emphasises the positive effects of digitalisation both on their working as well as private life. Conclusions: Farmers should be aware of the opportunities as well as the potential drawbacks of the digitalisation of work processes in agriculture. Providers of agricultural education (like vocational schools or training institutes) need to incorporate the knowledge and skills required to work in digitalised environments (e.g., data literacy) in their syllabi. Dieser Beitrag zielt darauf, die Perspektive von Mentor*innen zu den Aufgaben der am Praxissemester beteiligten Lernorte sowie Veränderungsbedarfe zu explorieren. Hierzu werden Ergebnisse einer Interviewstudie mit 23 Mentor* innen vorgestellt, die zur Beantwortung nachstehender Forschungsfragen beitragen: (1) Welche Aufgaben haben die am Praxissemester beteiligten Lernorte und die dort tätigen Akteur*innen hinsichtlich der Vorbereitung, Unterstützung und Begleitung der Studierenden im Praxissemester aus Perspektive befragter Mentor*innen? (2) Was sind aus Sicht von Mentor*innen Veränderungsbedarfe hinsichtlich der Rahmenbedingungen bzw. Konzeption des Praxissemesters? Ein zentraler Befund der Studie ist, dass allen Lernorten attribuiert wird, dass diese Studierende auf die praktische Unterrichtstätigkeit vorbereiten sollen. Die Relevanz der Universitäten wird dabei allerdings als gering eingeschätzt. Yet, empirical and theoretical models often do not sufficiently differentiate between these two kinds of learning activities. The main goal in the present study is to test whether the two discrete learning activities are indeed facilitated in different ways and by different antecedents. The results of a multi-wave diary study with a sample of 229 German employees show that engagement in workplace learning is not influenced by conscious beliefs connected to learning, which play a central role in most theoretical models explaining participation in designated learning opportunities, underlining the need for an autonomous theory of workplace learning. Furthermore, the current study shows the strong direct, indirect, and moderating influence of organisational learning culture on both kinds of professional learning activities. Auch in der Wirtschaftspädagogik hat die empirische Auseinandersetzung mit den Beweggründen der Studien- und Berufswahl eine gewisse Tradition. Gleichzeitig muss bemängelt werden, dass die existierenden Untersuchungen einerseits bisher keine an die nationale und internationale Forschung anschlussfähigen Erhebungsinstrumente benutzten und andererseits regional nur einzelne Hochschulstandorte berücksichtigten. Die hier berichtete Studie nimmt sich dieses Forschungsdesiderates an. Hierzu wurden 879 Studierende der Wirtschaftspädagogik an zwölf deutschen Studienstandorten mit einem standardisierten Fragebogen, basierend auf dem bereits gut etablierten FIT-Choice-Ansatz, befragt. Auf Basis dieser Stichprobe werden folgende Forschungsfragen beantwortet: (1) Inwiefern eignet sich das FIT-Choice-Instrumentarium auch für Untersuchungen von Studierenden der Wirtschaftspädagogik?, (2) Welche Motive sowie Vorstellungen vom späteren Beruf liegen der Berufswahl der befragten Studierenden der Wirtschaftspädagogik zugrunde? und (3) Inwiefern unterscheiden sich die Berufswahlmotive sowie die Vorstellungen des späteren Berufs der befragten Wirtschaftspädagogikstudierenden in Hinblick auf das Geschlecht, eine vorherige Berufsausbildung sowie den späteren Berufswunsch? Die Validierung zeigt, dass sich der FIT-Choice-Ansatz größtenteils gut eignet, um auch Studierende der Wirtschaftspädagogik zu untersuchen. Darüber hinaus geben die Befunde vertiefte Einblicke in die Berufswahlmotivation angehender Wirtschaftspädagog*innen (z. Dieser Beitrag zielt darauf, die Perspektive und Erfahrungen von Mentor*innen zu explorieren und sichtbar zu machen. In diesem Zusammenhang werden Ergebnisse einer leitfadenzentrierten Interviewstudie vorgestellt, an der 23 nordrhein-westfälische Lehrkräfte teilnahmen. Auf Grundlage der inhaltsanalytischen Auswertung der Transkripte werden die nachstehenden Fragestellungen beantwortet: (1) Was sind aus Sicht von Mentor*innen Aufgaben im Zusammenhang mit der Betreuung und Begleitung von Praxissemesterstudierenden?, (2) Welche Ziele haben Praxisphasen aus der Perspektive der Mentor*innen?, (3) Welchen Betreuungsstrategien folgen Mentor*innen bei der Betreuung und Begleitung von Praxissemesterstudierenden? Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass die Antworten der Mentor*innen hinsichtlich der ihnen selbst zugeschriebenen Aufgaben und der dem Praxissemester attribuierten Ziele kaum differieren. Die Betreuungsstrategien der Befragten unterscheiden sich hingegen vergleichsweise stark. The per-manent modulation of the offset current in the CDR's integral branch enhances the acquisition range by nearly 4 times, covering the entire tuning range of the voltage controlled oscillator. The increase in power dissipation and the chip area are negligible. This technique was implemented and measured in a 28 Gbps NRZ bang-bang CDR chip to confirm the working principle. However, existing approaches\r\ndo not perform any audience-specific adaptation. In this work, we aim to bridge\r\nthis gap by studying the task of belief-based claim generation: Given a\r\ncontroversial topic and a set of beliefs, generate an argumentative claim\r\ntailored to the beliefs. To tackle this task, we model the people's prior\r\nbeliefs through their stances on controversial topics and extend\r\nstate-of-the-art text generation models to generate claims conditioned on the\r\nbeliefs. Our automatic evaluation confirms the ability of our approach to adapt\r\nclaims to a set of given beliefs. In a manual study, we additionally evaluate\r\nthe generated claims in terms of informativeness and their likelihood to be\r\nuttered by someone with a respective belief. We show that if the geodesic billiard system is hyperbolic on its trapped set and the latter is compact and non-grazing the techniques for open hyperbolic systems developed by Dyatlov and Guillarmou can be applied to a smooth model for the discontinuous flow defined by the non-grazing billiard trajectories. This allows us to obtain a meromorphic resolvent for the generator of the billiard flow. As an application we prove a meromorphic continuation of weighted zeta functions together with explicit residue formulae. Using a primary survey of 412 professional risk managers, we find that managers with dark personality traits are more likely to engage in selective hedging than those without. This effect is particularly pronounced for older, male, and less experienced risk managers.
