Das hat unterschiedliche Gründe, unter anderem die nicht vorhandene curriculare Verankerung. Dabei belegen diverse Untersuchungen, dass solche Aufenthalte den interkulturellen Kompetenzerwerb und damit Fähigkeiten fördern, die unabhängig vom Fach in einer globalisierten Welt immer größere Relevanz im Berufsleben einnehmen. Im Projekt wurde ein hybrides internationales Kooperationsseminar entwickelt und durchgeführt sowie in Bezug auf den Erwerb dieser wichtigen Schlüsselqualifikation evaluiert. Die Auswertung der unter anderem durch Fragebögen erhobenen Entwicklung konnte deutlich die positiven Auswirkungen eines hybriden Kooperationsseminars auf interkulturelle Kompetenzen, die Auseinandersetzung mit verschiedensten Aspekten einer anderen Kultur, darunter Geschichte, Politik, (Post-)Kolonialismus und den eigenen Privilegien aufzeigen. Zudem lassen sich aus der Evaluation weitere Ideen für rein digitale Formate ableiten. "},{"lang":"eng","text":"Stays abroad by musicology students at the Paderborn University are the exception rather than the\r\nrule. There are various reasons for this, including the fact that they are not part of the curriculum.\r\nHowever, various studies have shown that such stays support the acquisition of intercultural skills\r\nwhich are becoming increasingly relevant in professional life in a globalised world, regardless of the\r\nsubject. The project developed, implemented, and evaluated a hybrid international cooperation semi-\r\nnar regarding the acquisition of this important key qualification. The evaluation of the course of the\r\nseminar, based among other things on questionnaires, clearly showed the positive effects of a hybrid\r\ncooperation seminar on intercultural competences, the examination of different aspects of another\r\nculture, including history, politics, (post-)colonialism and one's own privileges. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the impact of a compliant surface on cortico-cortical causal information flow during multi-joint compound movements. Fifteen healthy adults (7 female / 8 male, 25.9 ± 4.0 years) performed 5 × 20 repetitions of bodyweight squats on firm and compliant surface. Motor behavior was quantified by center of pressure (CoP) displacements, hip movement and the root mean square of the rectus femoris activity. Using source space analysis, renormalized partial directed coherence (rPDC) computed subject-level multivariate effective brain connectivity of sensorimotor nodes. Bootstrap statistics revealed significantly decreased medio-lateral CoP displacement (<jats:italic>p</jats:italic> &lt; 0.001), significantly increased velocity of medio-lateral hip motion (<jats:italic>p</jats:italic> &lt; 0.001) as well as significantly lower rectus femoris activity (<jats:italic>p</jats:italic> &lt; 0.01) in the compliant surface condition. On the cortical level, rPDC showed significantly modulated information flow in theta and beta frequencies for fronto-parietal edges (<jats:italic>p</jats:italic> &lt; 0.01) only during the concentric phase of the movement. The compliant surface led to increased difficulties controlling hip but not center of pressure motion in the medio-lateral plane. Moreover, a decreased activation of the prime movers accompanied by modulations of effective brain connectivity among fronto-central nodes may point to altered demands on sensorimotor information processing in presence of sensory noise when performing bodyweight squats on compliant surface. Dazu werden 101 schriftliche Reflexionen von Studierenden aus drei bildungswissenschaftlichen Hochschulseminaren aus dem Wintersemester 2022/2023 und dem Sommersemester 2023 anhand der Text-Sortier-Technik ausgewertet. Die Evaluationsergebnisse verdeutlichen die studentischen Lernaktivitäten in den Kompetenzbereichen Werte, Einstellungen und Fähigkeiten für eine demokratische Kultur. Zudem wurden die Kenntnisse der Studierenden zur methodischen Gestaltung von demokratischen Aushandlungsprozessen im Unterrichts- und Schulkontext erweitert. Recent discoveries of EPs in nonlinear systems open the\ndoor for an even larger parameter space, raising the question of whether the\ngeometric structure of EPs is universal and independent of the physical model.\nWe show that this is the case for nonlinear perturbations of an isolated\n2nd-order linear EP which becomes the organizing point of a universal\nelementary catastrophe (elliptic umbilic). This clarifies not only the\nneighborhood's topology but also its geometric shape (cone with quasi-deltoid\ncross section). Thus, the position and characteristics of EPs can be predicted\nin nonlinear non-Hermitian parameter space; e.g., at a 2nd-order linear EP four\nnonlinear eigenvectors coalesce. Previous research has not explored the combination of neurocognitive functions and motor demands through complex tasks for team ball sport athletes. The primary aim of the present study was to determine the construct validity of agility-based neurocognitive tests of working memory (WM) and inhibition. <jats:italic><jats:bold>Methods</jats:bold>:</jats:italic> Twenty-seven athletes (5 females; mean age 24.2  [4.7] y; height 183.6 [9.1] cm; body mass 77.5 [11.2] kg) participated in the construct validity assessments that included computer-based tests (working memory capacity and stop-signal reaction time) and sport-specific assessments performed on the SpeedCourt system. <jats:italic><jats:bold>Results</jats:bold>:</jats:italic> Construct validity analysis of sport-specific working memory yielded acceptable construct validity (<jats:italic>r</jats:italic> = .465, <jats:italic>P</jats:italic> &lt; .05), whereas the sport-specific stop-signal task resulted in low construct validity (<jats:italic>r</jats:italic> = .179, <jats:italic>P</jats:italic> &gt; .05). The poor construct validity results highlight the large variance between computer-based and sport-specific neurocognitive assessments. <jats:italic><jats:bold>Conclusion</jats:bold>:</jats:italic> Sport-specific assessments are more complex and include more degrees of freedom potentially due to athletes’ center of mass displacement during task execution. These findings suggest that future research should focus more on the development of sport-specific assessments. We consider a swarm of n robots in the OBLOT model and analyze their collective Fsync dynamics using of equivariant dynamical systems theory. To this end, we show that the corresponding evolution function commutes with rotational and reflective transformations of R^2. These form a group that is isomorphic to O(2) x S_n, the product group of the orthogonal group and the permutation on n elements. The theory of equivariant dynamical systems is used to deduce a hierarchy along which symmetries of a robot swarm can potentially increase following an arbitrary protocol. By decoupling the Look phase from the Compute and Move phases in the mathematical description of an LCM cycle, this hierarchy can be characterized in terms of automorphisms of connectivity graphs. In particular, we find all possible types of symmetry increase, if the decoupled Compute and Move phase is invertible.
