In contrast to conventional semiconductor lasers their temporal properties are not limited by the intensity dynamics, but are governed primarily by the interaction of the spin dynamics with the birefringent mode splitting that determines the polarization oscillation frequency. Another class of modern semiconductor lasers are high‐<jats:italic>β</jats:italic> emitters, which benefit from enhanced light–matter interaction due to strong mode confinement in low‐mode‐volume microcavities. In such structures, the emission properties can be tailored by the resonator geometry to realize for instance bimodal emission behavior in slightly elliptical micropillar cavities. This attractive feature is utilized to demonstrate and explore spin‐lasing effects in bimodal high‐<jats:italic>β</jats:italic> quantum dot micropillar lasers. The studied microlasers with a <jats:italic>β</jats:italic>‐factor of 4% show spin‐laser effects with experimental polarization oscillation frequencies up to 15 GHz and predicted frequencies up to about 100 GHz, which are controlled by the ellipticity of the resonator. An Iosipescu testing setup on a servo-hydraulic high speed testing unit is used to experimentally characterise the in-plane and out-of-plane behaviour utilising three specimen configurations (12-, 13- and 31-direction). The experimental procedure as well as the testing results are presented and discussed. The measured shear stress–shear strain relations indicate a highly nonlinear behaviour and a distinct rate dependency. Two methods are investigated to derive according material characteristics: a classical engineering approach based on moduli and strengths and a data driven approach based on the curve progression. In all cases a Johnson–Cook based formulation is used to describe rate dependency. The analysis methodologies as well as the derived model parameters are described and discussed in detail. A new approach is the use of high nitrogen steel as rivet material, which allows to omit the usually necessary heat treatment and coating and thus leads to a shortening of the process chain. Due to the high strain hardening, however, high tool loads must be expected. Thus, appropriate forming strategies are needed. Within this contribution, the influence of applying different temperatures for each forming stage in a two-stage rivet forming process using the high nitrogen steel 1.3815 is investigated. The findings provide a basic understanding of the influence of the temperature management when forming high nitrogen steel. For this purpose, the rivets are not formed at the same temperature in each stage, but an elevated temperature is applied selectively. Different process routes are investigated. First, cups are manufactured in stage 1 at room temperature, followed by stage 2 at 200°C. Second, cups are formed in stage 1 at 200°C and used for stage 2 at room temperature. By comparing the findings with results when applying the same temperature in both stages, it is shown that the temperature during the first forming operation has an effect on the forming behaviour during the second forming stage. The required forming forces and the resulting rivet hardness can be influenced by process-adapted temperature application. Furthermore, the causes for the temperature impact on the residual cup thickness in stage 1 are evaluated by a cause and effect analysis, which provides a deeper process understanding. It is critical to examine how education practitioners and students have responded to the goals and practices of schooling, and the progress of education equity issues in educational institutions against the background of such significant social change. Therefore, this article first focuses on the controversy of equity in the policy of citizen mobilization in times of pandemic, to underline the errors of different pandemic measures. Second, scrutinize the challenges faced by group differences in schooling in the context of the current pandemic from the angle of educational equity. Finally, we urge schooling systems to introduce the principle of inclusion of group differences from the very beginning of education provision. В ходе «интерактивного» условия эксперимента испытуемые могли взаимодействовать с реальными предметами, составлявшими проблемную ситуацию. Эта экспериментальная манипуляция привела к значимому увеличению успешности решения большинства использованных задач спичечной алгебры. С учетом того, что задачи различались по источникам сложности, трудно предложить один (или общий) вариант движений решателя, который мог бы объяснить одинаковое положительное влияние интерактивного условия на успешность решения задач разнойстепени сложности. Чтобы удостовериться в точности полученных результатов и оценить перспективность подобной экспериментальной манипуляции, мы провели концептуальную репликацию названного исследования в трех экспериментальных сериях, нацеленных: 1) напроверку эффектов интерактивного условия, 2) на расширенную репликацию тех же эффектов, поскольку она включала в себя экспериментальные условия, предполагающие разную степень моторной активности решателя, 3)на расширенную репликацию тех же эффектов, так как она содержала условия с максимально выраженной