By leveraging inverse design techniques, we optimize the coupler’s geometry to maximize power transfer while maintaining fabrication feasibility by improving mode overlap and directional emission, addressing the challenge of low coupling efficiency caused by size mismatch and material incompatibility. Simulations demonstrate a substantial enhancement in photon extraction and waveguide coupling.
