As the selection of a mobility model influences the outcome of simulations to a great deal, the use of a representative model is necessary for producing meaningful evaluation results. Based on these observations, we present a hybrid simulation framework composed of the road traffic simulator SUMO and the network simulator OMNeT++. The coupled simulation environment is used for an evaluation of two protocols for incident warning in VANETs."}],"_id":"6062","status":"public","publisher":"IEEE","publication":"27th IEEE Conference on Computer Communications (INFOCOM 2008): IEEE Workshop on Mobile Networking for Vehicular Environments (MOVE 2008)","date_updated":"2022-01-06T07:02:51Z","user_id":"49154","type":"conference","place":"Phoenix, AZ","language":[{"iso":"eng"}],"doi":"10.1109/INFOCOM.2008.4544655","page":"1-6","date_created":"2018-12-07T16:22:04Z","year":"2008","department":[{"_id":"589"}],"title":"Simulating the Influence of IVC on Road Traffic using Bidirectionally Coupled Simulators"}