интерактивностью, благодаря использованию технологий виртуальной реальности. Кроме того, мы увеличили список зависимых переменных: помимо успешности решения было использовано количество эпистемических и прагматических действийрешателя. Увеличение количества первых может свидетельствовать о переносе части когнитивных функций на окружающую предметную среду. Ни в одном случае мы не смогли реплицировать результаты коллег. Хотя во второй серии эксперимента эпистемических действий было значимо больше, это никак не повлияло на успешность решения. As in previous editions of the Challenge, we use forward-backward convolutional recurrent neural networks (FBCRNNs) [1, 2] for weakly labeled and semi-supervised sound event detection (SED) and eventually generate strong pseudo labels for weakly labeled and unlabeled data. Then, (tag-conditioned) bidirectional CRNNs (Bi-CRNNs) [1, 2] are trained in a strongly supervised manner as our final SED models. In each of the training stages we use multiple iterations of self-training. Compared to previous editions, we improved our system performance by 1) some tweaks regarding data augmentation, pseudo labeling and inference 2) using weakly labeled AudioSet data [3] for pretraining larger networks and 3) augmenting the DESED data [4] with strongly labeled AudioSet data [5] for finetuning of the networks. Diese Berichtshandlungen werden dabei häufig von regelmäßig\r\nwiederkehrenden Sprachhandlungen begleitet, die vor allem der Gewährleistung der Textsorte,\r\nSicherung von Kohärenz des Mediums, Reflektion von Glaubwürdigkeit/Verbürgtheit der Quellen\r\nsowie der Aufforderung zur Meinungsbildung dienen. Jahrhunderts als Textsorten beschrieben werden können. Inhaltlich begibt sich die Arbeit auf die Suche nach Merkmalen dieser erbaulichen Textsorten, die sich musterhaft an der Textoberfläche zeigen, aber Rückschlüsse auf die funktionale, thematische, soziale, stilistische und intertextuelle Dimension von Texten erlauben. Methodisch wird ein Mixed-Methods-Ansatz verfolgt, der quantitative Analysen und qualitative Auswertungen kombiniert. Muster, die automatisiert an der sprachlichen Oberfläche greifbar sind, werden in der Breite erhoben und statistisch ausgewertet. Die Arbeit stützt sich wesentlich auf theoretische Grundlagen der Textsortenlinguistik ebenso wie auf bereits vorhandene Forschungsergebnisse der historischen Linguistik zu den Mustern erbaulicher Textsorten. Die Untersuchungen erfolgen korpusvergleichend, sowohl in Bezug auf die betrachteten erbaulichen Textsorten als auch in Hinblick auf ein Referenzkorpus aus diversen Textsorten. Auf diese Weise können statistisch fundierte Ergebnisse auf breiter Korpusgrundlage gewonnen werden. Zugrunde liegen die Korpora des Deutschen Textarchivs. Die Arbeit versteht sich als Beitrag zu einer text- und korpuslinguistischen Methodik, um historische Textsorten in ihrer Musterhaftigkeit zu erschließen und diese Muster hinsichtlich ihrer kontextuellen Aussagekraft, ihrer Bewirkungsfunktionen und folglich kulturanalytisch einzuordnen. Mit der Erbauungsliteratur des 17. Jhs. wird ein Genre in den Blick genommen, das die Stärkung und Weisung der Christen und der christlichen Gemeinde zum Ziel hatte und damit einen festen Sitz im Leben aller gesellschaftlichen Schichten einnahm. Ihre Bedeutung für die Kultur- und Sprachgeschichte kann daher kaum überschätzt werden."},{"lang":"eng","text":"This thesis inquires about the characteristics of two 17th c. German devotional text types: the Protestant funeral sermon and the prose devotional writing. The work sets out to discover linguistic and visual patterns which appear at the textual surface but which allow conclusions about the functional, thematical, social, stylistic, and intertextual dimension of texts. Methodologically, the study pursues a mixed-methods approach combining quantitative analyses and qualitative assesment. Patterns which are tangible from the textual surface by automatic methods are broadly extracted and statistically analyzed. The study is based on the theoretical discourse of text type linguistics as well as on results from historical linguistics on the patterns of devotional text types. Analyses are performed comparing corpora of the two devotional text types with each other as well as with a reference corpus of various text types. This way, statistically founded results can be obtained on a broad corpus basis. The corpora are obtained from the German Text Archive.The thesis contributes to a text- and corpus-linguistic methodology to capture textual patterns of historical text types, their informative value about contextual factors and their cultural significance. With the focus on devotional literature of the 17th century the study sheds light on a genre which, in its time, aimed at strengthening and instructing Christians and the Christian community and with this, had a firm place in the lives of all social classes. Dieses kann u. a. durch self tracking-Technologien erfüllt werden.\r\nAnhand von drei Fallbeispielen – der Personenwaage, dem Wearable und dem habit tracker – zeigt\r\ndieser Aufsatz, wie sich medienbasierte Selbsttechnologien im historischen Verlauf intensiviert und\r\nstärker in den Alltag integriert haben.
