However, this\r\nprocess can only be used at optimum speed if bottlenecks can be effectively avoided. One of these\r\nconstraints is the design process. Although modern CAD systems allow a significant increase in\r\nmany areas, this always requires a person with specific skills (e.g. engineer). In the field of AM in\r\nparticular, more and more powerful software solutions have recently been published which\r\naccelerate the Design for Additive Manufacturing, including most CAD-tasks. In many areas,\r\ntherefore, attempts are already made to automate relevant design steps as much as possible, more\r\nand more using neural networks and artificial intelligence.
