It is influenced by Miller’s (1990) framework of assessment in medical education and includes, among other aspects, performance assessments. This model is used to understand the potential effects of transferring assessment tools into a digital format with assessment feedback. Five examples for such a transfer will be discussed: three methods for various aspects of communication, a test for pedagogical content knowledge, and a test for content knowledge. All five are established instruments well-described in terms of validity. All five have recently been transferred into a digital format. The analysis of this transfer also reveals a potentially harmful effect of digital assessment. The closer an assessment instrument is to assessing action-related parts of professional competence, the more authenticity is required; however, digitisation tends to decrease this authenticity. This suggests that an increasing number of digital assessment tools in teacher education might result in an even more dominant focus on knowledge tests, ignoring other parts of professional competence. This article highlights the role of authenticity in validity and discusses the most suitable assessment format to address various parts of professional competence. Insbesondere Einstellungen und selbsteingeschätzte Kompetenzen sind Einflussfaktoren auf die Motivation zur Mediennutzung. Auf Basis einer Sekundäranalyse wird daher in diesem Beitrag die wechselseitige Entwicklung dieser Dispositionen für verschiedene medienbezogene Kompetenzfacetten von N = 269 Lehramtsstudierenden längsschnittlich untersucht, die ein fünfmonatiges Langzeitpraktikum während der Massnahmen zur Eindämmung der CoViD-19-Pandemie im Wintersemester 2020/2021 absolviert haben. Diese Zeit ging mit vermehrten medienbezogenen Lerngelegenheiten einher. Die Ergebnisse zeigen, dass sich die Einstellungen der angehenden Lehrkräfte hinsichtlich der Mediennutzung kaum veränderten, sich selbsteingeschätzte Medienkompetenzen und medienbezogene Motivation hingegen mit kleinem bis mittlerem Effekt positiv entwickelten. Towards development of better performing catalysts, the precise tuning of mesostructural features such as pore size is desirable, but often hard to achieve. Herein, a computer‐controlled microemulsion‐assisted co‐precipitation (MACP) method at constant pH is established and compared to conventional co‐precipitation. With MACP, the particle growth is limited and through variation of the constant pH during synthesis the pore size of the as‐prepared catalysts is controlled, generating materials for the systematic investigation of confinement effects during OER. At a threshold pore size, overpotential increased significantly. Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) indicated a change in OER mechanism, involving the oxygen release step. However, the similar physicochemical properties of rare-earth elements (REEs) render their separation very challenging, and the development of new selective receptors for these elements is potentially of very considerable economic and environmental importance. Herein, we report the development of a series of 4-phosphoryl pyrazolone receptors for the selective separation of trivalent lanthanum, europium, and ytterbium as the representatives of light, middle, and heavy REEs, respectively. X-ray crystallography studies were employed to obtain solid-state structures across 11 of the resulting complexes, allowing comparative structure–function relationships to be probed, including the effect of lanthanide contraction that occurs along the series from lanthanum to europium to ytterbium and which potentially provides a basis for REE ion separation. In addition, the influence of ligand structure and lipophilicity on lanthanide binding and selectivity was systematically investigated via n-octanol/water distribution and liquid–liquid extraction (LLE) studies. Corresponding stoichiometry relationships between solid and solution states were well established using slope analyses. We concentrate on Muslim norms of dressing and undressing as a potential focal point of cultural and religious diversity. Inspired by Ray’s (2019) idea of racialized organizations, we assume that state-run organizations in Germany are characterized by a strong commitment to religious tolerance and non-discrimination but also marked by anti-Muslim sentiment prevalent among the German population. Our study looks for mechanism that explain how Human Service Organizations accommodate Muslim body practices. It draws on qualitative empirical data collected in state-run hospitals, schools and swimming pools in Germany. Our analyses show that the organizations draw on formal and informal rules at the organizational level to accommodate Islam. We identify five general organizational mechanisms that may hinder Muslim accommodation in human service organizations.
