This article focuses on discursive strategies, aiming to link the individual and structural level by investigating counter-narratives as a means to mitigate hostile behavioral intentions. Specifically, it examines the relationship between anti-Muslim hostility and two dimensions of counter-narratives: empathy and differentiation. The findings indicate that, in general, both empathy and differentiation are significantly associated with reduced anti-Muslim hostility. This association is particularly strong among those on the political left. Significant correlations pointing to the same direction are also observed in the political center. However, within the political right spectrum, only the affective component of counter-narratives, empathy, is linked to reduced hostility, while the cognitive dimension of counter-narratives, differentiation, does not show a significant relationship with anti-Muslim hostility. These findings suggest that greater emphasis should be placed and focused on counter-narratives and their potential to reduce hostility, both within the scientific community and in other knowledge production systems. While studying abroad, international students not only pursue academic qualifications but also begin to imagine and plan their future mobility trajectories. One central decision concern is whether to remain in the host country after graduation or return to the country of origin or move to another country. This article investigates the individual and social factors that shape post‐graduation work intentions among international Chinese students in Germany, the second‐largest international student group in the country. Drawing on original survey data from the Bright Futures project (2018), we analyse how life satisfaction, romantic partnerships, career aspirations and social networks influence students’ likelihood of planning to work in Germany after graduation. Using binary logistic regression models, we find that higher life satisfaction, valuing meaningful employment and having a partner in Germany are all significantly associated with intentions to stay. In contrast, the geographical location of broader personal networks shows no significant effect. These findings contribute to migration and higher education research by foregrounding the role of subjective well‐being and certain forms of relational embeddedness in shaping students’ imagined futures. Rather than treating international students as passive participants in education‐driven mobility, we highlight how personal and emotional factors influence their transition into potential long‐term migrants.

The inimitable specific binding interaction of DNA, as well as the spontaneous transition of peptide or protein molecules into highly organized superstructures, can be harnessed for sophisticated artificial materials and nanostructure fabrication. Because of their unprecedented programmability and addressability, DNA nanostructures and especially DNA origami nanostructures provide a modular platform for the development of hybrid DNA‐peptide and DNA‐protein systems. In this Perspective, we discuss how DNA nanostructures can be leveraged to control peptide and protein self‐assembly, thus enabling the creation of new and increasingly sophisticated hybrid biomaterials, the single‐molecule study of peptide–peptide self‐assembly, and the development of therapeutic tools to modulate disease‐related amyloid aggregation. Additionally, coiled coil motifs, as an example, can be used as programmable building blocks in DNA nanotechnology for the peptide and protein‐mediated hierarchical self‐assembly of DNA nanostructures. Finally, we address the potential of DNA nanostructure‐templated protein self‐assembly. Eine innovative Anwendung der AAS stellt hierbei die hybride, datengetriebene Werkzeugauslegung von Umformprozessen dar. Der hybride Ansatz bezieht hierbei neben klassischen Modelldaten ebenfalls reale Prozessdaten sowie Erfahrungswissen mit ein. Hierdurch entsteht ein heterogener Datensatz, bestehend aus einer hohen Anzahl an Daten mit unterschiedlichen Modalitäten. Dieser Beitrag untersucht anhand des Stanzbiegeprozesses eine Automatisierungsarchitektur mittels AAS-Einbindung, die die heterogenen Datensätze automatisiert akquiriert, verarbeitet und maschinenlesbar zur Verfügung stellt. Hierdurch wird einem Machine Learning Modul ermöglicht, die Wirkzusammenhänge zwischen Prozessparametern und Messdaten zu erlernen und anhand dessen eine optimierte Werkzeugauslegung für spezifische Produktgeometrien auszugeben. Ein Fokus liegt auf der Schnittstelle der heterogenen Prozessdatenrepräsentation, mit der sowohl Anwender als auch ML-Modul interagieren. The resulting deviations are currently countered iteratively using expert knowledge in the design phase as well as during the production process. However, this is not always successful due to the complex interactions between semi-finished product properties and forming tools. To automate the optimization of tool geometries and process adjustments, an accurate prediction model of correlations between process/tool parameters and product properties is necessary. In that regard, an application programming interface (API) aligned with the Asset Administration Shell (AAS) specification is developed utilizing a hybrid data-driven approach. It enables the transformation of various data formats e.g., from sensor and simulation data into a machine-readable structure. The API is linked to a digital twin and a database, to automatically gather requested information and provide the new structured data to a machine learning (ML) model. Charles Quint poursuivit la tentative du duc Charles le Téméraire d'encercler les comtes de Frise orientale et de rattacher les autres territoires frisons au complexe de possession bourguignon-néerlandais. A l'aide d’une extension des droits féodaux du Brabant et de Gueldre, ce coin devait être sécurisé afin de prévenir, entre autres, une invasion danoise.
