This chapter aims at showing that Descartes turns away from Galen’s theory of the humors, which he globally adopts in the 1633 Treatise of Man. Zahlreiche Studien belegen die Ausbaufähigkeit der digitalisierungsbezogenen Lehrer*innenbildung hinsichtlich der Nutzung digitaler Medien für die Gestaltung schulischer Lehr- und Lernprozesse und geben Anlass zur Weiterentwicklung mit dem Ziel, einen kumulativen Kompetenzaufbau und die Zusammenarbeit der Phasen der Lehrer*innenbildung zu fördern. Als besondere Formen einer solchen Zusammenarbeit werden in diesem Themenheft „Communities of Practice“, „Service Learning“ und das Praxissemester in Nordrhein-Westfalen (NRW) aufgegriffen. Während die phasenübergreifende Zusammenarbeit in „Communities of Practice“ durch wechselseitige Impulse den Aspekt der Multiperspektivität fokussiert, verbindet „Service Learning“ auf der Basis ko-konstruktiver Zusammenarbeit das Erproben und Reflektieren erworbenen Wissens durch soziales Engagement im schulischen Umfeld. Das NRW-Praxissemester gilt als institutionalisierte Schnittstelle der gemeinsamen Lehrer*innenbildung in Form einer verpflichtenden institutionalisierten Kooperation.
